The RISE UP location on College Avenue has an excellent and appealing menu, for those seeking a tasty, made-to-order breakfast or lunch snack, and both ambience and service set the tone for enjoyment and relaxed satisfaction! The smaller location on Riverside drive is likewise staffed by attentive and efficient baristas, serving excellent beverages, as evidenced by the steady stream of customers both in the drive-through and intimate interior. Kudos to Tim Cureton, Colin Eck, et al, for their vision, foresight, enthusiasm and dedication in their effort to compete competently, as they do, with the big boys! Rise Up is my favorite! AND, just when I thought it could not get any better, I discover that one of the employees is Brazilian. My husband, who is also Brazilian, LOVES Rise Up but he does not speak enough English to order for himself. The employee was super thoughtful and wrote a note for other staff with my husbands name and what he drinks for those times when she is not there to take his order in portuguese. The only downside to Rise Up is that the coffee is SO good that I have actually gone there three times in one day before! read more

Stopped in for some organic coffee based on a friends recommendation to try it. The store has a nice friendly vibe inviting with a friendly staff. The coffee was very good. Coming from Chicago, this place is a saving grace for Salisbury- the coffee is outstanding- and the words "soy latte" aren't met with weird looks, just a smile! The staff is AWESOME. Love this place! When I worked in Salisbury I'd always drive across town to get it. Great lil place. Their coffee smoothies are amazing.

I'm not a big coffee drinker, but this place hits the spot when the urge calls. Their espresso is perfect for those early morning wakeup calls. It beats Starbucks that has become over trendy if you ask me. I also have a soft spot for local type coffee shops. One of the major downsides is there's no place to sit and relax. It's strictly a grab n' go joint. The staff is always friendly and helpful as I agonize over my order. Again, I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I also know they support the local community by donating items and gift cards for local non-profits. This earns major kudos in my book! read more

Found this place by accident while traveling and looking for a Starbucks in the area that apparently didn't exist anymore. I thought it was just going to be a random hole in the wall place but as soon as I walked in I could tell I had the wrong idea. The roasting equipment in the back really caught my attention and I got to talking to the staff and found out their coffee was sold in Whole Foods, etc. It was a surprise considering my initial impression! I went with the coffee smoothie since it seemed to be a unique item on the menu and I really enjoyed it. The boyfriend had a vanilla latte which was also good. I'm glad we never found the Starbucks we were looking for! read more

The people in here are so nice. I always bring my dog with me in drive-thru and he gets a treat every time. I've pretty much only ordered the Vanilla Cream Pie latte for a drink and I love it. Their coffee is great and strong. Their burritos are alright. Not consistent, it was super crusty and hard on one side last time I ordered. The salsa you can order with it is basically Pace salsa mixed with sour cream...not that appeasing. But I love to go here for coffee and friendly service!! read more

This place is enjoyable to go to on my way to work; fast and courteous staff. I have never been inside but it doesn't seem to be a large area, from my count there are 4 tables (I could be mistaken). Also the drive through can be a pain sometimes if there are a bunch of cars there. I'm a huge fan of their lattes caramel and honey bun are my favorite. I had a few of the frozen drinks before and they are also really good. The one time I ordered the cappuccino it wasn't the greatest and I have yet to try the food or actual coffee. But based on the lattes alone, I would highly recommend this little coffee-house. read more

This is my review for RiseUps online customer service. Let my first start out by saying how delicious their coffee is. Ok, now onto the good stuff! Tim at RiseUp has to be one of THE most generous persons in customer service. A-1. I had called to check to see when my coffee was coming. I left a message. Tim, promptly, called back my house and told me due to the hurricane orders were delayed. We then started talking about my order and how I was serving some friends at camp and I was introducing this coffee to them. Tim went above and beyond to get that coffee to me. I'm actually sitting around with my friends. We are in the MIDDLE OF THE WOODS OF MAINE! Tha'ts the incredible part. He managed to get that coffee to me in time for my weekend get together! Really?! How nice is that? Tim, you've got a customer for life. AND, I think you may have some new business coming your way. For those of you reading this, will Tim do the same for you? I can't answer that. I'm just overwhelmed this morning with greatful-ness. I'm beaming from ear to ear watching my friend relax and enjoy some morning blend. I'm a big fan of this place and if you like your coffee rich and strong, you will be too. I usually find myself with an XL iced latte. Occasionally, I'll go on a jamaican iced tea kick if they have it. The last few times that I ordered a hot latte I was disappointed as the strength wasn't what I had from there before, but I found that I can't go wrong with the iced version. I've had a local beer and a local choclate cake graced with rise up coffee and they seem to quickly become my favorites. Parking can be an issue and some mornings the line goes out into the street... and for good reason, it's worth it! read more
