I stopped at the Wegmans on Niagara Falls Boulevard on my way to my aunt's house to pick up snacks and beverages for watching the Bills game and it was exactly what we needed. Wegmans is hands down my favorite grocery store and this location is basically just as good as the others. The store is huge and incredibly well stocked, with a great selection of pretty much everything from snacks, drinks, fresh produce, to prepared foods, and more. Prices feel reasonable for the quality and variety. Wegmans is the kind of place where you can easily grab a few essentials or end up browsing longer than planned (which always happens to me). During my January visit, everything was clean, organized, and easy to navigate, and checkout was smooth despite it being a busy time. Grateful for grocery stores for keeping us supplied during COVID-19. Although I typically am not as much of a fan of the larger stores (and typically frequent Aldi's, TJ's, etc), this has been my store of choice for a while when living closer to the area. Although it's smaller than some of the other Wegmans - this is actually a plus for me as it's easier to find certain items. They have always been very easy to work with customer service when I've had to return certain produce for being spoiled early (this is rare, but it has happened). All in all, it's a smaller store--but has what you'd expect as far as the larger quantity of goods that you'd expect from Wegmans. I did have trouble finding a tamarind concentrate when I came here and had to go elsewhere-but otherwise, definitely a solid Wegmans. read more

One thing about this location is that it is very slow. If you're paying with cash, get ready to wait forever because it's as if everyone chats all day and forgets to check those out. Another thing is that they lack variety. The hot bar and all the take out items including soups are very lackluster. I also notice that the bakery section does not have items that other locations carry. Such as tres leche. Not even for Cinco de Mayo... yikes! lastly, the sub shop is okay. My only complaint is the main lead is very cocky and gives obnoxious vibes. Definitely laying off the subs for now. The positive is the buzz cafe section, I enjoy the breakfast sandwiches as they are made fresh upon request! Very filling & a great way to start your morning. All in all, I would much rather take the extra drive out to the Wegmans on Maple, also off the NF Blvd, as they have much greater variety and better service. read more

I like this Wegmans location, I seem to forget that their 24 hours unlike the one about 5 minutes up the road. I tend to avoid this area, and NF Blvd as often as I can. But I do love how spacious the parking lot is. This location isn't a mega store, so the walk from your car into the store and vice versa isn't too far of a walk. They also have many different places that hold carts, which is a plus. I love that this Wegmans location has their bottle/can return right inside the store. It's great for someone (like myself) who works long hours at night and doesn't get out until after midnight. Other locations have a secondary facility that usually closes at 10PM. read more

Come one Wegs!!! Stop ripping people off. 2 times now I have had to go back to this store for being double charged at the check out. They reweigh my already weighed produce that has the sticker. Then the scanner picks up my tag and charges me a 2nd time for the same item. Also of note, the scales at the register calculate more weight than the self weighed scales. Today it added 10 cents more. That may not seem like much but multiply that by a million customers. The scales should be calibrated correctly so watch out when checking out! Seems illegal that they are not. Also, when I went to the service desk to get a refund on the double charge, she credited me the tag weight and not the correct over weighed double charged item. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience in a Wegmans, this one is no exception. Everything is always clean and welcoming - it is truly a top notch grocery store. The shelves are well stocked, the isles are well lit, and all of the fresh food is exactly that, fresh. Employees are knowledgeable about their products, and you can always ask someone where something is, or for a recommendation and get an actual answer. More grocery store should be like this, this is grocery shopping done right. Not much different than any other Wegman's you've ever been to. This store seemed unorganized. They still have the checkout lines sectioned off because of Covid-19, so I ended yo waiting in line over 15 minutes. A worker then tells you which cash register to go to. read more

