Moving sucks. Period. We used this service when we moved from Florida to Connecticut. We ordered their largest container which was 16 ft. This was designed to be able to fit the contents of about a 1200 sq. ft. home. Requesting a quote and for the pod to be delivered was easy and can be done on their website; the customer service hotline can be called also. The truck dropped the pod off and we had a few days to load it. We scheduled a date for pickup; from drop off to pickup, they were prompt both times. They also give us a call when they're on their way. It's pretty awesome seeing how they move the pod on and off the truck too; the truck has a lift that is specialized to pick up the pod. Once we got to Connecticut, the pod was dropped off the next day; customer service was great. Overall, it was a seamless process and made moving 1,300 miles, a little less stressful; wished we used them the first time we moved from New England to Florida! read more

I have been trying for over a month to transfer a POD onto my account from my contractor's. (this is FL and it is our property post hurricanes Helene and Milton). BTW the contractor is very willing to do what he needs to in order to get this accomplished. I have set up an account with PODS to transfer this POD onto, I have shared a transfer of ownership form with the contractor and was advised to call a help line and have this transfer finalized. When I call INDIA (help line), they tell me this cannot be done. I ask for clarification why, since I have had 2 local PODS employees say it can be and they used to do it all the time before the call centers moved overseas and their authorities changed. I have literally spent over 10 hours!!! on the phone between various individuals, many of it on a 3 way call with the contractor giving his authorization to transfer this to my account. Any move can be stressful, no matter how much planning you do, how much you prepare, or how easy you think it's going to be. When things start out right and then go from bad to worse, stress Is no longer just the only thing that is going to occur. You'll lose time, you'll lose money, and in some cases, you can lose your belongings; for a long time, in our case. We contracted PODS with a hope that this company will be the answer to our prayers for a 1700-mile move to start a new beginning, while taking an enormous leap of faith to transfer with my company after several years of working from home. With a month of preparing and attempting to pack our home, we got things started with them; including some great discounts on top of the ones that were already in place at the time of booking. The first container - 16' - arrived on-tine, and the driver who brought it was super friendly, knew how to use "Podzilla," their patented container mover perfectly, and followed every detail in terms of placement of the container. I wish we had the same guy when it was time to pick-up the container in a hurry (Thanks PODS for rushing me when it was time for the part of the move that went sour and remains so....). We were realizing that with the amount of things that remained to be packed, that we might need another container that we already had in place to come. This time, it was an "8'" container. And it might have well been a TARDIS (except, it was NOT bigger on the inside - sorry Doctor Who fans) without the surprise inside. An 8' container IS NOT HALF THE SIZE OF THE 16' container by no stretch of the imagination. This thing is easily a good 6.5' at best inside. So, deceptively so, our hearts sank, so I called for help immediately. And here's where the adventure begins.... The agent on the phone was delightfully empathetic and "apologized for the issues we were having with the second container and would do their best to resolve the issue." Amazing script reading, PODS agents are trained to do! After some conversation about what we needed and how fast, given we were needing to move our flights from 4/30 to 5/1 to accommodate the need to spend several hours to pack and finalize the second container, the agent promised us that we would have the second container, a 16', delivered to us expedited on 4/30, so we could get the rest of our belongings packed securely and leave just enough time to clean our home to prepare to surrender back to our property management company. Several hours passed....NO CONTAINER delivered - no phone calls - no NOTHING! We had been at a standstill for several hours with NOTHING PACKED up because we had nowhere to put it and also we were waiting so we could ask for help to assist us along the way. I chatted in and the agent supposedly tried to reach the facility manager in our original location - and what kind of manager does not answer their phone? Apparently that one... And at the exact moment I needed to ask for additional assistance, the chat ended abruptly and I couldn't call them either. Sooooo.....we had to leave the place in shambles and for other people to pick up our pieces - so many pieces. We are in the air - two different flights on 5/1 and at 35,000' - PODS attempts to charge us several times to deliver the 16' container they promised to bring the day before. Of course there wasn't going to be anything on the method of payment I had contracted the first container for - and the second one we had financed through Affirm - they promised to swap at no additional charge, so why were they attempting to charge us again? 