Terribly dishonest people Car broke down for the first time 22 hours after purchase had it towed. They said they would "refund my money absolutely " were their exact words and the next day when I was going to collect my cash he refused and claimed there was nothing wrong with it. We purchased a car and a few days later it won't stay running. Brought to one place auto shop they found a huge rats nest that the mine also chewed up a bunch of plastic. The shop stayed to give the car back as it probably has a bad electrical problem if they inspected the car before it was sold crestwood auto auction would of seen this issue. I called them and they basically said we are on our own they did not care because it's our problem and they never returned my calls. The car is now at the dealer ship for olmost 3 days the dealer can't even figure out the issue. They say they would have to trace ever single wire to see if the mice chewed up wires somewhere or the engine is shot. We spent 8400 for the car. And they won't take it back. We will be getting a lawer we have all proper documentation proving there was never an inspection done before selling it to the customer. They are shady people they respond saying it's not a customer review or something but I'm was a customer and he refused to help us. Update we now have been to two different mechanics including the dealer we spent another 1500 for a new pcm computer and it still dies out the dealership said the motor has to be shot. No one can figure out why it dies. The car is now a lawn ornament since we can't drive it. read more

They literally took perfect pictures of the car where it WASN'T damaged. Avoided all defects in the picture to mislead customers and make them come out to look at it. So, before I came to Crestwood Auto Auction, I had researched cars generally, as well as pulled the Carfax report for two cars on their lots specifically. I also read reviews on this dealer in advance. My original review was quite lengthy, so I have shortened it to hopefully be more useful, Pros: 1. Many cars to choose from for any pocketbook. High-mileage/low cost, or low-mileage/higher cost. 2. Inventory updated often. 3. You deal with the owner, not a salesperson. 4. Low-/no-pressure. 5. Prices are very fair (Check Edmonds, KBB, or other car dealers to compare). 6. Extended Warranty available if concerned. 7. On-site financing available. 8. Great business hours. 9. May have your mechanic go there to check a car. 10. Responsive to email; return calls in a timely manner. 11. No-hassle test-drive process. Cons: 1. Cars are not "certified" used cars. They are sold "As-is", but you can consider an extended warranty for additional cost. 2. Car detailing is not exceptional, but they do a fair job with this 3. Overall first-impression upon pulling up to the lot may concern you as this is not a fancy place at all. Comments: This experience was unique for me. I am accustomed to purchasing cars from a dealership or through a nationwide used car franchise. Both of those give you a feeling of "red carpet" treatment when you enter their shiny, sparkling showrooms and their brightly-lit car lots. However, I have also experienced the stereotypical "used-car salesman" treatment at these places, which places me on edge and questioning of their motives and integrity. This place does not have all of that. It is similar to purchasing a car outright from a person selling it at his/her home. However, you have some extra services that an individual seller cannot offer, such as financing, some knowledge about the car, extended warranty, etc. Also, an individual selling his/her car wants to sell that one car - badly!. Here, they want to sell cars, yes, but they also seem to truly care about the customer having a good experience. You deal with the owner/manager, not a commissioned salesman. Therefore, it appears that they are more up-front about a car's condition if they are aware of anything negative.Keep in mind that the cars are used, and many of them will end up being sold at their dealer auction at some point. Carfax reports are limited, so you need to spend some time checking out the car as you should with any used vehicle. as a car lover it makes me sad that people can treat cars this way. Out of any car dealer I have been to this takes the cake of having the most abused cars. A Land Rover Discovery I saw looked like it was very robust in the past but the headliner looked like a cat had gotten to it, the center console was extremely wobbly and lots of other parts where falling apart. Another car- an S-class, was just as abused with torn leather, doors that felt like they would fall apart soon. A red Jaguar XJ sat there with all tires deflated. Very low mileage but also mistreated. According to Car Gurus it has sat there for a year! Some of the cars even longer-- over 500 days. They are asking $3400 for the Jag... Of course they take the best pictures of the car. Without showing the rust... The car that seemed reasonably taken care of seemed like the exception. Most of these cars where seriously abused. I did not deal with any of the sales people. All the cars on the lot are open and no one came out the time I was there, so I can not say anything about that, only about the condition of the cars. read more

Horrible experience. Photos were completely different than what the car actually looked like. Called before coming to set up a test drive, when we got there the tire was flat and the battery dead. Every car I looked at on this lot had issues, issues that people dont want to fix including Crestwood. I finally settled on the 2007 Audi A4, they agreed to fix the massive oil leak and the car not starting problem, if purchased. On the day I arrived to pick up the vehicle the car was dead, it wouldn't start, so they replaced the battery. I took the car home and the next morning it was dead again (no start), I texted Crestwood because they have no phone number to call directly. I was told I would have to pay for them to look at the issue, even though they agreed to fix it, if I purchased the vehicle. My last interaction with Crestwood: I went to pick up my plates in my father's car because mine is undriveable, I asked again will you fix the starting issue, they now say there mechanic doesn't do electrical and I would have to take it to what they call a Audi Specialist for a starting issue? How did his mechanic look at the issue before? This is just an example of the constant lies you will be told, I have transcripts of multiple conversations that are filled will contradictory statements and flat out lies. They promise to make sure you have a driveable car but once you pull off the lot they operate like a auction. I'm in debt 7038.00 with a vehicle I can't even drive, I dont recommend buying from here if you want piece of mind and reliable vehicle. The cars look good but they're not! read more
