There are a lot of bars that have karaoke, but for some reason I keep going to Mikey's and I have no idea why! Here are some reasons: - A perfect stage with plenty of space for your karaoke fans to dance along too - A vast collections of songs...you'll find something that you like - There's a couple of TVs that display the words of the current song...so everyone can sing a long! - Everyone there always has a good time It's a strange mix of people that come to this bar, but we all have the goal to sing our favorite songs. The bar itself is pretty spacious, with a couple of pool tables and darts, and plenty of high tables to sit or lean on. The beer selection is kind of lacking, and generally a little more expensive to other bars. I'll admit, I usually don't drink much when I come here, I'd rather sing. If you like sweet tasting, boozy drinks then I would recommend getting the Volcano. A downside about the karaoke is that it can take well over an hour to sing your next song. One reason is because they have a lot of people that like to sing. Also their rotation is kind of funky. If I request my second song, and then someone after me requests their first song, then that person will go before me.

If you grew up in the area, this is the place you come to go creep on everyone you haven't seen since high school. At least a handful of people here always look like they (still?) watch Jersey Shore marathons. It is the capitol of people trying too hard. All of that is in Kittner's past and it has reinvented itself to please the masses. The most noticeable difference is the crowd that has made kittner's its new home. It is officially the perfect college student watering hole. The enviornemnt has changed significantly. If someone is too drunk, they get the boot. If there is a fight, all those involved are removed but the party keeps on going! However, I am a regular at kittners and I have only seen one fight and it was handled smoothly and effeciently so that the rest of the guests were almost clueless that it was even going on. Students can come here and feel safe and ready to let loose. Another round of beer please! The drinks are fair priced, but tip the bartenders well and you will be pleasantly surprised with extra alcohol in your glass or a free shot here or there. In reference to other reviews , of course the bartenders are good-looking. How on earth are they supposed to make money? But they are well-versed in bartending skills and can make anything you ask them. If they don't know off the top of their head, they just ask! We can't expect them to know everything right? Let's give the bartenders a round of applause. They work had, give you fair drinks, and look darn good doing it. My one complaint of Kittners is that it does not have a dance floor. . They play excellent music ( which may or not be the same playlist everytime I've been there....but hey I'm not complaining) that makes my friends and I want to get up and dance, but, er, where? There is a lot of awkward dancing and swaying near the bar, by tables, and most often just in the middle of the walking path. Despite the lack of a dancing oulet for those who love to express themselves after a drink or two or ten, Kittner's delivers in just about every way. That being said, this bar isn't for everyone. There is not a single bar around the world that could please everyone, but Kittner's sure does try! And for that, I will keep going back. She was smoking cigarettes on the bus. She blamed us for smoking on the bus when she was and told us we could. We went to the casino and left the bus and decided to gamble as well. She wanted tacos late at night (we were supposed to be back at 2 AM). She said not to tell her owner that we would be late and that she would cover for us. The tacos were 15 mins out of the way. We did not get back till 3 AM. Then she went and picked up her son - who proceeded to puck (as she told me the next morning, as she was our driver the next day). She returned the bus at 4 AM, which we were already home for - but we got charged an extra two hours. The next day we were out and about at bars. She sat on the bus, as most of the time this is how this process goes. We had been through things like this similarly. When we headed to dinner, we told her where we were going. She decided to come in, invite herself to dinner, did not ask, and ordered what we were eating (pre-picked fish broil). She did not offer to pay for it. She left and was gambling. When we wanted to leave, she was still playing on the video slot machine. She was the last one to leave our "group." We tipped her generously, despite all of this, on both days. Yet she had the audacity to text her boss and tell him we did not. And we had receipts to prove it. Just a disaster. On top of us getting charged for extra time and two cigarette burns - which none of our group smokes. Would not recommend it.

My friends watch all of the Packer games at this bar and are very loyal customers. As we were packing up our leftover food, my friend put one chicken patty in his crockpot to save for later since he didn't eat it while watching the game. Some random lady complained and told the owner who then came over and yelled at my friend and told him he was never welcome in his bar again. I would NEVER recommend this bar to anyone. My friend was treated so unfairly by the owner! My friend made fabulous homemade baked beans for the party and has spent a ton of money at this bar throughout the season. I can't believe he was treated so poorly by this bar owner for something so ridiculous. This was so wrong that I felt this review needed to be posted so that anyone thinking about going to bar would think twice before patronizing this type of establishment. I know I won't be back. There are much better bars in Green Bay to watch a football game!
