Super friendly staff and there's a local community feel to the gym, which is a huge draw. Also, they have a ping pong table, and a stretching/fitness area upstairs with 2 power racks, a fan bike, and a Tension board (if you're looking to mix things up) There's free gravel parking, and plenty of space (unlike Collegetown...)

Drive me nuts that kids events don't start until like 10 so was so excited that Cayuga Clinbs Toddler Time is from 8:30 to 9:45 it's the perfect time for a kids activity. The space is great for letting kids runaround and try climbing. My daughter love finding the cow on top of one of the climbing wall every time we go. Sorry if no one else has found it since she doesn't let go of it easily once she finds it. It's reasonably priced $15 per toddler and you don't have to pay for the adults like you would a children's museum but you do have to watch your own kids. My twins get so excited to go, seriously one of the best events for toddlers in the area. Typically twice a month on Sundays but it does not have a consistent schedule so again get on the mailing list so you're informed when the next event will take place.

The decor is all pretty dated but I actually expect that in bowling places, just the same as I would at a dive bar. It was fun bowling with my family! We all found balls for ourselves, enjoying the process of wandering the alley, picking up balls until we each had the right ones. There was a mix of adults and kids and everyone found what they were looking for. Aside from our group, the lanes were really busy with the leagues in town who all gave off a kind of hardcore bowling but relaxing in the man's club vibe. The most shockingly awesome thing about this place was the food. You ever just have an unexpectedly godly burger? That happened to me here! I thought I'd be getting regular greasy spoon but then I bit into the most perfectly toasted, slightly crispy bun with soft burger and cheese. I mean, damn. Totally normal but the texture blasted me! Aside from that food was cheap and fast, served in baskets, again what you'd expect. There are other places in the area but if you don't feel like driving over to Cortland then Hi-Lanes will suit you just fine.

I would like to give this course a better rating because of the Fantastic views and fairly nice…read morelayout. But the fairways and rough are so terrible it's not even fun to play. Finding your ball in the middle of the Fairway is a tasks. We watch them mowing the fairways with a regular tractor and blowing all of the clippings to the edge of the Fairway. If your ball rolled into that it was impossible to find. Greens were in fair condition. They were a little slow but they rolled fairly true. Very nice little clubhouse with a good selection of drinks and a very nice woman working there. She was very pleasant, helpful, and friendly.

My boyfriend and I were up visiting Ithaca and found this stable to go horseback riding. We had a…read moregreat time with a private hour long trail ride with the husband and wife who own the stables with 17 horses. They are a small business and do not advertise much, which is why they do not have a website. Very good pricing especially when compared to other stables in that area. They were easy to talk to, personable, and nice enough to call me later that evening to tell us where fireworks (for the 4th of july) were happening since we were searching for a place to watch them. Great find!
