I wasn't even there two months when I received a letter stated a 34% rent increase . $170 to $221 in just two months . I didn't have a move in special . $170 was the agreed fee for rent . They said it might go up a few dollars but didn't sound like 34%. I moved out immediately after this letter . I'm looking for a long commitment for my storage needs but this just raises so many red flags if you're deciding on renting from right-space storage . Just stay away and look somewhere else . They will price gouge as soon as two months . I moved out today as yesterday I found a cleaner place and I'm now paying $146 for a 10x30 with a six month guarantee . As I always pull in , it's always a scary feeling trying to make a turn while cars are driving 100 miles an hour. Didn't know how dangerous it was to get into this location before I moved in . I have my signal on and they still just go around or sit and honk at me waiting to pull into the location . Extremely unsafe location to pull into the storage location. There is an attachment to this complaint to prove to you that it goes up a few months after move in and not just a few dollars either . Just stay away , my bad experience is enough. Unit was broken into 3 times in less than a year, I was left with almost nothing. Cut the cords off everything, stole a bunch of stuff, completely destroyed everything, somehow they just keep letting it happen, you would think they would upgrade security or have someone there over night watching but they don't care, it's not worth the money, they got multiple desks out of the unit.... Be warned , DO NOT RENT HERE . My rented unit here got broken into YESTERDAY today is Saturday. Tish the site manager just called me a few minutes ago to inform me that I was broken into right before their closing time. She said they were busy cleaning up after the mess, like that's my property that was stolen, Mind you they won't be open tomorrow! So I have to wait until Monday to even file a police report. Why would they not call the police before cleaning up a crime scene? And why do I have to be notified a day after I was broken into , a few minutes before they close for the weekend by this very rude manager? This is all too suspicious.I will be pursuing all legal action next week after we assess the damages, hopefully they haven't covered after their negligence . So when you're in the process of having your dream home built and designed to your liking, you buy what would complement your style and you go with your interior designer to purchase your furniture and all that is inquired to make your home a reality. So I ended up having to get one of these thingys and what a major pain in the neck to deal with. Now I loved the old management that use to work here they were very attentive and always on the ball with things. Since new ownership took over this place and its customers service has gone to s**t ! I arrive to the facility on September 10th do put some things in my storage unit and I notice a my lock is gone. I thinking they didn't receive my payment and they put there lock on it so I head to the front desk and ask them what's going on with my unit and they state they had a break in. Said they called me and left a voicemail, they Had only called once and didn't call the emergency number that was on the contract. They didn't call the police to file a police report, they have a camera but it's about 40-50ft down so it will be hard to see. I had to get a new storage unit down the way cause this one was very unprofessional. Good day. Today I have vaycated my storage unit as projected to right space storage on the 23rd of July through email. My decision to depart from you facility is a direct result of right space storages business ability and ethics management. The United States is truly a good place. However, as with all good places, there are people within that have the ability to make it "great". People with sound ethics and ability are those which produce "great". My relationship with Right space storage began as good but then evolved to being "great" but then became disappointing. Upon commencement of our relationship I entered into a mutual agreement based on provision and renumeration of a service. Right space storage ultimately began to breach the terms of our agreement(s). Breach no.1 I entered into an agreement to rent a PO box. To make this po box of use to myself, i must be able to actually access this po box. However, with the closure of the office due to the Covid 19 virus, I was unable to access my PO box. Therefore a service with terms that I had agreed to were not being provided and thus not fully rendered to myself. It was not reasonable to continue to pay for a service that has not been provided. The PO box is a business of necessity for myself. The PO box should have been accessable to me. The matter was made worse given my discovery that my wife had continued paying for this service for two months without my knowledge. In the third month I made it clear as to my intent to not pay. A late letter had been sent to my contact address with a additional fee of $25 being added. Rather stupid this was. Breach