Out on the pier on a gorgeous day, this is PEAK Florida. We wandered onto the pier and headed straight for the thatched roof at the end. We ordered hamachi and a Point Break Roll (I think that's what it was!). I loved how beautiful the presentation was. Our bartender was friendly and made us feel right at home. We opted to use the pier parking which was $10 for the day. The meter parking is $6.35 ish for one hour. If you're in Cocoa Beach, this is the place to check out! read more

We would love to go the the Rikki Tiki Tavern, however it is open about 10% of the time. I think the rule is if the wind is above 5 mph, they don't open. I am not a weather guru but it is on the Ocean. So if you want to see if they are open, no sense calling as NO ONE answers the phone there, I even tried the option to reserve a banquet space. So you think you could check the Cocoa Beach Pier webcam, NOPE, it has been out of service for years. That seems odd since Westgate is very expensive and makes A LOT of money...fix the camera. On a good note, the happy hour is awesome, 4-7pm M-F, half off beers and I think some drinks too. Timing is good because after 4pm Westgate stops gouging $30 for parking. I would suggest to just go for drinks as the food is meh and also very expensive. read more

We loved it at this amazing tiki hut tavern at the end of Cocoa Beach Pier! What fun! Everyone was happy and the view is awesome!! We had been driving all day from Miami so it was good to stop here for a couple of minutes and have something cold to drink. We had a Margarita and the Miami Vice. Every seat has a good view. The bartender was fun with a good sense of humor. We already had dinner reservations in Jacksonvile later that evening so we didn't order any food here. We only stayed a half hour because,we had to move on but plan to go back later this year to see Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Center. Do stop by here when you visit. read more

My cruise stopped in Port Canaveral, Florida and I decided to visit Cocoa beach pier. This beach was really close to the port and it it's also popular because of the beautiful pier! At the end of this pier was this tropical tiki bar! I grabbed some tropical cocktails like Cocoa Set Sail which had Blue Curaçao mixed with Pina Colada and Mango Madness which had rum and peach schnapps! Although they were beautiful looking and fruity tasting, they unfortunately didn't taste of alcohol at all. Also, the service is fast but I was given a bit of attitude when I asked about getting up from my seat and walking around the pier with my drinks (drinks are allowed on the beach). Went to Cocoa Beach by the pier to hang out for my birthday weekend, and my wife and I decided to check out Rikki Tiki Tavern at the end of the Cocoa Beach Pier. It was such a fun experience to relax on the beach, then walk up to the tavern--just a quick 2-minute stroll from our tent! We ordered the Blackened Grouper sandwich, and it was super tasty. The fries were shaped differently but cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We also shared a Beach & Boozy Bucket, and I definitely recommend paying the extra $3 for the additional shot of rum--totally worth it. Our waitress, Tina, was nice and friendly, making the experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back, hopefully to catch a rocket launch and enjoy more of the great food! read more

Menu is the same as pier 60. This place is great on a sunny day. Good music, great breeze, relaxing atmosphere and not that busy. Was able to sit right away, even on a Saturday lunch. Blacked grouper was well spiced, fresh but nothing special. The battered fries and the strawberry cake was the best, highly recommend. The nacho mojo was a lot and heavy. I came to Rikki Tiki after noticing there was a restaurant at the way end of the pier. I didn't realize that whether you sit at a table or sit at the bench area that faces the ocean a server will assist you, which is great and allows you to not have to walk to the bar constantly if you can't get a table. It is first come first serve seating, and definitely can get packed on a nice day. They do have a separate sushi menu so definitely ask if interested. I got the sushi sampler and also a separate tuna roll, and no complaints here. You can even luck out and see some ocean wildlife, and that particular day I was able to see dolphins nearby. We stopped for lunch at Rikki Tiki while we were in Cocoa Beach. We were there a year ago and it was pretty good. The views are amazing. The drinks were good. The food was awful. I had a pulled pork sandwich. The pork was very dry, and covered in a mustard sauce. The word 'mustard' was not listed on the menu, or I would not have gotten it. I had the garlic Parmesan pasta salad. It, too, was very dry and had no flavor other than the garlic. My husband had a turkey club which was mediocre. He also had Cole slaw which was, amazingly, very dry. It was just cabbage with very little mayonnaise. We won't be back. read more

I liked this place mostly because of the beautiful view over the water. I thought the ahi tuna poke nachos were not a very big serving for the price. But they were quite delicious and I loved the tuna. The margaritas with grand marnier $10 were good but a tad sweet. Our servers at the bar were very upbeat and fun. We moved to a table later and the server there was not as attentive but just ok. It is a super touristy environment (duh it's cocoa beach) but I don't mind. For 2 people we ended up paying $73 before tip for two main meals, an extra side, one smoothie, and two beers. We ordered 2 drafts beers and a Strawberry/Passionfruit virgin smoothie (REALLY good). for our meals we had the pork butt mac and cheese with onion rings on it and a crab cake sandwich. The mac and cheese was very creamy and delicious, but it was a little pricey at $16 given the portion was a little small. but overall the food was great. Their menu is the same as Pier 62 (even said pier 62 at the bottom) Given that it's January and the off season we had no trouble getting a table. Service was good. On a steamy Florida summer afternoon, the Riki Tike Tavern on the Cocoa Beach wharf is one of the few places you can escape the heat and humidity without retreating to the air-conditioning of your car or house. As you walk past the other restaurants towards the end of the wharf, a delightful breeze greets you as the grass-covered hut comes into view. We were lucky enough to score a table on the seaside of the Tavern and were able to watch surfers catch waves right underneath us as we waited for our drinks. When the food arrived, it was exactly as you would hope in a venue like this - a perfectly crisp Fried fish sandwich along with some fries - washed down with a local IPA that was also excellent. If only half stars were a choice, I debated on giving this spot 3 or 4 stars but 3 is just too harsh while a 4 star is generous. I went with the later as the service was great and what a view! I've always gone for the fruitiest drink when I go there because it's such a island vibe on the water with the ocean air stinging your skin. It's wonderful! The shrimp and crab dip was cold, so be warned if you expect it to be warm (like I did) regardless very tasty for its simple appearance. The server immediately came over and took our drink order. The drinks we got were frozen and fruity, perfect for the beach! I got the blackened grouper sandwich ($17) which came with a HUGE piece of fresh grouper with delicious flavor. It also came with a side of some sort of garlic mayo, which was very tasty. The piece of fish was so big I ended up having to eat my 'sandwich' with a fork, but it was worth it! It also came with a side of beer battered sidewinder fries which were the perfect amount of crispy and flavorful. My friend ordered the shrimp roll ($16) which she was very satisfied with. Our waitress checked on us quite often and was very attentive to our needs. Food came out very quickly as well.