7-hours later to our destination - not our new home, mind you, just on the ground, my phone is BLOWN UP by several calls and then a rude voicemail that since our card wasn't able to be charged, the container would be cancelled. What??!!!!??? So, I call them quickly and speak to their "collections rep" who tells me the container was cancelled - I informed her that we were supposed to have it delivered the day before and for no additional cost. She tells me essentially tough luck and that was the end of the call. Lo and behold the next day, I get an email telling me that the new container is scheduled to arrive with a three-hour window on 5/3 - 5/3??? OMG - you're now 3-days late over your PROMISED delivery time! I inform the people helping us that the container will be there on 5/3 - meanwhile, we're getting screamed at by them about the condition the house had to be left in and the work we left for them to accomplish on our behalf; friendship casualties at this point. The second container was loaded up to the hilt and picked-up on 5/9 - and it's been sitting 1700-miles away since 5/9! Why? Because PODS bait and switched us on our pricing and refused to take ownership other than admitting fault after calling me a liar. It's bad enough the BBB is involved. We just want our stuff back! BEWARE! My husband and I moved from the Seattle area to Texas. We ordered 2 16' Pods for the move. The drop off was fine. The move was fine.....HOWEVER.....we called for the Pods to be delivered on the TWELFTH of the month. THEY didn't have time available until the 19th. On the 16th (their billing cycle) they charged us for a "whole rental month" of $877.48 for the 3 days that THEY couldn't deliver them. They have NO Pro Rate!! That is a HUGE RIPOFF! I called to dispute the charge. They sent it over for a review with their Pods Advocacy, and dismissed my case in THEIR FAVOR! Recently requested a pod to be loaded in Ocala, FL., with delivery to Tampa, FL. The pod arrived on time, and the driver Terrance, was very professional. We scheduled the pick-up time for Saturday the the 23rd, between 8 and 12 that day. The pick-up was confirmed by my wife, and was assured us we didn't need to be there for the pick-up. When we arrived home that afternoon, the pod was still here. We called all the appropriate numbers, and after 2 hours on the phone, we finally got a phone number to a manager, only to find it was disconnected. After several attempts thereafter to have someone rectify the situation,n my wife finally spoke to a manager, I assume at the Ocala, FL. office. And he assured us that this pod would be picked up today, the 25th. As of now, they have scheduled the pick up sometime tomorrow. My wife and I both rearranged our schedules to accommodate the pod's schedule. taking time off, arranging labor to help unpack, etc...As of now, Pods cannot give us a time period for pickup or a delivery date. TOTAL THIEVES. We lost our home in hurricane Helene - schedule a pod to store the few items we salvaged. Hurricane Milton is coming so it would be $150 to reschedule. They decided to not deliver and scheduled the new date - without contacting us at all - for Nov 19 - 6 weeks away. If that date doesnt work it is $150 reschedule fee. If we want to cancel - $150 cancellation fee. And they are screwing us for 1 month and deliver from today - Oct 7 even though they never delivered a pod and they are charging us a pickup fee for a pod they never delivered if we cancel on top of the cancellation fee and 1st month. All in all - is it $150 plus $271 plus $85 = $506 to NEVER get a POD. read more

NO ACCOUNTABILITY and TOTAL DISREGARD - THINK TWICE! We rented 2 16ft PODs and scheduled it for delivery after 5 months of paying for storage on 10/23/25 and "POD" Rescheduled our POD Delivery for 10/25/25 and charged us $437.62 for the rescheduling! We contracted POD to deliver (2) 16ft containers and stored at their VA location with a guarantee that they would be able to deliver at our GA home as long as we gave them 7 days notice. Our VA home sold, we bought a home in GA and on 9/22/25 we scheduled our POD Delivery for 10/23/25. The POD Rep advised me that the funds would be withdrawn from my account on 10/07 to solidify the delivery request ($5247), like clock work, they did. Because my husband and I still live and work in VA area, we had to fly to GA for the shipment's arrival. On the morning of 10/22/25 (Wed), (I was due to fly out of DCA that evening), I received a text that my shipment has been Rescheduled for 10/25/25 (Sat). I contacted PODs customer service immediately, and informed her that we had flights that day and moving the delivery date would not only impact the company we had scheduled to unload on Friday the 24th, it would result in my having to take additional PTO, that I didn't have or rebook a new flight. Her response: I am sorry, there is nothing I can do, when I asked for the reason, she said they didn't confirm the zip code (Hmm, I would have thought if you extracted over 5200 dollars from someone's account on 10/07, you would have confirmed that said service could have been provided on 10/23). After 10 minutes or more asking to have my call escalated, I asked for compensation, for which she replied, someone from Our PODS Advocacy team will have to investigate. I told her I wanted the $437.62 returned to my account and the repayment for new flight that had to be booked. My communications with their Customer Support Supervisors, PODs Advocacy group has demonstrated a lack of accountability, poor attitude and total disrespect once they have your money. As Retired military members, we have always pride ourselves as trustworthy and reliable people, we have ensured every expense from POD was met with timely payments, between