My child still teaches me yoga she taught him, or talks about how he used to read the Dragon Wings series with her in 3rd grade, her taking a page, him the next. I still read with him at home in this way, now Harry Potter. He speaks fondly of her and misses her and I am grateful for any time we had with her before she stopped teaching. She was pure love. He had kind, caring kids here who reached out to one another and who really were invested in one another. He enjoyed playing chess or gnomes or wolves with the kids and the kids were still kids! Playing! It was a mixed age classroom of 1st-5th grade and he was in 3rd grade and had friends in each grade. He would sometimes ask to stay after school to be with friends and draw gnomes or Pac Man together, or to play dragons or wolves. This school emphasized play and I love that they let the kids sled and have snow ball fights. We loved their Dia De Los Muertos celebration and the rooms where they did project-based learning, art, reading and math was so cozy. We really loved the art my son came home with and are still friends with a family we are very glad to still be connected to. This is education as I always dreamed it to be. And the administration did not shy away from addressing what needed to be addressed with kindness, compassion and integrity, a lot of honesty here despite life's struggles, which are always there. We are grateful we had this. My son learned a lot of his firsts here, around reading, math, social groups. We are glad for the lasting impact and as another parent said, "well, you have to pay something to expect value." yes, valuable indeed, what we received. (It is never about a model of education, but about the individuals and character we find in any given place. While we got on board with the model Little Earth espouses, it was more about finding the right people in the right place, that impressed us so deeply. It was the families, kids, and educators, staff and administrators, too, who held so much heart, no matter what their education pedagogy was.)

This place is dangerous. My child who was in the toddlers room, was there for a few months. The…read morelast day my child was there she kept getting charged/pushed at and thrown down by one kid. This was has going on for weeks. The last day it happened 4 times within 10 mins. I called and said to get that child away from mine. I go to pick up my daughter and as I wake her from her nap she is crying like she is in pain and face is bloody. I asked what in the world happened and they said she was pushed into a bookshelf 2 hours after I called. THEY NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME MY CHILD WAS INJURED. They played it off as a "bloody nose". I asked Carman why did no one call me, she said she "didn't know and toddlers push eachother, it's normal". WHAT!! All she does is lie. It was still bleeding when we left and when I got home as I was cleaning her up I noticed she had two gashes under her nose, a bruised lip, along with a bloody nose. It is not normal for a one year old to harm others like this! Also, this daycare is not reliable. They will stop taking children early in the morning because they are "under staffed" but the real reason is they accept more children into the program without being about to accommodate the ones that they have already. Like I don't even know how we got in. You have to get there an hour before they open to wait in line to even try to get in. Parents arguing with eachother because of parents skipping the line, IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN. They will stop accepting after #6 toddlers but when you look on the cameras there will be more than 6 in the classroom. You will miss a lot of days at work. There is really no structure and in the toddler room there is not a lot of toys or broken toys for children to play with. Kids just pushing chairs around all day. No structure. A teacher said they haven't gotten new things for the class room in a long time. I do think my daughter's development has halted while being here. Please don't take the negative reviews lightly. The people are not that great, Carman had lied to my face multiple times. How can you trust someone who is watching your child that lies. I informed the district manager and just pray that this place is investigated for the safety and well-being of the children still there.

Very unreliable due to understaffing. Most days were not due to covid and we were not given an explanation to why they would not take our child after paying about $300 per week. No discount if they can't take him due to their accepting too many children. We will get text messages 5 minutes after opening that the toddler room is full. Lovely staff and curriculum but very unreliable. Would not recommend to a working parent.
