This was an excellent program with guaranteed results until recently when the business decided to…read morestart mailing medications instead of providing them at the end of your appointment. This business use to provide the pre-filled syringes of medication at the end of your appointment after performing a health assessment and discussing the best options. You were then given the option of the medical staff administering your first shot and taking the other 2 pre-filled syringes home to administer yourself or taking all 3 pre-filled syringes home to administer yourself. Recently, the business started the new practice of mailing medications in a box with ice instead providing patients with the 3 pre-filled syringes or providing patients the option of the medical staff administering the first one at the clinic. This clinic no longer administers the first shot. They no longer provide the or/filled syringes at the end of the appointment. The new process involves waiting to receive the medications in the mail. This significantly delays progress. On average you have to wait 4-5 days before you see the medication now. You have to wait to find out when it's shipped which takes days. In addition, this medication is suppose to stay frozen but people work and if you are going to leave a package on someone's door step that is temperature sensitive in August, that seems like a bit of an issue. The box that it is mailed in is far too large to fit into a mailbox, so you need to get home early. If you live in an apartment you could ask the office at your apartment complex to hold it, but those offices close early and that means a working person may not be able to get the medications and start until a week after the office appointment. What is really troublesome is that you are mailed empty syringes, alcohol rubs. and bottles of and medications with no directions. The medication is a pain to get in the syringes and then you have to call the clinic to confirm the specific dosage you need since the measurement on the syringes not match the measurement type that you were told you would be prescribed while at the clinic. I was told that you can ask that the medication be mailed to the clinic but that means a second visit before you can start your medication and usually that means a week delay to your start. To add insult to injury, you are told to return in 3 weeks but you are already a week behind the day you should have started. All this new process has done is cause discouragement and a desire to start looking at other programs to determine if it's possible to get the medication injected at the clinic to ensure you are doing it right or at least get the prefilled syringes while at your appointment. I asked about this change and I was told it was a law. I do not see any law regarding doctors bring required to mail all medications to patients.

However, when you go in there for your session you anticipate to be a 40 minute session, they have you fill out your paperwork, make you wait additional time and see you 30 minutes after your arrival, and then tell you your session will only be 20 minutes. When I mentioned the discrepancy in the time, they said they can choose to have their sessions for as little or as long as they would like. Run far, far away unless you're really into deception and supporting businesses that have no ethics.

As I began browsing their website, I noticed one service I always wanted to try, the ionic foot detox (scheduled a colonic for another time). An ionic foot detox is said to work by pulling the toxins out of your body through your feet. I texted the number on the website and sent an email requesting an appointment for two and luckily, the business had a dual machine and was able to do a couple's detox. Response was quick and a few hours after my initial contact. The owner is very accommodating and helps to work around your schedule. As you walk in, you're asked to complete paper work, a quick two/three page doc. We were then escorted to the back room, sat on a comfy sofa and advised of the purpose of each device we were being connected to.... a wrist wrap, foot basin w/ sea salt, and warm waist wrap (for comfort). She started the machine and checked on us a few times throughout the process allowing us to relax and enjoy the soft music and aromatherapy smells in the air. During and after the treatment she explained what toxins was being release based on a color chart. Once done, our foots were removed from the tub and placed in a regular soaking basin to clean off followed by the owner drying our feet off and providing a quick oil rub massage. I highly recommend these and the many other ways to detox the body (cleanses/colonics). Our systems are overloaded with high levels of toxicity from the harmful chemicals in our hygiene products, cleaning products, foods we eat, and natural airborne toxins. The liver/kidneys works overtime to filter them out so detox methods are a great way to help out.

The prices are a little high from what I'm used to ($85 per visit), but I was curious to inquire about any special discount packages Pam was offering. The rule is, you come three times, but on your 3rd visit, it goes from $85 to $65. What wasn't communicated to me was that you have to come within a week of each other. I spaced mine out over 2 months and was quite surprised that during my third visit, I had to pay $85. After she explained that they had to be done within a week of each service, I let it go --- and paid the $85 for the third visit although, she never communicated that to me in the beginning. I was thinking she'd meet me in the middle and have me pay $75, but nope. And I let that go... Well... I started a "new series" with her and this is when it began to get weird. I would text her and she would be late responding or would hit me up the day before an appointment that I never scheduled. Or, she wouldn't remember when you came/didn't come (she keeps a really bad time sheet in a manila envelope in a large file cabinet). There was even one time I booked with her and the next day, her assistant never showed up which was a total inconvenience to me. She kept saying she would make up for it etc etc. and when she finally did... she tried to charge me $85?!?! I went through my phone and gave her each time I came etc. She was missing a visit (of course) which brought my total from $85 to $65 -- then I looked at her like "Ummmm, didn't you say you were going to give me a discount for the no-show incident." The staff member takes me back checks my weight and height and then takes me to the exam room, I look at the time its 9:20am, my appointment time, I'm like this is good! It is now 9:50 am and I still haven't seen the doctor although while sitting in the exam room for 30 minutes I did hear women laughing/talking including one of voice of the doctor because you can clearly differentiate her voice due to her accent. She finally shows up at 9:55 am saying hi! how can I help you? At this point I just give her second while not responding and just smiling, I guess I was waiting for her to say sorry for the wait or the delay, or something to acknowledge my wait but she doesn't so I tell her "unfortunately you can't help me anymore as it's been 35 minutes since I've been waiting in this room and my time is important to me."