storing and delivery of our property we have paid this company over 11k. For a company of this size to inconvenience a family and have total disregard and show NO accountability is disappointing. Per the Advocacy Rep in an email to me today: "Once again PODS is not obligated to compensate for delays with the initial Deliveries and/or the Redeliveries of the container." WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER! They've missed a delivery (Bethlehem, PA facility) and failed to provide the moving blankets we requested and paid for. They do no accept responsibility for any of it and no attempts to make it right! I had to spend 3x as much money to buy moving blankets (very hard to find a day before you need them!). They also missed the 4-7 delivery window THEY PROMISED several times. We had to rearrange our unload movers and reschedule ALL of our remaining POD deliveries. Absolutely, positively the worst customer service and debacle we have ever experienced from a company. Ever! Improperly weighed containers. Missed pickup dates. Being charged for company mistakes. Dashboard constantly being down. The largest headache of all - their customer service department. We have made easily 25+ calls to PODS Customer Service over the past month. Spoken to AT LEAST 10 supervisors - not front line workers - supervisors to include the 'head of Customer Service, the manager of all customer service managers', Gabby. Not one supervisor, to include Gabby, ever called us back as they promised they would. They all cared so much and promised they would. No one ever did. Every call would be opening a ticket. Be patient. Wait 72 hours. Your account is closed and the issue is resolved. So we have to call again. We spend 20 minutes explaining. Ask for supervisor. We've been given the run around so many times by so many different people at PODS it's beyond me how this company is still operational. I've even gone to the local site to get assistance. The doors are locked. No one answers the phone or responds to calls texts at that number taped to the door during business hours. We've even been told not to go there by Gabby. At this point, it's like they want to cause us to fail. This company is not pro-military move and are vastly in breach of their contractual agreement with us. They are not friendly or knowledgeable to getting containers weighed properly/correctly, or providing in any shape or form quality customer service. When the 'manager of the whole customer service' tells you she's the last stop and no one else can or will help you and that even she doesn't have a supervisor to speak with when specially asked - you give up. She even doesn't call back or provide alternatives to help resolve your issue. Leaves you with an 'oh well' and hangs up - no amount of retraining can fix the core issues at PODS. Do not use this company. Plenty of other options out there. Simply unbelievable how you all are in business. I called pods for an estimate and within the same 24 hours I got estimates ranging from $5000-$15,000 for the exact same space! One person answering the phone didn't even know if they did estimates come to find out he's the one that was supposed to do it. Then he gave me an estimate without hardly asking me what I had inside my apartment or if I had a storage unit. All he asked was if it was lightly or moderately full. Nothing more. I really wanted to use pods but I just don't trust the people. I also got conflicting information From each time (6!) that I called pods on other aspects. How can this be? When we found out that we were being transferred, we looked into all kinds of different services. We settled on PODS because it seemed to be fair. They told us based on the size of our house and our belongings, we need an 8 foot and a 16 foot pod. They gave us a quote for both. They were very wrong. We had the 16 footer, and needed an extra day which they wouldn't give us, so it wasn't completely full when they took it. Because of this, items were damaged that we can't even file a claim on until we have our other pod because they're on the same contract. When we told them that the eight footer wasn't going to be big enough, they apologized after sending it, and had it picked up. They told us we would have a 16 foot pod dropped at no extra charge because of their mistake. We were quoted just under $3200 originally. We made sure that they weren't going to charge more for the 16 footer, since we should've been quoted the price for that in the first place, and they said that the price wasn't going to change because of everything that went wrong. I set up a prepaid card with Affirm just for that, and after they charged the card originally, They tried to charge another $1800 on top of it, which obviously didn't go through. In the meantime, they were supposed to deliver the pod that evening, but it didn't show up until three days later, and we had to have people pack our house. We've lost friends over this whole mess, and PODS still has our belongings, two months later. I'm blind, and they have my entire independence in that pod. The reason that the items that I need weren't packed in the first pod, was because I needed them until we moved. They said that they will refund the difference between what they won't change in price and what we were quoted! So, they essentially want to show they are making higher profit and sales on the front end while offsetting this with an amount that doesn't allow us to finance the original amount! They call us a solution, when I call it a bait and switch tactic! Everything I OWN is in that pod, including