I've gotten kind of spoiled by how great they treat their customers at this pharmacy. Coming from Walgreens, at one point I was used to being treated like a huge inconvenience, going without prescriptions for a week, or just being told to "call every day" to see if something is ready (no one picks up there). I switched to cvs and everything had been so wonderful. My prescriptions are always ready in time, if there is a delay they let you know, and they will call you back within the hour if you send them a message. Everything here has been so great that the one time I had a minor issue I pulled a Karen, left a one star review,, and called corporate. It was because of a mistake that literally wasn't anyone's fault and I realized fairly quickly that this was a monthly thing for me before. I hung up before I got through to corporate and deleted what I had written. What I'm saying is- CVS Pharmacy treats you so well that you start to expect more than humanly possible. Now that I'm not being a monstrous person who expects the world to revolve around them I'm very appreciative of this place. If your prescription isn't ready yet, you will wait ten minutes maximum. I highly suggest downloading the app though because they will always inform you when things will be ready and it will always be accurate. The staff is kind, eager to help, and knowledge. They also have some of the awesome pharmacy staff from Rite Aid which made me so happy. CVS is farther away than Walgreens but I *happily* go there instead because that small inconvenience saves me from a million large inconveniences. I honestly forgot that I literally dreaded going to pick up my meds each month because of how poorly Walgreens treated customers. Expanding my radius and going to CVS is one of the best decisions I have made as far as customer service/ retail experiences go. read more

Came 15 minutes before closing and they said they were closed. They still let us buy something so that's why I'm keeping the one star. Needed to purchase medicine for my sinus congestion and MARY was being rude. My crew and I were saying "have a great rest of your night" and apologizing for coming in 15 minutes before closing. as we were leaving she said with her chest "goodbye. come at earlier hours next time" with an annoyed, unamused, petty tone of voice. Keep in mind, we spent no more than 2 minutes IN the store. Either change the hours on the website or already have the doors locked before getting upset at customers for coming in at the time that isn't convenient for the WORKERS. If your job is that awful, genuinely get another one. You don't like customer service Mary? Then get a janitorial job, they have no requirements to talk to customers. read more

Came here to get Lindt brand chocolate on sale 2/$5. CVS is the only store I seem to find this particular flavor chocolate at, so when it's on sale I stock up. This store is usually very quiet and the employees are always nice read more

This CVS is near Wegmans on Amherst and Elmwood. Its large and has a terrific parking lot. Its a little rundown, but it carries all the things you want and need anyway. Its also NEVER busy. EVER. Weird because its a very busy area and corner, but this store you can pop in and out of quickly and easily. Got to love that. Its also well lit inside and out. read more

I have been going here for decades. They have some of the best deals around on everything from almonds to batteries. The pharmacy staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I consider them a fantastic resource. If you sign up for a CVS card you will get a cascade of coupons every time you shop. Pair that with their weekly sales and you can really save a small fortune. Once you get the card, which takes about a minute at the counter, you are enrolled in their extra bucks rewards program that gives you cash back every quarter. I also appreciate how it's a user-friendly sized store, not like some of the other super-sized pharmacy chains. That means I can get out quickly. read more

The staff has always been nice and very prompt when I shop here. The store is hardly ever busy which is great if you just need to run in and get a few items. Their pharmacy staff is always prompted and informative, as they should be. I have seen a few random/strange people come walking through the door but never had any issues with any of them. Was skeptical approaching this CVS because the lot was completely empty at 6:00 on a Tuesday night. Primetime for folks coming home from work, students getting out of class, etc. I walked in and there was nobody in site. It was odd. The aisles were very clean however and they were fully stocked with loads of different products. I finally found a worker organizing one of the aisles. I had to utilize the pharmacy, needed some Vicks Vapo Rub and inquired with the gentleman behind the counter. He was kind and helpful, tried explaining different cold remedies to me but the more he tried talking about their products the more he confused himself. Bought a vaporizer, vapo rub and a thermometer for $41. Make sure you get a CVS card if you're shopping here, you get lots of great coupons. One rule I didn't like, if you come into the store with a bag or backpack you need to leave it at the front of the store. While I understand the concept, I don't like it! read more
