My wife spent her childhood in Malaysia and we first visited Tham's restaurant two decades ago before our son was born. We brought our teenage son this time and were excited to discover that Tham is still open in Murren and his food is just as delicious as before! His lovely wife is now working with him in the restaurant and both of them were very friendly and welcoming. We dropped by every chance we got even though we were staying across the valley in Wengen. Remember to bring cash only for payment. There is an ATM by the gondola/cable car station in Murren. The wok fried noodles with prawns were our favorite and our son's favorite was the fried rice with chicken and fried rice with honey pork. My wife also ordered the Assam Chili Chicken and enjoyed the yummy flavors. Excellent nourishment after our hikes! Delicious food, friendly owners and the best food to balance out our other Swiss food forays! We look forward to visiting gorgeous Switzerland again in the near future, especially the Berner Oberland - and we will definitely stop by Tham's in Murren the first chance we get!