adaptive equipment to make it so that I can live my life. I can't do anything for myself. Now, I have to have other people cook for me, clean for me, do my laundry for me, and these are things that I used to do on my own. I'm falling into a depression that I don't know if I can dig myself out of now, and I'm losing sleep over the stress! This company simply doesn't care about anybody. I wish that I had seen the experiences that people had with pods just in the last two months, but unfortunately, we already fell into their trap before those reviews were written. Many bait and switch stories, and we've already filed a case against them with Florida's BBB and are in the process of filing a complaint with Florida's Attorney General because that's where they're based. In the process of fighting this, we have emails from them stating that it's our problem that we were missed quoted, but they aren't going to honor our quote. We spoke to several people who told us there would be no extra charge beyond the $3122 That we had already given them. They backed out several charges, then tried to recharge again before Affirm finally closed out the card due to suspicion of fraud. This company doesn't care about you or your belongings, they just care about how much money they can get from you, and companies like that need to be shut down. Coincidentally, the day that our official BBB complaint was accepted, they sent their collections team after us. This is because while we're fighting all of this, they're adding on storage fees that we wouldn't have if they had just delivered our stuff! By telling me to contact their media person, they're trying to make themselves look better, when they already know, if they read this entire post, that it's already been signed to an executive relations person, and they keep passing it around and giving us the same Non-solution! Businesses need to make themselves look better by taking positive action, not telling people to contact them when they know there's nothing that the people they want me to contact can do. You PODS truck was just north of I4 on I95 and the ropes to the PODS sig that is a heave tarp came off and it hit the front of mt Toyota 4Runner very hard. there does not seems to be any body damage, but I am no expert. There is significant marking and scrapes from the heavy tarp that I am holding you accountable for. Please see the pictures attached. Initial expectation for this traumatic event is a high-end detail of the entire care - pending any damages to the body or paint that cannot be corrected. I ordered a small POD for a move. Note, I have used them multiple times in the past. This time, black marks were left ALL over my driveway. Mind you, this I a fairly new house built about 4-5 years ago so the driveway is super clean and pretty. So I called to report it immediately after I noticed and it had already been reported by the driver. If he's reporting it, think maybe even he agreed it was bad?! Anyway, I sent in pics and a statement just to be told today they will not do anything to help. They blamed the heat, they blamed the UV rays, and they even claimed maybe my driveway wasn't sealed properly! Remember at the beginning when I said I used them multiple times in the past??? Well... I have only been in this house for a year and I used them to deliver my stuff... ONE year ago and it was a large POD then (18 ft I think). I am beyond livid. I think a pressure washing would fix it but did not even offer. I loved PODS until this. NEVER again. All they had to do was care. But they are kind of busy not answering my calls. In fact, it's still in the original city. Now If I try to call them from the phone number on the account, they will reroute my call to oblivion. Nice customer service. It must be nice to work there, there are no supervisors or anyone who might want to help. So, even though I've been receiving texts every day that my POD would be delivered on time, at the last minute it got changed by 5 (FIVE) days. Now all my calls all ignored. PODS sucks, do not use them under any circumstance. It's doubtful I ever see the POD again anyways. Every person we have talked with just repeats the negative statements of "I can't help you" "We can't contact the facilities directly" They have little ability to assist. If I could reach the CEO by phone, I would. POD dropped fine, when I went to schedule the delivery, the system told me to call. I call and I am told that delivery to St. George UT is not possible, they do not go there. Well, the agent who booked up didn't mention this. We didn't have a specific address but we advised the city and state. I will be called 12 on your side here in the Richmond VA area if they do not get this POD out of my driveway. Do yourself a favor and look at their BBB rating. Spend the extra money and store it or drive it yourself. At least your things won't be held at ransom for a business' inability to manage itself or care about their customers. PODs kept my container for 1-1/2 years, charged over 7k, and refused to deliver, sending me through endless reps for the last year denying access to management or escalating the issue. I contacted them via email, phone calls, and continually got the run around. At quote I explained I sold my house and didn't know which state I would end up moving to. They delivered a 12' container. Quoted $840. The PODs-recommended packing company sent two young men, one their first day and the other didn't even work for the company. Neither had packed a container before. They left my items on the sidewalk and walked away. My sibling unpacked