Well we didn't know the truck came from Canada and went through 3 dealerships although it had the right entry forms it had an Arkansas title. Went to dmv and they could not issue a title so I had to send to Jeff city. Well the temp tags run out Sunday. Went to rightway here in Joplin mo and told them about the title screw up and said I need another temp tags run well the bastards would NOT give me one they say they don't do that. Yes I was pissed. Talked to Fred and we decided to go to dmv. They sympathized with me but said they would have to wait until the title came back as they couldn't do anything but did say the dealership should have given me another temporary tag. Did I say I am pissed. So now I have a vehicle and use it. Don't do any business with RightWay. Looked at reviews and they have a 2.0 rating wish we would have gone somewhere else. 4 hours ago New I was in need of a new vehicle & decided to look up somewhere local. Right across from the DMV I saw this place. Yes it had a few minor things however I said it was workable since the engine sounded good and had low miles. Cracked windshield they replaced it and air conditioning knobs they said they would too. However the manager Jay kept stressing that oh I don't have to do any of this since "it's a used vehicle." I did ask them to deep clean it well since I have asthma and the previous owners were smokers. Unfortunately the guy who cleans their vehicles is possibly a gentleman that does some heavy drugs and can't see to clean anything correctly. He went over the vehicle twice yet I took a diaper wipe to the center console and it was filthy. Called once again because I was not satisfied with the cleaning and Jay said he would have the same guy go over it a 3rd time. If you see your worker can't clean correctly the first two times why put your business name on the line. No. I no longer want the vehicle and will go elsewhere because going with my own kind forever lets me down time and time again. Just had someone to come wanting to detail the car and he said excuse me miss but what the heck did he clean. Took him 5 hours to clean it and $160 I didn't have extra. read more

I went to the Burbank location but conveniently for them, there is not many places to leave them a review for that specific location. So I was called by someone named "Jimmy" who talked me into booking an appointment for today. I told him the reason I hadn't been in there was because I couldn't afford an expensive Uber ride there and then back if I didn't get approved. He said, "we already got you approved and I have ran all your information already". I told him I spent over $600 on Ubers/Lyfts last month. He said, "that is crazy! Do not worry, we will definitely get you in a car". I told him I cannot afford to waste time and money because I need this money to get to and from work. He said he would definitely have me driving off in a vehicle. I said, did you see my credit and history? He said, "we have seen it all. We just need you to get in here and we will have you driving off in a car". He guaranteed me that as long as I got there, he would have me drive off in a vehicle. Well here I am, spending $55 dollars to get home after spending $50 to get there. And no car. They wanted $2500 down. And most of the cars they had were worn down and some had bullet holes in them. I am so devastated and I do not even know how I am going to afford to get to work and back for the next 2 weeks. This was the cruelest thing I have ever went through. To have someone use my weaknesses and struggles against me to get me into a store and then not even help me. DO NOT GO HERE! I left the dealer with the back light not working, hoping this was something minor that could be fixed. Then I realized the heat didn't work. The car stopped functioning all together shortly after me having it. I purchased this vehicle on November 25th, 2021. I put down so much money for nothing!! I took my daughter here regret it , Very Desapointed She bought a car here supposedly had been 70 checked point inspection plus they show us the carfax that it was clear of accident. On the first day we heard a small noise on the breaks they told us it has been parked there on the cold. Story short took to my mechanic, found out it was in a accident right side wheel of course stupid us after signing papers. They never mentioned about the accident. Told Rightway about it they said if we wanted to change it or they could fix it for us. We decided to be fix thinking they would do a good job . They did an awful job plus they didn't fix subframe . Went back to let him know about the subframe that they did not fixed, Manager told he won't spend the money on the subframe. He said they fixed the other part because he wanted to be polite with customers that he for a good deed. No, it is their job to fix it, we bought this car with 6 month or 6000 miles dealer warranty not as is. Please people dont buy cars from here All A Lie,if you do please take your own mechanic or to the Shop before signing any paper. Be Aware I don't want no one go through this too especially single mom with young teenagers like me. Here a picture normal welded bolt on the Subframe holding the control arm and the second picture is the cheap job they did . Instead putting a new Subframe before anything, they just put a washer and the bolt . . Went again to fix the issued because the job they did is giving more problems of course they said they can't spend more money on it. My nephew finance a 2010 Chevy Impala it was something he always wanted. He put down $600 and his note was $361. Three days later they call him I wanted the car back. Because the bank said that he wasn't on his job long enough. Yeah right. So he made an arrangement to turn in the car. So he went to jewels in cash this check and came back out they end up shutting the car off. So he called them back and ask them why did they shut the car off. They denied it. So he end up leaving the car up there, because it didn't start. And now they want to take their time given him the down payment back. This gets zero stars. My car is a piece of shit. The first week I had to get the brakes replaced. I have had the car for less than a month and the windshield wipers went out. A month and half in, the water pump, control arm, ball joint, and thermostat went out. A week later the tire went flat OUT OF NO WHERE! They are lying When they tell you all of their cars are serviced. This car has