number 2. I entered into an agreement for unit E14 which was inclusive of my having access at 7am untill 7pm. Recently upon my arrival to the facility at 7 am I was denied access. A notice had been placed on the key pad stating that due to security reasons access had been adjusted with entry only being able to be made beginning at 9 am. So I sat and waited for two hours. These two hours resulted in my two employees whom were at a construction site, to sit and wait for two hours for the delivery of materials. A financial loss was made to which I had to pay for my workers being stationary. I had to pay money. A total of 4 hours at a hourly rate of $25 per hour. A total of $100. This was Right space storages fault. I made agreements with my workers in exchange for monetary renumeration and as a man of integrity, I had to follow through. My own time was wasted also. Two hours at $110 per hour which is my hourly rate. A total of $220. Right space storage is responsible for this. Now, if I were not so nice a man then I would go to make a small claims claim with an inflated hourly rate and right space storage would be made to pay either through loss of earnings or a provision of service to amend this breach of terms. Breach number 3. Upon my stating that the adjustment of the contract was not righteous, I was informed that if I had a business licence then I could gain access to the regular hours to which I agreed to in the contract. This is discrimination. This is a breach of contract. Quote: "When a breach of contract occurs or is alleged, one or both of the parties may wish to have the contract enforced on its terms, or may try to recover for any financial harm caused by the alleged breach. If a dispute over a contract arises and informal attempts at resolution fail, the most common next step is a lawsuit". End quote. I agreed to access that was 7 am to 7pm, 7 days a week at a cost of $277 per month. This equates to a cost of $9.11 per day. Or 75 cents per hour. Presently with the reduced hours of access I receive a value of $6.77 per day. A difference of $2.34 per day. Instead of $277 worth of value I now am only receiving $205 worth of value. A difference of $72 per month. Being that the value of the unit is now only worth $6.77 per day then I am eligible for 10.6 days free. This does not take into account the monetary costs which I incurred as stated. Conclusion... You, right space storage do not just get to do as you please. In business, people depend on you. Dependability produces trust and trust makes a relationship last. Right space storage has proven to break my trust. There can no longer be a mutual relationship if right space storage shows a total disregard for myself. As the considerate person that I am, I always swept the areas within a 40 foot radius of my unit door, so as to clean any soil or residual that had been dropped as the result of my loading and unloading activities. This was out of respect for our relationship. Right space storage is a disgrace. Instead of adding another employee to start at 7 am verses 9 am and finishing at 7 pm, Rightspace storage has chosen to manipulate to public and "take" tens of thousands of dollars worth of value from the public. I gave it 2 stars for very nice staff however the facility itself I did not like they close too early on Saturday when is a day off for my husband to help me move heavy stuff completely closed on Sunday so not good weekend hours which was inconvenient I don't like the in and out access it had a long access code to enter and exit my unit entrance was ALWAYS locked so very inconvenient for me to access my storage I always had to take the extra step to call the office to open for me when they didn't answer then had to drive around back to office or to find maintenance uhhh super frustrating!!I would not recommend for this reason now the pros it is located pretty Well and reasonably priced which is the only reason I used this facility Was the price needless to say I'm extremely happy I vacated the unit it was a royal pain in the TUKKAS read more

Apparently they've had over a hundred units burglarized since the beginning of this year. 8 of them were last week and 6 this past weekend including mine. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. What started out to be a horrible weekend move was made perfect by Right Space and their amazingly awesome staff. I had first gone to a competitor down the street where I had booked a space online. Called to make an appointment for a certain day and time to rent it and when I showed up it was gone and they had no other large units available. I had also gone online to inquire about a space with Right space and I walked in got the online special and had a wonderful experience. Fast forward to the next day. I go down the street again to pick up the moving truck for which I gave a credit card and long story short they would not help me. I went back to Right Space because I knew they also rented moving trucks, explained my horrible situation and the staff could not be more helpful, got me a truck and went out of their way to turn a very bad day into an easy peasy move for me.