and repacked everything to fit and still had room. For the first eight months I tried to get the container redelivered, they continually told me it couldn't cross state lines. I bought a ticket and traveled to go unload it. Then when I called to have it redelivered to a friend's house in-state, they said they could just trick their system to have it deliver a 16' container. The next four months were endless calls and e-mails, from different reps contradicting each other. Each claiming different amounts they would have to charge. Then another call they cancelled my delivery. Another request to reschedule. In the end the pushed a ton of unauthorized charges through and tried to blame me, that they didn't know they could deliver to my city and that was the one year delay. I used PODS once before and they were great in CA but here in FL they are terrible. They were supposed to arrive at my condo between 9 and 10 in the am. Just had a message they would arrive sometime between 2 and 4. Gee, why wasn't this told to me when I scheduled? And forget about any customer service. Their representatives are all in the Philippines. You may not be able to understand what they are saying but my rep said "Gayle, on this one...." about a thousand times. I know there is a language barrier but stop saying my name like you need me to keep hearing that you know who I am. After what should have been a 10 minute call turned into a half hour I was almost ready to just cancel but he assured me that everything would be as I asked. Hours before my move I get this message about the time. Not morning, but afternoon. I already had packers arriving at 9 so when they are done they should just stand around waiting for the POD? Not at $50 an hour they won't. Can they get there earlier? No help at all. Just more nonsense from the Island. This company is unreliable. They do things their way and could really care less what you want. Last time when I gave them a bad review I finally got to speak to someone locally. And what did they do to mitigate the situation? This company is a nightmare. I was doing a move from PA to FL. The day I was scheduled to receive my POD to begin loading I received a text message that it would not be arriving for 2 more days. I was packed and ready to move. The problems continued. The POD door was broken and it took 3 strong men to open and close. They did not send the POD to FL as requested but stored it in Delaware causing me to not have access when I needed it. Long wait times when you try to call and resolve issues. Employees try to be helpful but they are located overseas, speak poor English and are not adequately trained. Choose a different company. read more

I did a military move from San Antonio Texas to Tacoma, Washington and Pods fumbled and screwed up every step of the way. From the outset they (almost) failed to pick up my Pod in San Antonio, claiming that one gate on the base was closed. (Cool, there's other gates. But they attempted to just say screw it and go get it another day.) I had to pause my move and hold their feet to the fire to get their driver onto base, as agreed upon by our contract. Then at our destination, they failed to come pick up my Pod on the agreed upon time, which caused me to incur a $400 (arbitrary) storage fee. Lastly, military moves require empty and full weight tickets, which I ordered. I have called 7 times now in order to get those weight tickets so I can be reimbursed by the Government, and Pods has no clue where they are. PODs is refusing to honor the quote that was sent to me and have overcharged me. When I opened a "case" regarding this on July 4th I was told I would hear back within 42 hours. After sending multiple emails regarding this case the case was closed out on 7/23 for the wrong amount of the credit. I was overcharged $687.24 and was reimbursed $217.40. I have now spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved with only getting the run around by customer service agents. So this is breach of contract on their part. When the POD was delivered to my house the new PODS driver drove the POD into a ditch. I had movers standing by to unload the POD that I had to pay for and send home. I was told by a PODS that if the POD was not seated in my 7:00 pm PODs would reimburse me for the movers. I opened another "case" and was informed today it was closed out without even contacting me and so now PODS is refusing to comply with their own policies. Be prepared to pay $1,000s of dollars in extra fees. What a total rip off. Moved from Vegas to Florida. Was told you get one month free storage. So not true. I have paid over $1 000 in storage fees for one month. The amount to redeliver was changed. This company is so not worth the hype. Beware of non-delivery zip codes. I called in to give my new address lady was pleasant have no indication the address I gave was going to be a problem for them. I'm made to believe all is well. 5000.00 dollars later and 2 days. I double check my info online. Can't be to careful... I notice the address is correct, but the zip is wrong. No problem I go online to my account and correct the error. Hmm... this won't let me make the change. I call PODS it's a simple mistake, they can fix. I called about 15 days ahead of my move. Finally speak with someone and I'm told they don't deliver to that zip code, but they could put a request in for an exception. We ALL no how that works. I request to speak with someone who can make changes and fix things!! This company has NO Mangers to call and address issues! They make these overworked, undereducated and under paid reps take the bullets for their shady business practices. Make sure you get them to verify the will deliver to your new zip code. read more

