Im on visit 4 and it's been a pleasant experience so far! All doctors and staff are very nice and pleasant. The office is always peaceful and tranquil and has an herbal tea bar and rock fountain. I really like the zen feeling of the design. My treatment plan is with Dr. Connor and he is very nice, skilled and professional. What I mostly like about this facility is that they have multiple stretches you have to do before getting adjusted. There's a machine to stretch your neck muscles, and machine you stretch your hips, then you do stretches on a chair. THEN you get adjusted. And lastly you follow up with standing on a vibrate plate. The doctors also have a lot of different machines they use during the adjustments. Other experiences with a chiropractor, they didn't have all those extra things.... It was just you lay down when you get adjusted and you leave. So I really like that there is a lot of different methods of treatment at this facility. Also, the consultation is very thorough and affordable, it's two visits, the first one you consult with the doctor and get x-rays done in a private room, and the second visit is a follow up visit to talk to the doctor about your x-rays, look at the x-rays and discuss a treatment plan. The whole experience did not feel pushy or salesy. It's was a relaxing experience. *bonus is I bring my 2.5 year old son to my visits and it's never a problem. It can be a little nerve wracking starting over with new doctors. I moved here a little over a year ago looking for a new chiro. Happened to stumble upon Risoldi Family Chiropractic on Google. He explained their philosophy & care processes, and to my surprise he referred me to a different Chiro. You'd think this was a bad thing, but it was a pleasant surprise because he listened to my situation and actually didn't try to push a "plan" on me just to keep me coming back. I received an ad on Facebook for a low first visit rate that includes xrays. I provided all of my information in order to receive the promotional rate but I never was contacted. A week or two later I got a text message from the doctor asking why I was no longer interested in the promotion. I explained I was, I just never got a call. Fast forward, I was able to make an appointment, provide my insurance info, then go in for xrays. Dr. Risoldi presented me with a "care plan" for $5k that he wanted me to PRE PAY before services were rendered and that was in addition to what they would bill my insurance company. To top that off, they want you to use your key tag, lay down in a room with other people, doctor comes over and does your adjustment, and then you leave. No privacy, no personal touch, just a conveyor belt of burn em and turn em. No thank you. I told him I would speak to my husband and I ran out the door. If you have thousands of dollars to throw around with no guarantee of results, head to Risoldi Family Chiropractor. If you don't, seek out a chiropractor who is willing to give you personal time and attention and bill you as services are rendered. read more

I would not recommend this place. They definitely instilled fear into me, leaving me going home completely upset after my first adjustment to the point where they almost persuaded me into spending 2,000 dollars for 3x a week for 2 months with insurance covering 1,000 (3,000 dollar total)! Mind you I'm 19 years old... Thankfully I decided to get a second opinion. Now I go somewhere where they have a once a week corrective plan. He charges me $30 per visit. Whole office is set up so they can charge you huge amounts of money, and if you can't do it they even refuse to see you without the so called "care plan" which is a yearly plan paid in advance, that costs thousands of dollars. They are impatient and condescending once you don't comply to those demands. Complete rip off. Zero real concern for the person, just the wallet. Once you're getting the adjustment it is all rushed and made me feel like they were punishing me instead of helping me heal. I was in pain for 4 days after. I have been going to chiropractors for 20 years due to a car accident damaging my my neck and pelvis, also I have scoliosis. My last chiropractor was in California and practiced the same type of method as Risoldi chiropractors, I went every other week because they showed concern and really cared about their patients, and I don't have insurance!!! Quality, human connection, humanity, and real empathy are valued and needed qualities that in my opinion, do not exist in this office. read more

My first visit included a detailed interview and X-rays. In the second visit Dr. Mike showed the X-rays and explained what a spine should look like and what mine looked like. He proposed a treatment plan and explained the costs. I accepted the plan and we started. I felt improvement almost immediately and am making progress toward reaching the target exercise guidelines. So I'll start by saying that all the staff are very welcoming and friendly, and that Dr. Mike really does seem to believe in what he is teaching (holistic wellness, anti-meds) I'm a generally healthy person, 23, good diet and exercise habits. However I suffer from chronic neck pain on and off which I have had for about 5 years. I went to a regular physician a couple years ago who diagnosed me with general muscle strain/tightness and had me go through physical therapy. Recently I started a desk job and this has really exacerbated the problem. I went to Risoldi as a desperate measure, I don't like doctors and definitely not chiropractors in general. My friend had recommended Risoldi to me so I thought it would be ok. After a round of x-rays the doctors claimed that I suffered from neck pain because my neck had lost its curve and that they could fix it by restoring what I had lost. Dr. Mike also promised me at my initial consultation that I would be feeling much better after thirty days. They signed me up on a plan that required me to start coming for adjustments three days a week. Adjustments here are performed with a tapping tool which at least seems safer than cracking which I was not willing to try. The doctors seemed really confident in what they were doing so I tried to trust them even though I honestly started feeling worse, not better. After the adjustments I would still be in pain but sometimes I would feel none the next day (which I should have realized was due to the purchase of a new pillow with more support but I wanted to believe they were helping me). I went to Florida Orthopedic for a second opinion. They looked at my x-rays and told me my spine looked great, my muscles were just inflamed. They also told me that it is impossible to put a curve back in a neck and that some people just have straight necks and forward head posture which can be helped by strengthening your neck muscles. I wish I had gone to them first. I went on vacation for a couple weeks and had time to rest my neck. About halfway through my vacation my pain was gone. It had been a muscle problem all along. Needless to say I didn't go back to Risoldi. Originally when I signed up for the plan I agreed to $225 a month. What I didn't realize is that you are actually paying by adjustment. So after a month of treatment which didn't help me at all, I now owe $600 which is not negotiable. This is unavoidable because they start you off at 3x per week. By the time you realize it's not working, you've basically been frauded. Not to mention the $185 they charged me for a "home care kit". I tried to exit out of the plan a couple weeks earlier but each time the doctors would reassure me that it would start working and to give it a chance. I honestly feel pretty upset about the whole thing. Don't go to Risoldi unless you have exhausted all other options. Even then I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Risoldi found me at Orange Theory after a brutal workout and the desire to learn some nutritional tips about weight loss. The weight loss seminar was great , who would have thought that a chiropractor new about weight loss. At the same time I was battling migraines and having some minor digestive problems. After x-rays and exams Dr Mike new more about me then I felt he needed. Week one no change still having headaches but hopeful. Week 2 no migraine and the Dr took me grocery shopping. The program is called shop with the Doc where the chiropractors actually take you shopping at your local grocery store to teach you tips on healthy eating and how to avoid common toxins found in food. This program was extremely helpful for me where I thought I was eating good I was actually eating crap. This feels like the start of an beautiful relationship. After suffering a minor lower back injury and seeing another Chiro who didn't work out.... Dr Mike, who was referred by a friend, got me feeling back to my old self in literally 2 weeks! I was almost in tears of joy after being in pain for almost a year. The initial evaluation was VERY thorough. And Dr Mike & Dr Ryan promised me they wouldn't treat me if they didn't feel like it would honestly fix my pain. There is some "home care" that you have to be diligent with. And unfortunately my insurance only covered 3 of my 40 visits... but they were very helpful with payment options. The adjustments are very unique and effective.
