People are way too finicky about this place. I've had nothing but great experiences ordering from the store and online. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. I've never had any staff members "hovering" around me in a way that bothered me. Employees take their job seriously here and are always ready to answer questions. 1/23/25, terrible experience! No one around to help, went to check out and the dud was rude. I had a purchase on 12/12, which later that day a manager called and said they owed me a credit. I said what ever is easiest for you to credit, which was for a message to be on my account about credit. Yesterday I go they dont see credit, manager says it could take 5-10 minutes to find, he eventually just said I'll a 5.00 credit on my purchase, I also had a 6.00 rewards which was to be applied! There were many products to choose from. I have been smoking weed for years and it was still confusing. So, I asked for help. The woman that helped me was loud, talking at me and when I asked a question, she was very rude. It seemed like she was more concerned with getting through her spiel than assisting me. She killed the buzz. My brother overheard her and couldn't believe his ears. She basically scolded me. I'm a grown man and she treated me like a child. I was pissed but maintained my composure. Shopped there on Friday, June 21. Decent experience, perhaps too much "help" from the staff who are always hovering around you as you walk through. A lot of "security" overhead which gives the impression of too much bureaucracy imposed by the state of new York. Biggest complaint is they say they accept debit cards, and they use an odd process of rounding up your total charges then hitting your card with a higher amount, then giving you the difference in cash. That might not be too bad except they don't tell you that you're also going to be hit with a $3 user fee from whomever provides their debit card servicing. Luckily, my bank refunds all but $1 of such fees, but Rise's system is questionable and they should clearly disclose the additional fees for using a debit card in their store. Nonetheless, the vape cartridge I bought works just fine. read more
