The only thing that I think really needs improvement, keeping the rice fresh, was the eel. It was not good. I don't know what they can do to make it better. Maybe get a different kind or cook it better I don't know but that eel was not good. Oh I almost forgot that my son also ordered a teriyaki chicken which he couldn't finish because the chicken was very dry and overcooked. This was the first time I can remember him not finishing his chicken because he didn't like it. Another thing for them to work on I guess. Overall our visit was a good one. The atmosphere was nice. A whole fish, fried until its soul ascended, left bones so clean they could be used in ritual. Angels wept; I salted accordingly. The risotto arrived next, not on a plate but in a chalice. Each bite stirred marrow and memory, comfort and command. My sea legs stood straighter. My resolve thickened. Libations flowed--freely, fervently, faultlessly.
