There was a covered porch overlooking the green, rolling hills. Inside were two rooms and we were the only 2 visitors. The girl was friendly, and we really enjoyed hearing the history of the family. My daughter was with us and the girl gave her an activity with snacks. That was so thoughtful and a nice touch. My husband and I have different taste in wine and there were options for both of us. The lady then said, "okay we'll do this" which was their Riesling...LADY. Did you not hear me say no more sweet wines? We kind of had to stamp our feet and say no more. But, the dry wines were quite good - they had a nice unoaked Chard and their Cab Franc was really good, but my husband preferred the Cab Sauv so we got that instead. The bottles were $14-$17 a piece, which I am happy to pay to support a local winery. Even if they try to make me drink blueberry wine. Gah.
