This is an amazing service and employer. They can get nannies for clients visiting Santa Fe, or for clients who live here. They can get nannies who can take your children out on the town while you ski, or have fun on the plaza or just for you to have a care free afternoon. I have utilized PattyCake for 2 placements- one from Feb 2022 up until September 2022 and we had a wonderful e experience and placement. If i had not utilized them again i would have given them 5 stars. However, our 2023 experience was absolutely horrific. We started working with Sara Norris in January/February of 2023 to find a summer nanny- ample time for a nanny to start the end of May or June. I followed up at the end of February and march and they still had no placement for me. I ended up being able to get my girls in some half day camps in hopes we would hear back. The end of APRIL was when we heard back and started the process. We only had 2 candidates and went with the one who had the most experience and credentials of the two. Sadly this placement did not work out. Here is my caution to you- DO NOT USE them for summer placements- you will not get your money back and you will not get a replacement on the timeline you need. My major frustration was how this was handled and the fact that they kept the FULL "finders fee" when our nanny quit after 2 weeks- to me this is just wrong and greedy. They are also based in New Mexico and they do not have a good book of candidates other than utilizing care.com it seems. It turned out they are nothing more than babysitters. One girl spent most of the day on her cell phone filling out job applications. The other was late in the mornings. We were referred to Patty Cake Nannies as suggested by our hotel in Santa Fe. It was a trip for our anniversary and we wanted some time to ourselves for dinner. As new parents with a 7 month old, this was going to be our first time ever having a babysitter. (Other than our mothers.) Jamie, the manager, responded promptly and sent us a number of profiles of babysitters who had extensive experience and safety certifications. It also included photos and some personal info about them. The decision wasn't easy, but we actually ended up going with Jamie herself since she is also a Mom of two young kids. We hired Jamie to come three times and she came promptly every time. The moment our son saw her the first time, he lit up. There was a beautiful connection. It was surprisingly hard for us to leave him with her each time, but not because we didn't trust her. It was just new for us. Jamie played with him, fed him, took him for a walk put him to sleep (which can be quite a challenge with our little guy). Her nature was very patient and loving, which we very much appreciated. By the time we left Santa Fe, we were wishing she lived in California! She set the bar high and we are on a mission now to find the same kind of experienced and trustworthy support at home. I was very impressed with Patty Cake Nannies. We were staying at a hotel in Albuquerque and needed a babysitter. Patty Cake's sent me profiles of several impressive sitters, it was hard to choose. And the one we selected was so great, she had a full "toolkit" of crafts for the kiddos. And one day, we had to cancel last minute the night before because the weather suddenly changed and all our activities were canceled. Patty Bakes was so understanding and refunded the daily fee I had been charged. That was such a relief on our end and such a good business model that I can't say enough about them! read more

We needed two nannies for an evening while we were on vacation in Santa Fe. We aren't from the area, so we weren't sure how to find childcare. Christal found us two amazing nannies who were both amazing. We had a total of 6 children between the ages of 1 and 6, one with special needs. They handled everything wonderfully and to our amazement, they were all asleep when we got home and the house was in perfect order! The kids all had great thugs to say about them the next day.
