Outstanding. One of the best Italian restaurants in Montreal. Great service and food. Not to be missed.

One of my new favorite pasta places in montreal ! The restaurant has lovely ambience, and the owner…read moreis so cute and quirky as well! The way you order is that first you decide your pasta sauce choice, and then decide which type of pasta you want We asked about wine options, and I think it was BYOW, but there was a dep right across the street and if you're unsure about what to get, the owner has recommendations as well. There's so many pasta sauce options that my friends and I took forever to decide (as usual), but I finally opted for the bow tie pasta with marinara, bacon, mushrooms, grilled chicken, white wine, and cream and it was delicious! I also tried a bite of my friends clam (and I don't remember what else) linguini, which was very tasty as well. Portions are generous, and my friends and I food comaed for at least half an hour after we finished eating The owner was super funny because he'd always tease us with desserts before he brought them to the table which ordered them Definitely coming back here again hehe

If i could give this place a big fat zero star, i would. Where do i start??? I've had bad service…read more I've had bad food. But never did i have both with a dab of misogynistic and racist behaviour from the owner! I am not a violent person...but omg i wanted to punch him! The menu is long and everything on it is expensive. We ordered two green salads. Felix ordered a fettuccini olive oil and garlic sauce for 13$!!! At that price, we thought that the ingredients would be top notch. Right? Wrong! I got the spaghetti meat ball. No "s". It was A meatball. The owner flat out asked my husband, because he doesn't talk to women, if his Chinese immigrant friend knows what ground BEEF meat was. My husband told him that he could ask me himself. The owner said he didn't bother because he knows i wouldn't understand him. I speak three languages. He then wrote down our plate numbers on paper table setting. What a schmuck! He wasn't shy on telling us that he buys his ingredients (fake parmesan, bread, salad dressing and so on) at Costco. Nothing against Costco. But when you charge 13-20$ a plate of pasta with sauce from a jar, i think you're ripping us off and taking us for idiots! I can go on and on... He also told my husband that we're better eating the whole thing because he will not let us have doggy bags. Food this nasty, no f-ing way! Worst meal of my life! Worst place ever!

We are visiting one of our accounts tomorrow and I was looking for a good spot to get some grub…read moreearly since our Friday starts early and we have flights after our meeting. Parking is not the easiest here, there's a lot but it fills up quickly. The good news is that there is also street parking for an hour from 8 AM-6 PM. We walked in and didn't have a reservation but we got a table and was seated immediately. The service is tremendous here. Everyone we had come to our table was super attentive and friendly. Nothing was ever needed, nor had to ask for anything either. I started with the Caesar Salad, which was a good portion and the dressing was incredible. We didn't have lunch, so I inhaled it. Their rolls came out warm with a side of butter, also delicious and had a nice bite to it. I went with the Linguine Gigi, and asked if it could be prepare with no mushrooms. Totally no issues, and when it came out it was piping hot, al dente to perfection, and the sauce was so tasty I almost took the last roll and drug it through the bowl. (I didn't!) my colleague went with chicken parm, came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. For dessert my colleague had the tiramisu. I got the chocolate mousse. Mine was plated beautifully and was light; flavorful, and insanely delicious. My colleague was so happy he chose the tiramisu. I wish I caught names, but I'll do it next time. I will guarantee that I'll be back here whenever I'm in town from now on. Support small owned businesses!

They have parking behind the restaurant with less than a dozen spots. I ordered the caesar salad and freddo (charcuterie plate) as starters. The salad was tasty though a bit heavy on the dressing. The charcuterie was very good but the star on the plate were the cheeses, especially the parmigiano. For my entree I went with the Mediterranean cod which was cooked nicely. The portion was a bit small and I would have liked if it came with some vegetables or a side. The restaurant was a bit loud, but it was a Saturday night. Overall a nice meal with good food, just go in knowing the portions are on the smaller side.
