STAY AWAY for vaccinations. Need to radically improve Customer Service on CoVid Walk-ins, especially compared to Giant and CVS pharmacies. Twice I've been in the 4810 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA Rite-Aid found them decidedly UNHELPFUL. Aside from seeming annoyed to dispense shots (vs scripts), they are doing all that they can to discourage walk-ins. With NO customers in sight and 3-4 people behind the counter, today I was told I "needed to wait 20 mins over there," presumably to let the material warm up(?). I said I would like the Moderna booster and that I will run out to the PO in the meantime and be back in 20. They did not ask for information and I spoke with two people. Came back in 15 mins, met one departing employee, and stood behind the customer at the window to make my presence known, then sat down. There was a steady set of customers and each one took "forever" to process (that needs improvement too), so I waited, making eye contact with the two main CS people a couple times when the service window cleared. Finally, with no one in line (or at the window outside) I inquired whether they were ready to give me my shot, it being 65 minutes since my first appearance. They said "No, you have to wait 20 minutes," to which I replied I've waited over an hour. Then they said I should have given them my information (THEY NEVER ASKED), and it would be 20 MORE minutes. I left. Please get your sh!t together at this location. This confirmed my impression from the run-around they gave me and later my wife at the start of CoVid vaccinations the year prior. Giant's Pharmacy on SR724 was awesome on walk-ins by contrast, for three of us, while we were shopping. CVS has been great for every shot, scheduled or walk-in, although my particular location didn't carry Moderna...alas. read more

Terrible women's bathroom! Pharmacy employees are rude with the exception of a few. Drive thru service takes forever, sometimes it isn't working, and the credit card scanners at checkout freeze. read more

No need to go to the pharmacy in West Lawn as they are closing. They should hire the staff from there as I found those people always polite, very attentive and informative caring about your needs any time of the day. It's a shame the corporate end of it treats them as a throw away after years of their dedication to this business. Did you know corporate can refuse to order your medication as they choose .. not by preference to what works for the patient. I was not aware they had a medical staff (doctors) at that level and to evaluate what your medical needs may be, to disregard your diagnosis from you physician. I will never go to another Rite Aide for anything....They don't deserve our service read more

W. Penn Ave. location has been understaffed for MONTHS! In the meantime, it takes an hour or more to pick up prescriptions while standing in line w people coughing, only half of whom are masked, and they closed the drive through--IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC!!! The store itself is nice and clean and with the recent renovations it's even more welcoming. My complaint is the ladies restroom. It seems that they forgot to renovate them too. The toilet bowl was brown, the floor was wet, and the sink is either dirty or stained brown. read more

Clueless people here. Each time I try to get a prescription filled here, I'm told to come back in an hour or two. I come back a few hours later. Still not ready, try again in another 4 hours. It was still not ready at that point. My daughter was very sick and needed medicine for strep throat and they wouldn't help. I ended up writing a letter and complained. The district manager says, by policy they have "15 minutes" from the time you give them a script to fill it. Every time I fill a prescription here, I have the same issues so I am always calling the district manager. Their employees hide behind the counter and vanish, that's why the prescriptions aren't getting filled. read more

staff in pharmacy seemed to be "bothered" with me as a customer. They don't even look at you when they speak to you. I own a business and if I were to see that in my business, there'd be hell to pay. When I asked if there was a problem, another employee actually apologized and said "it was just a long day". I too worked a 11 hour day and still have the energy to be polite. I usually use the one in West Lawn Pa where the staff is incredible. I won't make that mistake again. read more

First time going to this store since moving in the area was followed around the store then told by an employee to not park my car on handicap with out a sticker up however my license plate has handicap symbol and my sticker in the window as well not sure if this store is racist but I felt it to be weird that the employee knew which car was mine and took time to get off the register and go look to see if my handicap sticker was up I will never go to this store again and will be filing a complaint with corporate read more
