Friday our heat stops working, turns out our unit was intended for climates that don't fall below 50 degrees and our home was in the low 50s. Hubbs came around noon on Friday and immediately refused to do any work as they needed to "order parts" and would be back on "Monday". This particular weekend's high was 35 degrees and google turned up 18 search results for stores that sell these kinds of parts. Hubbs did not care, they callously refused to do any work on Friday regardless of the fact we had 3 children under 12 and 2 small animals living in a home that couldn't get above 50 degrees all weekend with the use of space heaters. They did arrive on Monday and have allegedly fixed the heat with a part smaller than my fist in under an hour. All in all Hubbs has proven to be a lazy, unmotivated and uncaring company not worth anyone's time or money. Avoid at all cost

The office quoted $1,150.00 to replace a 40 gallon water heater over the phone…read more When technicians arrived, they identified the water heater as a 50 gallon model instead of a 40 gallon. One of the technicians stated that it would be in our favor because the 50 gallon tanks were less expensive than the 40 gallon. Price would be around $1,300.00. After they completed the installation, it was denied the conversation took place, thus resulting in a charge of $1,647.59. Will not be requiring their services in the future.

Steven was great; he was personable, and went out of his way to find all of the GFCIs and checked to make sure they were functioning properly and safely; the recessed light and indoor light switch were afterthoughts on my part, but he just went with it. Great service at a very reasonable price. Not only will I use them again, I'm considering them for a project that I've put on the back burner for years.

This is not a minor issue--it affects the entire appearance of the kitchen and is not what I expected from a professional restoration company. I raised the concern, but it has not been properly resolved. Instead, I am left with mismatched cabinets and an invoice for work that clearly does not meet acceptable standards. At this point, I have requested that the bill be removed and that we part ways, as I do not want any further work done by this company. I have even offered them to come get the cabinets installed. The staff agree these cabinet do not match! They have ordered 2 sets now. This situation has been frustrating from start to finish. I would strongly encourage anyone considering them to carefully inspect all work before agreeing to payment.