My friends got me all this flowers for my graduation form wegmans . The flowers stayed more than 2 weeks fresh I loved them so much :) really enjoy them ! I know usually you are looking for review about the grocery and we all know wegmans is amazing grocery store but flowers ? I always saw wegmans flowers in really good price and with have them all was something else. Even that wegmans is a bit pricy but you would enjoy shopping there. You can find everything there and most important is that they have the best staff. They r always have such a nice and friendly staff. And I believe this wegmans has one of the best and the nicest backers. The other day was our New Persian New year and I wanted to surprise my friends with having written happy new year in Farsi . This is a nice medium sized location, beside Kohl's. The parking is very convenient. The place is clean and has great stock on the shelves. Staff is friendly and check outs are always quick. I stopped by here when I realized I was fairly close by at the Farmers Market. I knew what I was looking for and they had it out front. I picked up 2 of the large mums they have that I was not able to find anywhere else in town. Only one fit Ito the cart easily so I walked in hoping I could buy two and pick up the second outside. I was able to! So many places would have sent me back it for the second with some sort of comment about "inventory control" or the like. Not here, not today. Made it easy to pull up and load the mums. I did venture to the bakery to pick up a bagel, but it was right in my path from the door to the cashier so I can't really review the rest of the store. 1879 read more

I've heard it asked before and I guess now I have to ask too, how come the $6 meal is $8? It's barely worthwhile at $6. Fried chicken comes with two pieces and two sides for $6. Not bad, not if you like skin, fat and bones. Terrible, no meat on either piece. With the chicken Marsala you get to pay $2 more for one piece of chicken but at least it's boneless and edible. Mostly. Next time I have $6 to spend on dinner I'll go to Mighty Taco. At least I'll get enough food to get gas. read more

(SUB SHOP REVIEW) I will officially never go here for a sub again. IDK what happened but It's gone to shit. The past 3 subs have been god awful. Untoasted and if they were toasted it was for maybe 5 seconds. & the driest sub I have ever eaten. I ask for BBQ chicken finger & get maybe a squirt MAX of BBQ sauce. I've had to add the sauce in myself the past few times. God forbid I ask them for extra sauce because they literally don't put any sauce on the fingers, and then they charge extra. This past sub I ate I took apart and it looked like they didn't even add any sauce or mayo. If they are going to continue to be stingy with ingredients like that I will be stingy and take my business elsewhere. No more overpriced dry subs. Their hot bar is never full. I will go to this Wegmans on my lunch break and leave hungry because they consistently slack on the hot bar. Today I wanted hot soup and there wasn't any. Sometimes I'll think "ok I'll give this Wegmans a shot today" and again another disappointment. I used to love wegmans. They have everything and it is really easy to find what I need. If no one's around, you can go on their website and the website will tell you what aisle it's in. Great! But the past year this place really dumped out. - Tomatoes are never fresh anymore. They're always mushy and bruised. No. - They leave rotten garlic for sale. Yes, there was not a one that did not have big black spots on it from being rotten. - No family sized rice crispies for a month. A month! I get you guys run out but come on now. I asked about it and the stocker rolled his eyes at me! - Numerous times we have purchased ground beef that expires the very next day! All the ones are still in the case. - All of the wegmans brand long green beans frozen had no dates of expiration. I let a cashier know, a week later it was still there. Then I let the desk know, a week later they were still there! Needless to say, I didn't buy it. In short if this continues, I'll either go to the Alberta store or just tops. I went in this a.m and purchased doughnuts, thinking I'd surprise my colleagues... I ended up surprised by a lack of freshness and quality. Each of my colleagues talked about how the doughnuts must have been from the day prior and when I tasted mine, I agreed. I am so disappointed, I would never expect this from a store of Wegmans "caliber ". I could have spent my money anywhere but I picked wegmans thinking I wouldn't be disappointed. Today I lost all faith in humanity. While standing in line today at Wegmans this absolute lunatic came up behind me, slammed her cart into my lower back, and then proceeded to slam her items down on the conveyor belt as hard as she possibly could. She threw all of her items on top of mine for what reason I don't know. I can only assume she is severely mentally disturbed. To accommodate this pathetic women I moved my items. I then watch as she takes my to-go food box and tries to sneak onto her own items! So basically she stole my lunch. Throughout this entire experience this sad women was arguing with HERSELF. Lunatic. This is not even the worse part of this experience. The cashier that was helping us happened to have down syndrome. This women belittled and abused this poor girl. Rolling her eyes, scoffing at her because she was moving a little slow, giving her dirty looks. As I walked away I could hear the women having an attitude with her and call her 'pathetic'. Ma'am you are pathetic. It's one thing to be rude and basically insane to a stranger but it's completely intolerable to be nasty and abusive to a cashier whose done nothing wrong to you. You Ma'am are a disgrace and it makes me feel physically ill that people like you are allowed to walk this earth with the rest of us. I commend this poor cashier for how professional she was while being abused by this thing. read more

