I have a 2024 Subaru cross trek. Unfortunately my front windshield already got a crack. When I called my insurance company they tried to put me with some fly by night place. I knew about Rite Touch's impeccable customer relations. So I told my insurance company that's who I wanted. Right away I got a call from Liz the receptionist at Rite Touch, she was very friendly and helpful in the phone. We made sure the glass was OEM and that I was to get a calibration done. She said they would take care of everything. We made an appointment for the next day and Josh and Travis arrived to install it. They were very professional and polite. They had all the proper equipment and they came to me at my convenience. The installers had gloves and used special supplies. They didn't rush things and made sure the glass went in perfectly. I needed an auto glass replacement. I decided to not file a claim over concerns my rates could go up, even though it's "free" in Florida. I contacted Audi Clearwater first, who handled the whole thing in a really shady manner; they gave me someone to call and made it very clear I should tell him they referred me (warning sign #1). Guy answers "auto glass" and instead of asking about my vehicle, asks who referred me, I say Audi Clearwater, he then presses me for which person (warning sign #2), and finally when I get a quote out of him, it's over $1200 (warning sign #3). I contact Safelite thanks to their endless advertising, their price is $750, I book it. No wait, they call me a few days later, it's now $1050, and will take ten days. Finally I remembered my front window replacement, call Rite Touch on a Friday, they say if I'm okay with aftermarket glass, which I was, they could do the replacement at my house on a Monday for $450 out the door. They did the work this morning and there were no issues whatsoever. I wish I had remembered to call them first, as now I've had two perfect jobs done by them. In any case, I did some research and the Audi glass is about $600 parts, aftermarket is about $300. So Audi dealer's recommendation, for $1200, was a markup of about $600. Safelite at $1050 and Audi glass was a markup of $450. Rite Touch at $450 was only $150 markup for the roughly two hours labor it took, materials, and them rolling a van and two people out to my house, so I consider that a very fair price. They completely cleaned up after themselves too. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!! I was appalled following my recent encounter(s) with the receptionist, Kathy. In reaching out initially via telephone, I was told that I would need to have the electronics recalibrated once the windshield was replaced, then after a pause she said, "I just found out that Ford just changed that, and their windshield will automatically recalibrate with the new glass, so you don't need to do that after all". Ok, great...it's a 2018 vehicle, but perhaps Kathy is relatively new at her job, so whatever. I then asked what the upcharge would be if I wanted an OEM windshield. Kathy said that she did not know exactly but would "check into that and hear right back from me." I did not hear "right back" by that evening, so I called that evening (afterhours) and left a voicemail, again requesting the information. After no return call, I called back two days later (the second telephone contact now) and was castigated by the incredibly rude receptionist--once again, "Kathy"--who interrupted my every response, scolding me that she had "spoken with me several times now" regarding this issue, but then in her overbearing conversation changed her story that in fact, she spoke "to my wife who approved the up-charge and ordering of an OEM windshield!". Nothing could be further from the truth, as "Kathy" does not have my wife's phone number, and if she did, my wife did not know anything about my windshield and has not spoken to ANYONE at Rite Touch Glass regarding this issue. WE HAVE TELEPHONE RECORDS PEOPLE! If I knew what the charges would be, why would I be wasting my time leaving an afterhours message making the same query??? The receptionist Kathy's lack of professionalism, self-righteousness, rudeness, interruptions, and accusations of me lying were enough to steer me away from this grease fire. Their actual work may be impeccable, but the outright abusive responses and doubling down on outright lies to me as a consumer simply requesting information was well beyond what anyone would tolerate. If this is the best image they put forth, I certainly will not entrust them to work on my vehicle. Business owners, be aware of the image your reception staff is giving your operation! There are many other businesses which will happily offer you more professional--and certainly less abusive treatment--than this outfit. read more

I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and quick turnaround on my windshield replacement. They were in ny insurance's approved list so I simply submitted my request through my insurance app and they called me in less than an hour. They had to special order my particular windshield and were very prompt in delivery. More importantly, they arrived exactly when they said they would; which is HUGE in my book. If we ever have to get another windshield replaced, we will definitely use Rite Touch. read more

I bought my car 3 years ago and it had several chips in the windshield. I could have replaced it under insurance right away, but it didn't really bother me. I developed a crack and it ran all the way across the windshield, so it was time to act. I prefer to support local companies, especially because this is 2020!!! I called, spoke to a nice lady and she said I had to call my insurance company first, but did mention that they were a preferred vendor of my insurance. When I called my insurance, they automatically transferred me to SafeLite as they handle all of the claims for my insurance company. But part of the process allowed me to choose a provider, so I chose Rite Touch. Within about an hour, I received a call from Rite Touch setting an appointment, which we set for the next morning.. Eric called 20 minutes before coming and arrived on time at 9ish. They went right to work. They cleaned everything up, showed me the work, had me sign a few forms, and they were gone. I have a 2005 Honda CR- v and the total bill was $311.85. I've seen lots of quotes (not the same car), but often they are at least double and sometimes triple that! It is an aftermarket windshield, but it looks great. Support those in our community. Don't send your money to some Corporate office in some other state. I know it's insurance money in most cases, but still, keep it local! read more

They gave me additional options besides a full replacement. I saved more then $150 and they did a better job then the nation chain. I called to inquire about appointments and was told by the very nice gal on the phone that they could come to me! Bonus. Sold. Book it. Dan arrived a couple of days later -on the appointment day- and had called twice that morning to keep me posted on his ETA. Very much appreciated. He had everything with him, assistant included, including a replacement windshield in the truck if needed. He got to work right away and discovered the source of a small leak. He then discovered and bigger non windshield related issue. He went above and beyond to temporarily patch that problem. He kept working all the issues in 100 degree mid day weather. My back glass on my car exploded into a million smithereens so I called SafeLite immediately. They took my details and said they would call me back with a quote and a date for repair. I decided to call the dealership that services my car just to get a quote from them to be able to compare the SafeLite quote. I was told that they don't handle glass at the dealership, but they could refer me to Rite Touch. Called Rite Touch immediately and they took all my details and told me they would call me back as soon as they found the Audi glass with a quote and a date for the repair. They called me back less than 15 minutes after my initial call. I was told since it was a special order (I didn't want aftermarket glass) that the glass wouldn't be in until Thursday morning and a technician would be calling me to schedule an appointment. No problem. SafeLite never called me back, by the way. I couldn't have been happier with the customer service when I spoke with Rite Touch. The phone rep was very polite and very down to business. The technician, Stephen, and I set up a meeting time as we live on a military base. He arrived promptly when he said he would. I escorted him to my home. He was super nice, super polite and very informative considering all the questions I asked. He was also very personable and we had nice conversation throughout his visit. He clearly had an excellent work ethic and was meticulous in his work. He cleaned up the inside of my car and the finished job was outstanding! The glass back window of my Audi separated from the convertible top. Every other place said I had to replace the entire top ($4,000+). These guys used special equipment (custom-build clamps, suction cups, special adhesive and so on) to re-seal the glass to the convertible top. It looks perfect. Less than $300. read more
