Horrible pharmacy!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I call in my prescription and they said it would be available the next day. I gave it about 4-5 days to get it and get there and the pharmacy tech tells me it isn't filled but I can wait 30 minutes for it to be filled. I told her no, I'd be back tomorrow (she was holding my prescription in her hands), I was upset considering I had given them plenty of time to fill it. She was very rude and needs to learn good customer service. So I return 2 days later and guess what? She tells me they don't have my prescription and it should be at the store the next day. Now I try to call in my prescription and talk to someone but NO-ONE ever answers the phone. I call within their new business hours 9-6 M-F, and can never speak to anyone. So I go in the store to go to the drop off window, oh guess what that's now shut down and everyone has to wait in one line, which was half way across the store. I am very disappointed in this pharmacy and many others in our town are as well. Due to these ongoing issues I have switched pharmacies and I suggest others do too!!! read more

Considering little to no options for pharmacy/stores in my area this store has come in handy. However their product choice and supply is limited and the shelves at times seem bare. Many of the customer service staff are friendly and helpful. read more

Absolutely appalling that both the Thrifty Ice Cream counter and the self service cartons of Thrifty Ice Cream have been EMPTY for MONTHS!!! Obviously Rite Aid doesn't care about our community of Colusa. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have been to. I have finally switched pharmacies. A couple months ago I went in after receiving a text that my prescriptions were ready, however when I got there, they were not ready. I was advised to call before coming in the next time. The following month, after 3 hours on hold, I drove the 20 miles, still on hold, and walked in. There were no other customers in the store, but they were to busy to answer the phone and my pills were still not ready. So I had to go back the next day. Why offer an automated system if you are not going to use it? They would text that the prescription needed to be refilled, we would text back, but then they wouldn't be filled. Go to any other pharmacy. This store will waste your time. read more

This Rite Aid has some of the laziest employees that I have ever seen. The customer service is the absolute worst. Two associates were working the night we came in Myles and Sheryne and they did not welcome us in. They were rude. At one point Sheryne was sitting behind the register eating and her overall attitude was horrible. Myles was sitting on the register counter. When we got to the register we felt as if we were such a inconvenience to them by interrupting their conversation. There were laughing and talking so loud about another employee by the name of Rocio. It made me feel so uncomfortable. How embarrassing! read more

Unbelievably inappropriate workforce here at this location. My fiance, who frequently stops in to this store was profiled based on absolutely nothing. He went in to look for something for me, grabbed 2 drinks while looking, but decided to put them back when he couldn't find what he was looking for. He was asked if he needed any help by Lisa to which he replied "No, I'm good." and she responded with "Okay." After putting the drinks back where they belong in the refrigerator, he left the store. I had been waiting in the car due to my injured leg which was in a boot. I look up to see Lisa had followed him out of the store and was taking pictures of our car and telling her coworker who was outside collecting carts that he was the guy. I rolled down the window to ask her what she was doing since I was genuinely confused and she snarkily replied "What are you doing?" as she walked away giving zero explanation as to what was going on. I was concerned so I got out and walked with my boot into the store to ask her what was going on and she immediately changed her tune when it was me saying "Sorry." I asked her why she would do that, did she see him do anything wrong and why would she assume he was stealing?? She told me she didn't see him do anything wrong, something about how she asked him if he needed help and that she was sorry. My fiance was so upset for being profiled based on nothing other than his appearance. It's one thing to THINK he might be doing something wrong, but to follow him out to the car and take pictures is to remove all doubt that she believed him to be guilty. After we spoke with her and she apologized we left the store. It could have ended there, but the coworker who was standing outside the whole time, I did not get her name, decided to call the police and give them a description of our car. So when the police arrive we explain the situation to them and they talk to the employees inside who tell them they didn't see him do anything wrong at all. The worker who was outside during the whole ordeal was now inside smiling while staring out the window as if anything about this situation could be even remotely amusing. The officer went inside to get me the information for a manager, but it was just a card with the number for the pharmacy and the name scratched out and relabled "James". I've contacted corporate about this. It was all so inappropriate and upsetting. He comes in here regularly, but now we will never be returning to shop here, and I will be sure to share our experience with those we know. We would rather make the drive outside of town to go elsewhere than support a business that treats people like this for absolutely no reason at all. read more

After all the time it took to set up a free flu shot appointment yesterday I went in today, 40 minutes early, waited outside, went in five minutes before my 1:10 p.m. appointment, got told the pharmacist wasn't back from lunch and to wait. I wasn't told WHERE to wait, just wait. As I waited I was literally surrounded by people, customers and employees both, who were not wearing masks during the pandemic even though Colusa County has required that since last month. As I was more and more surrounded, and saw one employee after the other with masks pulled under their noses or completely below their chins, let alone the stupid customers, I decided to cancel my appointment. I got back in mind and did that rather than just walking out, and the whole time I was there the pharmacist STILL wasn't back from lunch or ready to work. Rite AId TOLD ME what time to be there. 1:10. I showed up plenty early but their their pharmacist couldn't be bothered to be professional and keep the appointment. I walked out without my flu shot today after scheduling my whole dar around it, driving 12 miles there and 12 miles back for nothing, and so on. So I called Rite Aid when I got home and told them I wanted to completely close my account, never get anymore e-mails from them or anything, and why. I was told a complaint would be filed with the district manager and to expect a call within the next two days. The not being there when I was told to be was bad enough, but the no masks everywhere I looked was awful. And to be clear for anyone reading this, both people behind the pharmacy window DID have masks on, but various people stocking shelves, walking right next to me, or having discussions face to face with customers did not have masks on properly covering the nose and mouth both. I won't be shopping at RIte Aid anymore. Not for anything. This was totally unacceptable and I feel customers' health and safety are not taken seriously here, let alone the common courtesy of keeping an appointment that they themselves set up the time for and I just agreed to. read more