This is the first negative review that I have ever posted - even when the product or service was disappointing. BELIEVE the negative reviews. They can't adequately describe how traumatic your experience will probably be. Mine has been unbelievably traumatic and unnecessarily more expensive. It has lasted, in earnest, for over 3 weeks. I have documented lengthy 697-637(help) lengthy chats; 37hrs 17 minutes phone time- mostly on hold. At times, we have used 2 & 3 phones simultaneously trying to get through in a reasonable amount of time. Press 1 to keep your place in line for a call back is a pipe dream - next day response maybe. 2 of my calls actually went through to a USA call center - and both provided inadequate service and incomplete service, per the Asian component, sorry Randy and Amelia. 99.99% of the time, you will be talking with someone in Asia - part of the time their accent is so bad it's basically incoherent, other times the volume is so low that communication is impossible. Ask for a supervisor and you get disconnected after being on hold for over an hr. - each time. I have had 2 calls on which they actually could communicate and were helpful - not scripted text only. Some of these fruitless encounters don't even get entered into your record. Others bear no resemblance to your discussion. They don't necessarily show up as scheduled and confirmed and it's basically a week for their new rescheduled date. Sometimes they reschedule to a date and time at their whim, without obtaining your confirmation. The majority of their drivers are either inadequately trained or just don't give a darn to do it right. Will Borden was the only driver and PODS person who really cared to do it right and follow up - went outside the strict scope of his assignment. They've lost 2 of my containers and basically it was "we don't have that container number". Yet, the container # is on the account page available to me and for which I'm paying. I'm still waiting for a copy of their statements, since my records show over payments, (mistake on my part - I'm on auto bank draft. Suddenly there is a charge and no explanation etc.) Per contract, I was to have free access to containers at their facility. Wrong, there's a significant charge each time. Annually the storage fees increase exponentially. And throughout this whole ordeal, you cannot get through to anyone at the warehouse - everything goes through the outsourced Asian line. I'm switching my moving and storage needs to RR where the fees are about 50% cheaper. But most of all it's their service that is the winner. They have an account concierge assigned to the specific work order, and every call I make is taken at the local office, without being on hold. They have been extremely accommodating with last minute changes due to PODS failing to meet their scheduled deliveries and pick-ups. My health has suffered due to their dishonest and conflicting stories, inexplicable excuses, unreliable service. No one that you can reach has the ability to help you if something goes haywire. Each time you start from scratch and per their scripted protocol. For a month they have not been able to resolve my sign-in problem. If by any chance your simple order goes smoothly, fall to your knees and thank the Almighty for the miracle. There's also a cliché "Even a blind pig finds an acorn occasionally." read more

So many different people invonlved in one transaction. Never can reach the same person through the process. Watch the billing one day they charge one card then then next charge another card. When getting resolution on issues they conduct an in house one sideded investigation and dont reach out to the customer just make a decision. They say they are avilable to contact a customer advocate but I tried three times and just got email responses. I ordered a pod to go from AZ to OK on the 5th of Feburary 2024 and had concluded buisness with Pods by the 19th. I was told one thing in the begining and it was not how it turned out at all. Billing wrong and got hung up on several times. They want upfornt payment of transportation before our pod left the state. This was odd I am involved in daily transportation activities and we pay for service after the service is porvided. Over all this was a teribble experience beware. read more

Used PODS for a move from Texas to Maine. Initial pickup went smoothly. Online portal was inaccurate as to the location of my POD in transit and customer service provided conflicting/unhelpful responses over the phone. POD was in fact dropped off on time but caused significant damage to my driveway both on drop off and at pick up - all four corners of the Podzilla frame caused gouges in the surface. Reached out to PODS to file a claim. They demanded photographs and a written report. I got a boilerplate reply basically telling me to buzz off and not even acknowledging the damage or offering sympathy. Not only did they hide behind the legalese in their service agreement to stiff-arm me, they suggested I was to blame for telling them to put the POD where they did (where else was it supposed to go?) and for the driveway being susceptible to damage (it survived two years of heavy use including a boat trailer and a UBox delivery without any problems). In addition to all of the above, the POD was handled roughly in transit and my items were damaged - my fault for not packing them well enough, sure, but I moved a similar number of items with a UBox around the same time and had none of these problems. I would've been happy with an expression of sympathy (not even an apology) and a few bucks to cover repairs but PODS seems to prefer to treat their customers as legal threats instead of human beings. Would strongly recommend UBox or another competitor instead. read more

