They even allowed us to have our two small dogs in the cab while hauling our vehicle back to town. WARNING - I am going to bash on AAA and give lots of love to Dacus!!! (I wish I could rate them 6 stars) My truck broke down about 15 miles south of McPherson, KS. I have AAA and called them. I gave them both my GPS coordinates and mile marker number I was located at on North I-135. They indicated a tow truck would be dispatched within an hour. I called AAA 2 hours after the initial call to confirm they had someone coming. They indicated I had been elevated to a top priority and a tow truck would be there within 20 minutes. Guess what? - another 45 minutes goes by and no tow truck. I called AAA again. they indicated the tow truck had already done their pick up and this order was closed. Obviously it was not, because I was still sitting on the side of the road. AAA said the towing company had done the pickup in California and it was complete. I asked them how they could make a mistake with GPS coordinates and a physical description of the Interstate with mile marker. The customer service rep passed me on to a supervisor who did not have a good answer but indicated they would start another pick up. Extremely frustrated at this point, AAA indicated it would be approximately 3-4 hours before a tow truck could arrive!!! Are you kidding me? At this point I googled tow trucks near me and Dacus came up (along with 5 star review). They said they would be at my location within 20 minutes. They actually arrived in 15 minutes. The driver was extremely courteous and even let our two small dogs ride in the cab of the tow truck. He then dropped my vehicle off at the dealership and dropped me and my wife off at our house. Needless to say I will be cancelling my AAA member ship and if I am within 100 miles of McPherson, KS and need a tow, I will be calling Dacus. What a fantastic team and great customer service.

(Good sense of humor) Tow-driver was very kind and understanding about the situation i was in. His name was Timmy and i am so very grateful he came to my aid. Timmy managed to get my car on the truck bed without the keys, (which i did have originally and felt bad not knowing it wouldve made the job easier. sorry about that.) He worked hard and got it on the truck bed perfectly, and thats not having a battery and slit tire. Thats awesome. I appreciate that so much. He let me ride with him home and listened patiently to the issues i had been dealing with, and getting an understanding of my own perspective about the situations we deal with in life. A lot like a friend and that means so much in hard times, for real. I respect that. He dropped off my vehicle exactly where i generally hace it parked behind my apartment, and its tricky to do with it in a back alley with other cars, but he got it done no problem.
