Let's just say if I could give zero stars I would, Horrible customer service especially the guys that work the front and Heather in management. The storage I rented and held all my furniture and personal belongings got flooded! Because of the s***y design of this place. I approached the guys in the office, who told me fill out a form and itemize all the damages and management will review it and resolve the situation. Well weeks went buy and come to find out the air heads in the front office never summited my paperwork! This is where Heather comes in,she initially apologized and said she will have it taken care of right away! Well guess who doesn't return phone calls or messages and must have fell off the face of the earth! That's right Heather! People do yourself a favor find another storage company, because this place is a rip off and management and employees are absolutely clueless,I have reached out to an attorney who is now handling it for me. read more

First and Foremost- Gustavo A., you don't need to respond to try to justify the terrible customer service and lack of responsibility Yolanda (fill in customer service agent) and Heather (management) offered in response to the elevator not working when Yolanda placed me in a second floor unit KNOWING the elevator was broken. Heather from management told me I had to pay for the unit although I didn't move anything in because I could have used the stairs. Why would I carry heavy boxes up stairs if I paid for a unit with an elevator. This is the second unit I tried to rent. The first one was full of water after it rained. ZERO stars!!!!Never use this business! My 77 year old mother has a unit here. She had trouble getting into her storage unit because the main door was bolted shut. She called several times to try and find out why she couldn't get in. Finally someone answered several hours later. Only to find out that someone had cut her lock off her unit. Apparently it happened over a month ago. No one called or any letters sent to us. No excuse. The unit was left open all this time! When she asked if police were called, if she could get the owners name or insurance company information the manager became rude and straight out nasty. She asked my mother if she was unhappy, she could vacate the unit today! My mom is 77! She can't move out on her own. The management said she is in charge of both local StorAmerica and she won't be yelled at and refused any help except to toss a used lock on the floor at my mom. I'm gonna go through her stuff when I get out to that area and if anything is missing, I will file a police report and follow up with legal action. This is terrible service. All it took was a phone call on the day it happened! Disgusting way to treat your senior customers! read more

Be aware that, even if you've been renting 3 storage units for over a year and give notice, you will not get partial months refunded. We moved one unit out around the 5th, one out on the 11th and the last one out around the 12th. We couldn't get any refunds. read more

Terrible, Sellout/Bought out & rates going up, had an issue and took cash in... "Ohh we don't take cash anymore" VERY INCONVENIENT. Two others were in line to vacate & i'd suggest you AVOID every StorAmerica & find better storage... I got a 8x40 for under $150 somewhere else. read more

They are awesome sauce! Been using them for awhile. Always clean, well-lit and unit is easy to get in/out from.

Location good for me, service was just good, facility excellent. Door opening instruction not explicit. Gave me the wrong code to enter. In my opinion the code could easily be duplicated by a crook. No code was offered for the locked portable toilet inside the gate. Closing time is not late enough, and no extension at any cost! read more

I think these days it is especially hard to find a business that has good customer service before and after they have taken your money. Kristi helped us and was so friendly. She explained everything very well and made me feel safe leaving my stuff there. They truly have the best prices - I did a lot of research. They have move-in specials and a truck available. My first review on Yelp and of all places..... on a self storage company. After searching the area for affordable storage, I called the one on Town Center Drive and was helped by Christy. I was planning on calling a few places before making what I thought would be a big undertaking, but decided to make the drive down and see the place like she had suggested. I got a full tour of the place, the rates were explained and I left with a good feeling that i could store my belongings in a safe, clean and affordable place. This place is terrible. My family and I were in there tonight cleaning out our storage grandmas storage. We didn't realize that it was 10 minutes to 7 so we packed up and went to leave. When we went to let in out code to get out it told us no exit after hours. The place had closed not even 5 minutes before us leaving. No employee came and did a check of the grounds or anything. My family and I were locked in. There was no emergency number posted either and we could not get a hold of any employee. Eventually had to call the police. Through a lot of phone time we finally got a hold of someone who could let us out. When they got there they made us feel like the idiots for being there after hours. Total bs way to run a business. read more

What an amazingly great experience I had here. I was helped by Kristi who made this an easy, efficient and affordable transaction. The facility is clean, very organized and has security cameras all over the place which I liked. She was very professional and personable. I was in and out with everything I needed in about a half an hour and was very pleased with this. She's definitely a great asset to this organization. read more

My sister passed away the beginning of March I have been dealing with the facility for over a month. I have been threatened of lien sale, I have dropped my sisters death certificate PERSONALLY (with my name listed as next of kin) off three times to two different facilities. I feel there is no end in site as to when I can retrieve the few items she owned. I have no issue paying for her items to be stored; however to be forced to pay a facility who won't allow me access is outrageous. There is no management number above the facility no one calls back nor is concerned about anything but a monthly payment. Be advised there is no management or customer concern. read more

DON'T EVER USE STORAMERICA!! They have no basic accounting skills. Got a bill for $50 and was told that i missed paying the $10 Protection Plan. This does not show anywhere on the invoice because "if it's not paid it doesn't show". My auto payment for $106 for the month of September was paid, but when i went in yesterday to tell them I had vacated the unit and was due a refund, was told that they "don't give refunds", and that "You (I) should have prorated the rent". They still want the $10 fee for the Protection Plan for the month of September. I told them they could stick that $10 fee. Am posting this here and will post it on their FB page and their corporate website. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! They are IDIOTS!! read more

I am writing a review for my mother and I because she's not very good with the internet or tech stuff .We rented a storage space at this location and it was rite by her house very convenient and the staff went out of there way to help us find the rite space for rite price . Stephanie was very helpful and went the extra mile to close Are account as we no longer needed to rent a space from then .. Was writing this as we were STUCK inside. Got to the gate at 6:55, apparently it self locks at 6:45. There was NO emergency number, NO one checked the grounds prior to closing. Went to where I thought the residence was, no answer. Ended up having to call dispatch and they sent the fire department. Apparently we're not the only ones that have been locked in here. The previous storage facility here had different hours AND an emergency number; not happy that people are able to wander around here unbeknownst to the facility and we had to waste the fire departments time. I miss Extra Space storage. read more

Very disappointed with their customer service since they took over Extra Space Storage in Apple Valley. Couldn't pay bill during the first 3 days of the month since they took it over. Also tried to a cess by entering entry code and was denied. Never had these kind of issues with Extra Space. Poor tranition, no one available to speak with after hours or Sunday. Have a business and need the same 24 hour access that I had with previous owner. Unable to get necessary supplies due to denied access! read more

This was previously an XtraSpace storage facility. Everyone that worked there was fantastic, friendly and helpful. It was sold to another company (along with several other XtraSpace facilities). XtraSpace had an 'on property' manager 24/7 and longer hours (6 AM to 10 PM). I guess StorAmerica, in order to cut costs and increase the all important profit margin, they did away with the On Property manager, and cut the operating hours. Also, because of a change in the computer and phone systems, my account was overcharged, then finally got it corrected with a credit. The people are okay, but I rarely see them around the facility making checks like the previous management did. With that, the only reason I store there is it is close to home. I'm still considering moving back to an XtraSpace storage farther away. read more
