Starting with the service, the bar at Waves was great. The bartender was so nice and friendly, chatting with us and keeping our glasses filled. We visited two nights in a row while staying at the hotel and she welcomed us back the next night as if we were old friends. We chose the crab cakes from the happy hour menu. They were really tasty. Not a lot of filler, which I loved. I could've eaten an order myself. For dinner we shared the ribeye... 17 ounces! The accompaniments were creative and yummy... I loved the carrot swirls... and the side of macaroni and cheese was soooo good. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful. The holiday decor added to the experience. We agreed that we would definitely return when in the area. read more

Waves Craft Bar Kitchen is the type of restaurant you go to because you're staying at the hotel and just don't want to go anywhere else. If I was a local, I would never come to this place. The 14 ounce ribeye was good and the 8 once filet was really gross. read more

Restaurant is located at a hotel. The phone for dinner reservations is the hotel front desk. We had a party of 10 and tried both on-line and calling for dinner reservations and when we arrived no reservation was on the books. The second day we tried calling again and were assured by the front desk the restaurant manager booked our party (now for 12). When we arrived, again, no reservation on the books. We did luckily find a bar- top table, and fortunately the food was good Credit to the kitchen), but the service was a shameful mess. This hotel has a long standing world wide reputation for service. Extending the same work ethic to this in-house eatery would be nice. read more

Sat at the bar. Very nice decor and lighting looking out at the lounge area outside. Ordered the clams, charred Caesar salad and a strawberry daiquiri. The service was good even though the bartender had to service the tables too. He recommended the salad and it was very good. The clams were good but not as flavorful as I expected. There were two unopened clams in it for which I knew not to try and eat. I'd recommend the chef take them out before serving. Overall good experience but things could have been better. Will try again later in my trip. Maybe I'll try the steak next. I really wanted to like this as the staff is amazing but when I came back for dinner my food was sub par. The salmon was over cooked and lacking flavor, the artichoke hearts still had their thorns, the bacon was old, the carrots shriveled and the Mac n cheese also lacking depth in flavor. read more

Located inside the Hilton hotel. Very chic ambiance and cool presentation of dishes and drinks.

0 stars for service, 4 stars for food so we'll meet in the middle. The slowest service I think I've ever had. It, no exaggeration, took over an hour to get drinks, 1.5 hour for appetizers, and we finally got entrees after being seated for 2.5 hours. I recommend going during to day for a drink and an app, but honestly better off just doing that at the outside tiki. The server was nice but kept making excuses when we watched the only bartender (on a Saturday night!) make drinks for people who just walked up to the bar while we had been waiting for an hour. I had to literally walk up to the lobby to purchase pastries to hold us over. I don't know if it's a staffing issue or what, but could not recommend less. read more

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. we started with the mushroom flatbread that was perfectly executed, crispy bottom and just the right mix of garlic and cheese. I had the ribeye, my partner had the filet and son had the pork belly with scallops. the steaks were done perfectly. son loved the pork belly. the scallops were a bit on the fishy side. for sides, one had a house salad and two of us opted for the roasted potato. the three of us could have easily shared one order of potatoes. they were delicious. the salad was bright with medley grape tomatoes. The boys opted for chocolate cake and key lime pie for dessert. Both were well done, but we told the server that we're still partial to key west key lime pie. Our server, Julio, was knowledgeable and very friendly, as was the hostess (unfortunately I missed her name). Would definitely recommend and will likely eat here again. Thank you Waves! read more

Staying at Hilton ocean front hotel in Cocoa Beach stuck in hotel waiting for Hurricane Milton to pass. I had to eat in hotel as all restaurants closed. Tell me how much would you pay for this (See Picture ). I can't believe they charge $25 for something I would expect to see at a food truck for $10 and even then I would feel aggrieved. It looks like it has been created by an apprentice cook on his first week in the job after working at Subway. This is supposed to be a high class hotel why do they allow such poor standards in the restaurant. I know they can do better I've eaten at the Hilton up the road in their Starlight Restaurant and the standard was way better. So to the meal itself it wasn't bad at least it was hot not like warm as so many restaurants serve it. Not sure about the cold shredded carrot I'm sure they could substitute a different cooked vegetable to compliment. The chicken teriyaki was tasty with a nice kick rice was ok, only two sprigs of broccoli (is it that expensive !!) On a positive the staff were excellent especially as they had to stay overnight in the hotel due to the storm so kudos for the sacrifice. Would I eat here again ? Not if I can help it. read more

What a wonderful dinner and drinks we had here last night at the bar with amazing service from Marlene! We are staying nearby and wanted something in walking distance. I usually avoid hotel restaurants and we were actually headed to a different restaurant but my husband mentioned craft cocktails and we redirected! We started with a smoked Old Fashioned and Smoky Mezcal Margarita. I loved their little smoking box for the drinks and have actually ordered the same one from amazon while sitting at the bar. We ordered the Tuna Tartar and the Saffron Little Neck Clams. Marlene said both were great and that she loved the soy pearls on the Tuna Tartar. I had no idea what they were but OMG they are amazing! Basically Soy Sauce caviar, you bite into them and it's a little explosion of salty soy sauce, absolutely perfect with the tuna tartar. I looked up how to make them, thank you YouTube, relatively easy, and can't wait to put them on everything. Yes, I managed to order a smoking box and look up a video but not take a single picture of our food. My husband is leery of clams based on a way too long story of us digging for clams like 10 years ago, but this dish managed to change his mind about clams and he says he will now order them. Little neck clams are one of my favorites and these were really good but I think they actually could have had a touch more salt, something I never say, I almost always think things are too salty. We also had the Tokyo Old Fashioned and Marlene was nice enough to let us try that one smoked too - very delicious. She also suggested the Cucumber Gimlet, amazing! So refreshing and easy to drink! It could be so dangerous on a hot day, drinking it like a cucumber lemonade, and next thing you know you've been sleeping beside the pool for 6 hours! Yes it is a limited menu but I think there is something there for everyone. I have never said I'd go back to a hotel restaurant but I would come back here for sure! read more

We waited 45 min for food and they brought the appetizers we expected to arrive in 20 min at the same time as the entrees.My ceasar salad had little to no dressing. The fries were luke warm. The wings were dried out. The steak we ordered was 50% fat. My Mahi sandwich was inedible. It was dried out. I sent it back and rather than get it back to me soon, I had to 35 minutes for them to replace it. That's almost 1hr and a half for food! read more

Amazing . Friendly staff. Very professional and caring from the moment you approached the hostess stand til you leave.Food was Amazing very tasty. We started with the tuna tartar and burratta perfect shareable dish. Presented very well. And it tasted amazing. My husband ordered the ribeye, it was so tender and perfectly seasoned. I ordered the grouper, wow what favors they combined. I do suggest to make reservations. This place is going to be a top notch restaurant. So make your reservations. Enjoy!
