I called Rigo's pest prevention on the weekend, desperate for someone to help address a scorpion problem we've discovered in our new home. Rigo himself answered and he was incredibly professional and helpful. He did admit he wouldn't be able to get anyone to our house until Monday, but he did answer a lot of my questions over the phone and gave me a few suggestions to get me through the rest of the weekend. At the end of the conversation Rigo thanked me for my business in a way that was humble and honest. I didn't even get to meet him face to face, but I could tell how appreciative he was. On Monday Paul called very early and asked what would be a good time to meet at the house. I was thrilled at how professional Paul was over the phone. When he arrived Paul spent a good deal of time answering my questions, pointing things out that could be updated/fixed, and he gave me suggestions on how to do things to my new home to prevent pests. Then he spent an hour or so working both outdoors and indoors. I signed up for the every 3 months treatment and I trust that Rigo's will make my home a safer place. Called to have them do an exterior maintenance spray and trap a packrat that is nesting in our backyard. For the packrat, mouse traps (the cheapest ones at Home Depot) were set up. The mousetraps did not catch anything and the guy came back and picked them up but did not call after or let us know what other options there were. At the end of the day, spent $175 on an external spray and mouse traps and still have the initial problem we called about. Disappointed in their customer service and would not recommend. There are cheaper options that provide better service. read more

Hired Rigo's to treat our concrete foundation and perform a termite inspection prior to replacing our flooring for an upcoming home sale. All was done as planned and received a clean certificate and guarantee. A month later, during the home inspection for the sale of the house, the inspector found 6 spots of obvious termite activity, that, by his estimation, had been there for quite some time. The buyer would not agree to allow Rigo's to treat the spots due to loss of confidence, and I had to hire another company upon the buyer's request to re-inspect and re-treat the entire house, costing me an additional $900. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Rigo's after this event. read more

I have been remiss in writing a review for Rigo Pest Prevention and for Eddie Pennington. Time gets away and the holidays, etc. Eddie knows his stuff and doesn't judge. A very good quality to have! I have a 91 year old mother and her house was being visited by German roaches. He came when he said he he would and set up appointments in advance. It took 3 visits while explaining what he was doing each time and letting me know what needed to be done between visits. Each week roaches were less and less. I went away for the holidays and when I came back, I checked the usual places with glue strips and nothing was there. The price was fair compared to other companies. My friend who has rentals said that I was getting a deal. I would recommend this company and use them again if needed. read more
