I stopped in to Rise N Roll on a whim. I was picking up items from the tailor and trying to complete my daily steps. I walked past the store front and everything looked clean and quaint, so I stopped in. The store, as it is just not a donut shop per se, was clean and clear of any debris or clutter. The staff were cordial and polite. I I noticed immediately the location appeared to have ambient lighting, making the atmosphere cozy and charming. I tried the glazed donut. It was soft and fluffy, the glaze was just enough not overly done. The price was comparable to others in the area. There is seating available. They sell other baked goods as well. read more

My family was in the area in Fort Wayne and drove by noticing this bakery. We decided to check it out on a whim, so glad we did! This bakery makes delicious fresh baked goods including cookies, cinnamon rolls, donuts, and muffins. I took a half dozen donuts with me home, omg these were delicious! You could taste the difference between these and other donut shops! Rise n' Roll, though is more than just a bakery. It also sells sundry items like pickles. I got a jar of some spicy pickles, since my brother loves pickles so much. These were some of the best he has had. They also sell a lot of different jellies and jams. Moreover they do have a deli. I cannot advise on how good it is, because I did not buy from their deli area. I have to believe it's just as good. This is a great place, and recommend anyone in the area to try! read more

I could not ask for better service or better pastries. This place rocks when it comes to serving up donuts, pies, muffins, even candy bars and salsas. I'd love to see fresh baked bread here, but they don't seem to offer it. Maybe next time I get to Ft Wayne they'll have it? Wow!!! By far the best donuts I have ever had and I am a donut connoisseur, have had donuts from all over the U.S.! The dough is just something I can't even describe. Extremely dense, full of flavor. While the cinnamon caramel (crack donuts) are their top seller, my second fave is the Bismarck Crunch. Rise 'n Roll donuts is by far my favorite donut place in the Midwest. Definitely ranking higher then their Chicago competition. I like how much custard is in the Bavarian donuts, the frosting is like fudge, and the actually donut literally melts in your mouth! I make the trek all the way to this location because it rocks!! It is always extremely clean. I like how the vibe is a little more like a coffee shop. However, the main reason I come to this location is because of the costumer service. I am always treated with the highest quality service. Even when they don't have exactly what I am craving, they always find a way to accommodate to my craving. Bakery items are amazing but the coffee is mediocre. Well worth it to get your donuts here and go somewhere else for drinks.

They have continually made the peanut covered Bismarck smaller to the point where we stopped shopping there. That's the first law in going out of business, cut your value to customer. Oh and by the way the coffee sucks. read more

Fantastic shop to get some donuts and pastries. Prices are right, size of the donuts are larger then most and the shop is very nice inside. All I can say is yum...these donuts are the best. The signature cinnamon caramel donut and the donut holes (Amish Crack) are just amazing and you cannot eat just one. The location just opened in May and is nicely decorated inside. Haven't tried anything yet that I didn't like. They also offer a complimentary small coffee with your purchase. Hope that they add a deli, like the south Fort Wayne location, someday. read more

Just driving through and had to have a donut fix. Rise 'N Roll has been in my bookmarks for a while and finally crossed paths with this new location. All yeast donuts, no cake, but they are plenty tasty. The dough was more similar in consistency to a very soft, pillowy bread roll, yet the toppings available quickly made up for needed sweetness. Originally from Fort Wayne and was back in town, driving through looking for a great donut shop. And boy did I find it. Rise'N Roll Bakery has a large cozy store front with way more than just donuts. Their pastries and donuts are amazing and they offer free coffee with donuts. I recommend the cinnamon caramel powdered donut it seemed to be one off the most popular and did bit disappoint. Not quite the bakery we hoped to find, pretty lacking in offerings and their donuts had entirely too much powdered sugar, I literally scraped off a hardened shellac of it and after that the donut was ok. Can't beat the the price on a donut and coffee-2 donuts and coffee ran less than $4! Not enough to bring me back tho. read more

3rd time eating donuts here. The flavor of each style is definitely thought out very well! The beat part is the amount of powdered sugar you get. The jelly-filled donut is great, the sticky buns are great, Bavarian cream is perfect, but the whip cream style filled is probably the weakest donut they have. The reason for 4 stars is the dough.
