The contents contained antiques and artwork which required special handling. From beginning to end Tom diligently supervised the entire job. He was in constant contact with me to assure everything went smoothly. These guys are fabulous! I was hesitant to use this company due to the bad reviews yet so many of my friends have used their service with only great experiences. I realize there is always two sides to every story. I recommend you hear Beach Moving's side since the person who posted the negative reviews did not even use their services. First, its a family run business. The owner is kind, professional, most helpful & understanding of the stress of moving to a new home. He provided boxes and scheduled the first availability one week later. This gave me enough time to pack up my condo. His son dropped off plenty empty boxes in a timely manner. Those extra boxes were a life saver with my move The son was very professional, thoughtful and helpful just like his father. When it came moving day, they showed up on time, had moving blankets and dollies for the big pieces and were very careful with each piece of furniture. Great communication on what needs to be moved and what needs to stay. It has been a week since they successfully moved me to my new house. Things were broken. I was told they were decrepit when they were antiques. Like a tall brass candle stick holder was broke in three pieces. This just didn't break it was torn apart. They had nothing tied down. I had witnesses that saw a broken lamp a dirty bathroom mat and things sliding forward. I was also missing my tool bag Had an angel lamp. The owner Tom is a flat out liar. I would never trust this man or his company to move my things or even enter my home again. Tom came to my house this morning to give me a quote/time estimate. He was unsure if my preferred moving date was going to be available as it was tentatively held by a guy waiting to sign a lease. Tom said the next morning would be free and I agreed to that date, if my preferred moving date did not workout - after all, it was literally the next morning. Either way he was to confirm with me later today via text for the date and also include the pricing information. This was after we had a long conversation on the phone when he told me that he had a lot of availability as it was the middle of the month and that is when movers are slow. Well, everything that man said was a straight out lie as he sent me a text just hours after orally contracting with me that he would move me on one of two dates that "everyone he met with later in the day booked with him" (I thought I had too). and that now he is "fully booked to December but thanks for my interest." Unprofessional, dishonest and clearly not dependable, but glad i figured this out before I allowed them to touch my possessions. BE WARNED!!!! read more

After being completely ghosted by another moving company that I had found online, I was referred to Beach Moving by a family friend. Tom was incredibly friendly and personable on the phone, and he was able to squeeze me in for a small move within 2 days at the end of the month which is the busiest time. Their hourly price was also cheaper than the other company that I was going to use, with no minimum amount of time. My movers showed up on time and everything was intact upon arrival. I had a terrible experience with these people Tom being in charge, his son being involved as movers, move my things in March and my Michael Jordan jersey got stolen and they were responsible for that and I hold them responsible for and therefore they're not good people for doing that to me stealing my jersey so I'm out very valuable memorabilia and never got a callback or any responsibility for anything from these people! This morning, with 11 days to go before our confirmed move, the owner told me and I quote "you are bugging the hell out of me" when I asked for the 3rd time in 3 weeks if he could come over and give me a quote and drop off some boxes, both of which he had done in previous moves and which are totally reasonable. What mover doesn't give quotes???? Then he told me he would not be moving us and hung up! I guess customer service has hit a new low here and nothing matters to this man- not the fact that we're a repeat customer, a St. Pete Beach neighbor or long ago Little League parents together.
