Didn't even know there was go karting in Ithaca but I'm glad this place exists! Pretty small course, but the cars get the job done and the owners seem chill. There's also a big grassy and picnic next to the track that you can throw a ball or play spikeball at when you're not racing. Good vibes. read more

This was the only go-cart place we found in the Seneca Lake region (the one near Watkins Glen closed). It's basic and good for younger kids (but must be 52 inches to drive your own go-cart), as it's a relatively short track and not very challenging. Unless it's on your way, not worth the drive just to do go-carting at this course. read more

Dirty cheap go karting. We had a crew of 10 bad Asian drivers and we were able to do 4 full mins of turtle racing for 3 bucks per person. So cheap you can't help but go for round 2... and 3... and on and on until you actually win. The karts themselves vary so its not ideal for actual racing because your sore loser friends are bound to call BS. There are about 5 turns in this course, including a double hairpin turn. No helmets required but good safety instructions were given. The straight section itself isn't very long I doubt you'll be flying faster than ~20mph. All and all, it gets the thrill satisfied for a very reasonable price. read more

This is a fun, bare bones Go-kart place. The track itself was pretty well kept up but there are no extras beyond the tires that line the outside. Racing itself is a bit haphazard in that there's really no great places to pass other than the straightaway section, the karts are pretty variable in speed and handling, and even the start is sort of "as you can, feel free to go" . That said they were good with safety instructions (not that there are many), which is good given there are no helmets. Very reasonable prices - $3.50 for 4 minutes or $35 for 12-4 minute segments. Overall a great experience, just don't come expecting a top of the line place and you'll have a ton of fun. read more

Just "re" reviewing some things here that got deleted, to up my items and Location's.. dont rem much about the place. Besides that it was "ok", the cars were pretty decent actually but the track itself and the people running it were ok I guess,, again was a summer or 2 ago. I know there's better out there and around so just check out some more options... the guy took 10 mins to explain everything and acted like everyone was 5 years old.. again my main thing was an average or below average track ( just length and fun of it basically) the cars weren't to bad actually. ( speed and drifting wise if I rem correctly) And some of the people were ridiculous with there talking as if everyone's a 5 year old.. read more

Lady there is old and very rude. Customer service makes me wanna cry about my life choices

We have driven past here 100s of times and finally decided to go tonight. Super fun & very worth it!!! Great prices ($10 per ride - around 6-7 minutes, or package deals for slight discounts, "leftover" rides can be saved for another time). The cars go fast & the mostly adult clientele there were all having a great time. We had a blast & our son (11) especially loved it. We didn't use them, but the guy there said that there were double cars so younger riders can go with adult. Excellent family night out! read more

visited the track the other day , figure we'd check out a go-kart place,, 1st off you basically come down a hill that you can barely see the place. the track is down in , it was ok to say the best ,. 5$ a ride (5 minutes roughly) seems about average I'd say ? Not a local but it does ?? The cars go pretty fast. That's a plus ,, Tires were like bungee strapped or something? And the staff treats the people like everyone is 2 years old? It seemed liked , out of all the stuff to do in the area, I would not really recommend this place, nore do I think we'll prb go back , again not a horrible place. Fun, cheap, exciting, no-frills karting. This place has a great old-school feel and is only $4/ride. Compared to newer karting tracks, the karts a bit harder to operate and the track barriers are comprised of only tires, so you do have to be more careful. Another reviewer mentioned the run-down being too long and was upset that her son was yelled at. Well the truth is that kids with go-karts tend to cause mischief and not follow instructions on purpose, I observed a similar situation happen during my visit. Also, the brakes are not like other more modern go-karts, it is indeed difficult to engage them fully so I personally felt the long intro was warranted. read more

Just went to ring wood with my 12 year son. The owner, a woman, was so rude to my son. First she gives a 20 minute run down on how to press the brake and when my son looked away yelled at him for not paying attention. Then at the end of the race my son got confused and followed the man to the pit. My son was going a little fast and ran into the tires. She comes out yelling at him. I told her he was confused because the man came in. She said so I didn't give the white flag. I said I know but he was confused when the man pulled in and he is just a kid. My son was on the verge of tears. Clearly not child friendly read more

An amazing experience!! Went with 5 friends today and had a blast, a hidden gem near Ithaca and great prices to match, got the punch card deal for the 6 of us and were able to enjoy a few races, great staff as well and will definelty come back. read more