Who doesn't love Wegs? Ok maybe Tops people, but we don't speak to them. I was thrilled upon my last move to find I would be closer than ever before to a Wegmans. Though this location is definitely not the largest, and is missing some staples from my pervious Wegmans, it's still a decent location. One thing I must suggest, if you are not using the Wegmans app, download it immediately! Grocery shopping has never been easier when using the app. You can make a list with the exact items needed, it separates and lists the items depending on the store you chose, and it adds up the list to the dollar so you know exactly how much you will be spending on your shopping trip. You also can scan items to automatically add to your list, so you won't have any surprises at the end of your trip where you spend $100 more than you planned (guilty). The one complaint I have about this Wegmans location is the cafe. There are many things you cannot get at this Wegmans that are available at other Wegmans, i.e. the burrito bar. I also am always wishing the hot bars stayed open later. There are also a few products, especially in Nature's Market, that you cannot get at this Wegmans. Also, no self-checkout,, and I love self-checkout for those quick trips where you need to grab just one or two items. All in all, you can't go wrong with Wegmans. I wouldn't choose anywhere else for my grocery shopping needs. read more

Cafe section: I give it four stars. The food is decent, but there is not as large of a variety as there is at the Wegmans on Alberta Drive in Amherst. The salad bar is small and it never seems to be full - there are a lot of empty spots whenever I go there around lunch or dinner time. Also, the chinese food is bland. If you want good chinese food, go to Red Pepper on Maple Rd. instead. Groceries: I give it four-and-a-half stars. I love the variety at Wegmans, and the Wegmans brand products are always very good. The only thing that irritates me about the store is that the layout is constantly changing. It took me 20 min. to find canned pumpkin last night, and there wasn't an employee to ask in sight. I LOVE WEGMAN's. I now live in Boston and I miss the variety and options I had at Wegmans. People always compared it to the TOPs down the street price wise (Even the tops used to price compare). But its worth every penny. What I really love are the Subs, I've had them multiple times and dearly miss them. It was a collaboration with the creator of DiBellas Old Fashion Subs, and there sub rolls are really good. And the only two options are white or wheat. My favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Finger sub. They are never stingy with their toppings and load it on. Their sushi is very good too, and the bakery has a wide array of delectable pastries, from the Fruit tarts to the chocolate Danishes. I love that you can really get everything you need at one stop, the prices are good, the selection is great and the quality is nothing but the best. The staff has always been helpful and I have never had any trouble shopping here. I agree with the sub standard Chinese food, but that's what you get off a buffet. But even the cold cuts from the deli and the fresh dinners are always different and very fresh and appetizing. I wish they expanded all over, like wal-mart , except MUCH MUCH better... read more

Consider this a 3.5 Wegmans has everything. I love it but the hunt can be time consuming. The only problem is finding what you are looking for. From coming from a place with pretty terribly kept super markets. I love this place. They make great subs and have everything. Well i dont know if they have everything but all i go in there for is subs, small essentials near the pharmacy portion and the never ending beer room. My girlfriend was more impressed with the amount of food and fresh goods they have here. It is well organized in my opinion and clean. The staff is super helpful and are able to locate anything you may need when you ask them. They have a food court ranging from subs, sushi, and hot meals. The food court also has wifi, which is a solid place for studying on the upper level if you have to study up there. This is how i wish all supermarkets would be.... or atleast the ones near me would be like... i miss this place already. read more