So I purchased a $47 razor for my face from here. I hadn't opened it for the first week because I didn't need to shave... after opening it and charging it to use, it dies with in the first 5 minutes of use...... ‍ so I figured I'd let it charge and so I did. A week later I really needed to shave and tried again. Same results it died right away. So I began to look for the receipt for this purchase. I ended up finding it in the dryer blacked out. Which I was like damn I can't return it. So I decided to call the corporate number to see if this was possible. After speaking with the customer service they indicated that I could in fact bring it back for a exchange/full refund since I had the statement on my bank account. Upon arriving and just to start off the conversation of returning this item I was immediately treated like complete crap for wanting to do a return. I tried to explain 2-3 times I spoke with customer service, and all her response was "No" so I had to ask for a manager.... The manager as well just came up to me said no and that it was against store policy which isn't what was directed to me by customer service...so I began to explain to her as to what was going on... she then explained I would have to wait till Monday????? Lol like that blew me away... because apparently the manager wasn't there. So apparently this store can't operate with out the manager there ‍ doesn't make any sense.. so I show her the date of purchase and dollar amount and that I was just going to call corporate again. That's when she decided to call the manager.. The "manager" ended up speaking with me over the phone saying they could look up the receipt which was fine and I was willing to wait patiently for. So the in store manager left on the phone to go "up stairs" to go find this receipt. I was not informed on how long I would be waiting. As I waited at the counter.. I was told by the First Lady to "move because I'm in the way" just like that she said that.. so rude and disrespectful... End result... I waited over 35 minutes with no response or a indication as to when I would be helped and when asked when she was to be back was givin a shrug.. so I informed her I was just going to call the corporate number which she replied she didn't care. PLEASE do not shop here.. they are over priced rude... and have a total lack of respect for people who shop here. read more

I call 30 minutes before I leave to make sure my prescriptions are good every time (I live 30 minutes away) and every time I still have to wait 40 minutes or longer for my perception. On top of that the employees are condescending and unapologetic about the fact that they lied about my prescription being filled by the time I get there. I would understand if it happened once or twice but it has happen over 20 times now.I will not be coming here anymore. read more

I don't recommend this rite aid pharmacy at all. Worst pharmacy ever. I order my medicine here and the first year was fine picking it up and they have it ready on time. But it's been two times these couple months where I order it and the next day they don't have it ready when the machine on the phone says it will be ready. But this third time was the worst. I ordered a refill on Friday and it said it would be ready that same day at 6pm. I was busy Saturday and didn't have time to pick it up the next day. So I went on Sunday around 12pm and they still not had my medicine ready. That's seriously unbelievable. I literally ordered two days ago and it still wasn't ready. I understand if maybe they could be short staffed but they didn't let me know or nothing. If I need to order a refill a week in advance they should let me know that because this is ridiculous. read more

Absolute horrible pharmacy. They always have new staff and this visit was no different. They did not advertise hours changing, they are still old hours on their website, and had I known this I would of gone to a different emergency room. Because of that my son went a two extra days with not antibiotics. I'd planned to call our normal pharmacy first thing monday morning, but out of the blue on a day they were closed I got a text my sons meds was ready. So I call and yes they're open so now I have to drive 30 mins back to the pharmacy. I'm glad they were open and got it done, but so much inconsistency. They've lost me as a customer because its constant and ongoing. On top of all this mess I get my sons antibiotics and it's not even mixed. BUT, the pharmacist was super nice and very helpful and had it taken care of right away. It was clear they gal was new and training so I couldn't be too hard on her. Over all though I will not be going back. read more

After 4 years having to go to this Horrible Pharmacy, I can't remain silent any longer! Rite-Aid in this little town is unlike the ones I have visited in living around the country (military), as most are good at what they do. Colusa, CA Rite-Aid needs First Aid! If they aren't dying, they may be causing others to die! Last time there, I was #20 inline. Some of us were in wheel chairs, others with walkers. Many people came in, saw the situation and LEFT! Without medicine! My wife and I are octogenarians, and need better access to medications. It's a shame when people have to relocate for such a reason. Problem doesn't appear to be with individual employees. It appears to be Management. For example; the way they store filled prescriptions looks like a disorderly kindergarten closet; over-crowded, some lying on the floor, others in various nooks and crannies. No wonder it takes a poor employee so long to locate a prescription. read more

We were able to stop here before a birthday party and pick up some birthday cards. Nice little Riteaid with lots of cards, candy, soda, and other drug store items. Festive holiday decor to buy as well. A good spot if you need to stop by and buy something in Colusa. read more
