Definitely one of my favourite convenience stores in the area and now that it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area - Xi'an (try the lamb cumin) - I come here even more often. They're pretty friendly and they've got a pretty eclectic crowd coming in and out. Always busy. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. I've even had a sandwich from here recently when my favorite restaurant is closed down for a few weeks. Not bad at all. My previous review: I used to think this was called "Convent" and would come here looking for cute nuns, because I always wanted to date a Nun, but then who doesn't? I've been to this store many times, as I used to live right around the corner. Lots of cute girls shop at this store (Willow Ridge is the street of cute girls, btw), that is one of my defining memories. Another is that the prices are a little lower than you'd expect for a convenience store in a rich suburb, and they have some more interesting selections. Service is really nice, and after awhile, the guy knew my name. I doubt he does anymore because I moved away. It's a useful convenient store near Willow Ridge on NFB that sells all kinds of random stuff at typically marked up 7-11 prices, and helps the local community avoid trips down to Wegmans and the now-closed Walmart that was close by. It was exactly as the name suggests: convenient. With very friendly employees, too. It loses a star for the high prices but is a solid 4, and is still there, churning out late-night goodies to college kids and locals, not far from the wonderful Seoul Garden and Black Forest Saddler, a horse-seat shop. Lots of options here, plenty of bottled beverage choices as well. Walk here, take the train, or bring a friend to wait in the car while you run in. It's all paid parking around here; no dedicated lot.

There is an air pressure gauge. The convenience store is large and spacious inside. They cheerfully made change for me when I needed to use the tire air pressure gauge. Whenever I come in, the staff are super pleasant, super helpful and eager to please. I find the store to be well organized and usually everything is put away and looks good. It does seem that they are slightly short staffed at times because there are times when there are boxes in the aisles and haven't yet been put away. They also seemed to have given up the parking lot, and now allow the parking lot to be used by many people. It's very generous of them and they don't have to do that. It also does make it slightly more difficult when you're actually shopping there to get a parking spot. That's an unfortunate side effect of the neighbors not being respectful of who the parking is being provided for.

Their prices seem to have gone up since the last time I was here. Today though I had brought my mother in to do some shopping for Christmas in which she just happened to be buying all boxes of candy today so obviously it's good for candy for her too. On 8/6/2025 I used my debit card & was charged the price on the receipt on the left in the picture. So I said let me do some investigating . I go there today 8/7/2025 & pay with cash. I gave them a $20 bill for the same 2 items I bought yesterday & sure enough it was a different price because I paid with cash.. Illegal in NYS to charge more for using debit cards . Coming from…read moreWalgreens, at one point I was used to being treated like a huge inconvenience, going without prescriptions for a week, or just being told to "call every day" to see if something is ready (no one picks up there). I switched to cvs and everything had been so wonderful. My prescriptions are always ready in time, if there is a delay they let you know, and they will call you back within the hour if you send them a message. Everything here has been so great that the one time I had a minor issue I pulled a Karen, left a one star review,, and called corporate. It was because of a mistake that literally wasn't anyone's fault and I realized fairly quickly that this was a monthly thing for me before. I hung up before I got through to corporate and deleted what I had written. What I'm saying is- CVS Pharmacy treats you so well that you start to expect more than humanly possible. Now that I'm not being a monstrous person who expects the world to revolve around them I'm very appreciative of this place. If your prescription isn't ready yet, you will wait ten minutes maximum. I highly suggest downloading the app though because they will always inform you when things will be ready and it will always be accurate. The staff is kind, eager to help, and knowledge. They also have some of the awesome pharmacy staff from Rite Aid which made me so happy. CVS is farther away than Walgreens but I *happily* go there instead because that small inconvenience saves me from a million large inconveniences. I honestly forgot that I literally dreaded going to pick up my meds each month because of how poorly Walgreens treated customers. Expanding my radius and going to CVS is one of the best decisions I have made as far as customer service/ retail experiences go.
