Checked out the menu and decided to give this place a shot in our first night in Fornalutx and it…read morewas a great experience. We were sat immediately when we arrived at our reservation time at the only remaining empty table. We ordered a bottle of red based on the server recommendation and it was a solid choice. Bread and dips was interesting - normally not a huge fan of olives on their own but it included a tapenade that was olive based and it had interesting flavor along with a separate dip of an aioli. The rest of the dishes were amazing. We started with the Fritto Misto which included several tempuras fried items including squid, fish and prawn. Next we had the honey chorizo sausage and it had just the right amount of sweet to go along with the spice of the sausage ball. The fourth dish was the duck spring rolls and it had a great sweet an spicy Asian sauce along with the wonderful spring roll. The duck and spicy spring roll crust worked well together. Finally we had the lamb kebab and it was a solid entry. The meat and toppings were great, but the pita fell apart a bit. Tables next to us had the pig belly and It looked delicious - if I was not so full then that would have been our next dish! Others in the restaurant raved about the dessert which included 3 items, but we didn't try it. The service was a delight. The server helped make selections and also ended the night with giving us an extra glass of wine on the house at the end of the evening (I think it was a left over bottle that they did not want to go to waste). I highly recommend Molòn if you find yourself in Fornalutx and want to try a wide variety of items. Unfortunately I ate the food and didn't take any pictures that would do this place justice. Sorry about that. Hopefully future reviewers will take some photos of you can find a few shots on a some other review sites. Edit- snapped a photo of the restaurant from a different night to provide at least a look of the place.

My waiter was well versed in the menu and took the time to explain the significance of the local ingredients used throughout each course, which added a lot to the experience. I opted for the regular tasting menu at €47.50 and added a bottle of white Mallorcan wine for €24.50, both excellent values. They open with xeixa and carob bread, and from there every course delivered. The dogfish and the goat croquette were personal highlights and absolutely worth trying. The dessert was a strong finish to a well constructed meal. One small note at the end: when finished, you head inside to the host to request the check rather than waiting at the table. For the price, this is a fantastic experience. There's something special about watching local ingredients handled by people who clearly know and respect the region's culinary traditions. Absolutely worth a visit.

I was visiting Sóller solo between trips with my family, and I wanted to treat myself to a nice…read moredinner out at a Michelin star restaurant, so I made a reservation at C'an BoQueta (Home of the Wide-Mouth Person haha!) The food and presentation were fabulous. I enjoyed the beef cheek confit and the trio of chocolates the most, tho the truffle mellow rice with marinated red prawn was delightful as well. The chocolate trio consisted of a small brownie, a dollop of chocolate ganache, and a white chocolate with pistachios--just the right amount of sweets for me. The wine was okay, and I paid €12.50 extra for the Sóller prawns stew, but would not do that again as I found the 2 shrimp in a thick brown sauce to be tasty but a bit bland. The reason they lost a star is because they sat me in a room all by myself. They apologized saying the outdoor patio was full, tho there were some open tables presumably for other reservations, but it really dimmed the whole experience for me. Right before the chocolates came out, the server was kind to offer a spot outside that had opened up due to a no-show reservation, but I was on my last dish of 6 and didn't want to dirty another table, so my only dinner companions were the servers coming and going to the kitchen and bar. I would return, but I would definitely want to sit on the back patio.

Food-wise and price, it's a 3/5. We were a group of 6 and each got the 3 Plate often, so this review and pictures are based on what I got but other dishes I tried. The Oyster, Sea Bass & Shrimp Ceviche, and the Tuna Tartar were all delicious. Fresh, well-flavored, and a great way to start the meal. The Filet of Tenderloin Beef was also decent but nothing out of the ordinary. The Filet of Local Sea Bass had a nice crisp but the portion was so tiny. Both desserts were a miss for me, they weren't anything to write home about. It seems like they have other menu items based on what other tables were ordering but we only were aware of the Pre Fixe Menu. If you're in Mallorca, you could skip this or just come for a drink and light bite.