not had any work done for who knows how long. Now I'm stuck with a car that constantly needs work, wasting my money, losing money from missing work, and still have to pay a ridiculous amount in a car note! ITS NOT WORTH IT! Gateway auto sales, avoid like the plague! I had bad credit and really needed a car, I was told I can only test drive two different cars. The first was a Ford Focus which was beat up and the transmission was making sounds and about to go out. The second was a 2008 Cobalt, which is what I chose. With their financing, the car would cost me $12000 and is worth maybe $2000 in good condition. This car, I came to discover, was under water (maybe Louisiana floods?) The starter is rusted, the fuel line was so rusted it was leaking fuel! The car also has bad ball joints and we were riding a newborn and two year old in it! It will not even pass emissions. This place will get you into a car, but it will be unsafe and could have caught fire with me, my wife, and our two kids in it. Go to a reputable dealership, not one that sells you cars actually dangerous to drive. The finance company, Gateway financial, are also corrupt. They repossessed this piece of junk after not even being a month behind! Now they want $1500 to get it back! Do not make the same mistake my wife and I made, you will pay for it in many ways! I started by looking at their website. They claimed to have beautiful newer cars with lower mileage. They don't have prices online, or at the dealer really. So my mom and I went into their 'trailer' on Friday July 3rd around 430pm. They were swamped, so I didn't expect anyone to help me right away (and that is fine). We looked around the lot for about an hour and I found a few cars that I was interested in. We went into their office to get more information on the cars and possibly test drive one or all of them. The lady helping me wanted to run my credit before giving any prices or letting me test drive. So she began this process and literally kept walking away to help another customer outside. We waited about 30 minutes and was not updated where she went or anything. At this point she had my credit check and my license in hand so I couldn't even leave. Finally we tracked her down outside and she gave me my stuff. In between all this I spoke with a few other customers and they all said that the cars had their problems and were over priced as to what you would find at a dealer (bad credit place so that is what I'd expect though). They don't have prices, it's what the bank says you can afford for a price. And you can't pick any car you want, you can choose 10-8 year old cars when you are on the first step of their credit rebuilding tier. In 3 years you bring back that car and get a 5 year old car (second tier). And in 3 years you bring back that one and should have good enough credit to go to a good dealer (third tier). read more

I have two supersized sons both play sports and I am a VERY active parent, I was insulted and wondered if he listened at all to what I had told him. After speaking with the finance manager (Camille) she said let them work for me. She found the car I wanted I returned the next day to pick it up drove around and that very night the car would not start. I spoke with them and they sent me to their auto people who said it needed a alarm clicker I brought the car to them that following Monday to get the clicker. Took the car again and the same problem occurred I have a car that wont start. I called three times and no one returned my call so I went back to the dealer and let them know I did not want the car it would not start. They told me they would fix the car but now I have a bad taste from the company overall. I spoke with the finance company who told me after I returned the car they had submitted my documents. I spoke with Tim and Camille, Tim called me the following Friday and told me I would be released from the contact and they would keep the down payment. I received a phone call the following Friday from the General Manager telling me My car was ready to be picked up I told him I did not have a car with them and Tim had told me I was released from the contract intern he told me it was my car and Tim could not release Me from my contact, I signed the contract and it was my car and I could come pick it up Saturday while he was there. I told him I did not want a car from a company I didn't trust He told Me in so many words I have no choice but to take the car they had financed me and I was under contract. I had been to several dealerships who would not work with me at all. My situation wasn't the best as I had totaled my vehicle about a month before and there was still a small balance left on the loan (never heard of gap until after the accident, go figure). Anyway, I had a couple of people suggest Rightway. I will admit, some of the reviews almost kept me from going in, but I'm glad I did. I went in on a Friday afternoon around 3:30. They were kind of busy, but someone helped me in a matter of minutes. Since I had inquired online when he pulled me up in the system he told me that I was Tony's customer. Tony was with someone at the moment, but constantly updated me (ex: I'll be done in about 10 minutes, etc.) and even before that, the other salesman engaged in conversation. When my daughter and I got to Tony, she asked for markers and he happily obliged. We started the process and Tony was very helpful, as was his manager, Camille. I ended up having to leave to tend to some other things before we could reach a deal but I was assured by Camille that my old loan could be resolved and she could get me in a car. The next day I went back and Tony was off, but Tim was a great help. I told Camille I did not want to go over a certain price point and she made sure that I didn't. Again, the next day I had my children and instead of acting like they were a bother, everybody was very nice and accommodating. As a previous reviewer said, they are a dealership specializing in bad credit so unless it's something you can afford, they will not sell it to you. I ended up driving off the lot in a 2014 Nissan Sentra. I was very happy with my service as well as my purchase. Yes, your credit score will be reviewed but it is to make sure that they do not sell anything to you that, according to the documents you provide, might not be able to afford. I did not end up with an 8-10 year old car but instead a 2 year old car and I was probably at the second tier.
