I typically don't like to buy any items outside of medications at Walgreens since they tend to be a good bit higher than many local department stores, however they are very conveniently located, lots of parking, and never too busy. That being said, sometimes I just find myself here out of convenience. I usually wouldn't have thought to review a chain pharmacy, but my last two visits there changed my mind. On a recent change of insurance, it was brought to my attention by the pharmacist VIA telephone that one of my monthly scripts had a co-pay of roughly $100.00! Yikes! I said to put it on hold and I'd be in for the others. Upon my arrival she informed me she located a coupon on my behalf and the co-pay was now $0.00! And for the next year just a quarter of what it would have been without her dedication and assistance! So shout out to Walgreens, they have their customer service and the interests of their customers as their #1 priority...

Staff are absolutely super friendly, and apologetic about delays. They informed me that there is one pharmacist on staff who is both giving vaccines and approving medications. I was told my prescription would be filled in 20 minutes, and waited just under an hour, for it to actually be filled, because it was time sensitive. The same situation seemed to occur for several folks ahead of me. The biggest concern is that friendliness, and desire to provide a reasonable time frame for service (20 minutes) trumped transparency that I wasn't given until after I'd been waiting 40 minutes. Would I return to this pharmacy in the future? Quite possibly after the vaccine roll out is fairly complete. The price I was given was great, and again the service was remarkably friendly, but a three star experience for the time being,