BEWARE! They damaged my pristine lawn TERRIBLY! When they delivered my POD, they did major damage. Then, when they picked it up, they did even MORE damage! I spent nearly four hours and almost $100 out-of-pocket to repair what they damaged. Sent them many clear photos and described exactly what happened. Everything was fine until you receive the credit card statement and they charge you nearly twice what the originally quoted. I spoke with the first line of customer service Ronnie, very rude, must be working from home because all you could hear was a movie Full Metal Jacket movie playing, then Marcia, very nice, very helpful and sympathetic. Gave me an incident case and said that a representative would get back with me and that it would take up to 10 days. 20 days later nothing. Received another credit card statement and nothing changed. Pods still charged me twice the amount quoted. Call the 800 number and requested that they move the pod from my yard. The person ignored my statements and scheduled the pick up. Bottom line...do not use them...check your credit card statements and compare it to your quote. They DO NOT honor their quoted pricing and could care less. read more

Been waiting for days for my pod and being told by 10 different customer service reps they don't deliver to new location!!! They promised days ago they would deliver!!! My pod is unattended on somebody else property!!! I need my belongings!!!! They don't care!!! They don't care!!! They are awful and I will never ever ever use or refer them!! Wow, just do not know where to begin. I never used pod until this move. I sold my house and had 3 weeks between new purchase. So i decide to use pod and store my furnishing for 3 weeks. I received a called from Dan in Corporate in Clearwater, Fl. On a Tuesday, The accident happened of a Friday, First mistake i was not told immediately. My pod was stored in Sarasota Fl. location. Luckily no one was hurt. It appeared pure negligence!!!! The employee aka Fork Lift Driver dropped my pod in the warehouse. 90% of all furnishing was destroyed and broken. Pictures were taken by me as well the movers aka Clean up crew. Dan the Advocacy. Definitely works to protect the company not the consumer. He made it seemed I was at fault and i should of gotten insurance. Who knew!! I trusted pod to protect, secure and keep my furnishing. After numerous pictures and itemizing pricing on items. What a joke $5,000.They destroyed my family's livelihood. (2 bedrooms to include mattresses, all glass kitchen ware, 2 TV stands, Credenza etc.) yall get the picture. The absolutely worse company they do not care about their customers. SHAME ON THEM!!!! I refused to settle with them. I am still in claims with them as of today.3/02/2020. CEO:John B. I have had my belongings in storage with PODS for longer than I am comfortable with, but Covid hit and my life seriously changed... I have on several occasions made a payment arrangement to pay for my monthly storage fee but PODS ALWAYS goes into my account and charges me more than I've authorized. They did it again today. Charged me for two months vs. the one I authorized them for, overdrawing my account and now my rent check will bounce. They should be cited for fraud. I cannot even get a fax number or email to contact someone in their corporate office. The last time this happened they told me they couldn't reverse the charges, although I had a firm arrangement. They just go in and take whatever they want from your account. I have spent many hours on the phone with the billing department trying to straighten out these situations but they say they cannot reverse the charges and offer no resolution. They just continue to take money without my authorization. I would strongly advise anyone NOT to do business with this company. They are stealing money and they tell you that the contract says they can go in and charge your account whenever they want. DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

I was ready to give 5 stars from my ordering experience. The ordering piece was seamless and the delivery of the POD was great. Excellent communication, deals were explained fairly well and the whole ordering and delivery process seemed to be going along pretty well. After our POD was picked up when we left our old place it went to the storage facility to be held until we were ready to have it delivered. We found a new house sooner than expected, called PODS to set up a delivery and were told that due to unforeseen logistical problems we could not have our personal contents delivered for a little over a month. Really? Completely not acceptable.... I get it, things happen, but a month? After doing a lot of calling, writing emails and leaving messages, I was assigned a person who was doing his best to get it delivered sooner. Long story short, we got it a few days later than we needed it, and picked up a few days later than we wanted it to leave. The guy handling our case was nice and did his best. The guy who delivered out POD was great. Super nice and friendly Thank you Shannon. It is a good service, but logistics need to be worked out sooner and don't deliver it you can't redeliver on time. May or may not use again. Big hiccup, but they made it right and we got our stuff. read more
