I went to Bespoke Edge thinking I'd get a nice suit... what I got instead was a full-on identity…read moreupgrade. The suit? Unreal. The sport coat? Criminally good. I'm now 87% more likely to casually lean on things and nod like I own the place. The fit is so dialed in I briefly checked to see if there was sorcery involved (there is). And then there's Ryan -- the man, the myth, the quietly observing Jedi wardrobe warrior. He doesn't say much... but when he does, it's usually something like, "Let's take in the shoulder a touch," and suddenly you look like you've been Photoshopped in real life. I'm convinced he can see your true form through the Force and tailor accordingly. What really stands out is his commitment to getting it right for every body type. Whether you're built like a linebacker, a marathoner, or somewhere in the "I enjoy appetizers" category (no judgment, I live there), he makes it work -- flawlessly. Bottom line: If you want a suit that fits like it was destined for you, go see Ryan. Just be prepared... you may leave questioning all previous clothing decisions and wondering why the rest of your closet doesn't spark joy and fear. 10/10. Would trust the Jedi again.

Precision in every stitch!…read more My husband and I worked with Avery on a custom suit for our wedding. The whole process was fun and stress-free and the final products came out really well! We designed a custom three-piece suit as well as a custom shirt and could not have been happier with the end results! Avery made sure that every aspect of the clothing was exactly what we wanted and that every measurement was taken correctly. Everything fit perfectly in the end and I really saw the value of custom clothing. You get full control over how your suit looks and everything fits so well and makes you feel really comfortable and confident (also no need to stress about a rental not fitting quite right). She also helped us decide on a bow tie to go with the suit. We would highly recommend Bespoke Edge to anyone look for a custom piece.

Guillermo is phenomenal! I am so happy he made my dress. He made my wedding day magical! I felt…read morelike a movie star!! I found a dress online that I fell in love with, the problem was, it was in Australia and I was getting married in 8weeks! I found Guillermo on yelp with great reviews so I reached out to him, showed him the picture, he took my measurements and custom made this dress... all from a picture!!! And he made it in 3 weeks! It looks exactly like the picture! The details in the dress were amazing! (He also made the birdcage in my hair, which he just whipped up!) I can't say enough good things about Guillermo, especially since I would be considered "plus-sized" and dresses made for curvy girls tend to be different than other dresses- not as form fitting or trying to hide your body. This dress fit like a glove and as we walked around Brooklyn Bridge Park, many people stopped us and asked if we were really getting married or if it was for a photo shoot for a magazine! The right dress made all the difference in our memorable day!

Not for alterations. If you're looking for a tailor to alter…read morea dress that's, like, normal, this is not the place. I showed up with a nice dress for a wedding I'm attending. After having me get changed he started talking price, and the rates he was quoting were crazy! $180 for a hem on a dress. Ridiculous. Way out of line with what I've paid at high-quality tailors in Manhattan. I'll be going back to them thank you - well worth the trip to not get ripped off. Be sure to ask for a quote before going here.

Overall: Trustworthy place for alterations and custom work…read more He's clear about what's realistic, what isn't, what he can do, and why. Alterations: George transformed a delicate silk dress so the top half not only fit but flattered me. It had the perfect balance between loose and structured. He added a built-in bra with no visible trace and perfectly matched darts on both sides, plus a high-quality liner that feels invisible. I can just throw the dress on and feel comfortable and polished without extra layers. Worth every penny. Fabric: He sources materials within a reasonable budget without sacrificing quality (though some fabrics may cost more, I think it's worth it). He found a perfect liner match for my silk dress that feels incredibly soft. Design: Versatile with a strong eye for design across styles, from casual to formal to couture-like pieces. He can also create custom clothes tailored to your body and personal style. Price: Reasonable. Quality work reflects the value. Sewing Classes: Two great experiences so far. Hands-on, practical, and tailored to your pace and project. Relaxed and informal, which I like. He starts by getting you comfortable on the sewing machine right away and shares helpful tips as you progress. He's patient with questions and plans to offer more project-based classes in the future, like tote bags. My Projects so far: 1. Organza blazer: Adjusted the upper sleeve design to hide small holes. Now, it looks subtly more unique. Learned how organza fabric behaves and how to plan, prep, and mark before execution. 2. Sheer burnout velvet top: Undoing a previous alteration and redesigning the fit of a delicate, boxy top with two finicky layers. He walked me through the full process--from prep to execution--including stitch removal, fabric behavior, needle selection, machine basics and maintenance, tools worth having (and not), measuring and marking, steaming techniques, cutting precision, darts, shaping the armpit area cleanly, secure stitching methods, and possible fixes if mistakes happen. Next session will focus on finishing the top, adding a built-in side zipper, and learning how to use my new Pfaff sewing machine. Space: Small but well-equipped with multiple machines, a few seating spots, and one curtained dressing area. Tucked into an alley among creative, independent businesses with a welcoming community feel. Extra: His gentle, golden-eyed dog, Gray, makes the space even more welcoming. He loves pets and tug-of-war and stays quietly nearby.
