This was my favorite place to eat in Como. The Diablo pizza was amazing and I can't wait to visit again!

The pizza is tremendous. We debated on many different options but it was always going to be the pizza. We had about six different flavors at our huge table and everyone was pleased. There are no menus so bring a phone, drinks are reasonably priced and despite the heat outside, the upstairs was a pleasant place to enjoy our meal. Service is uneven but still efficient and two standouts were the vegetarian option and the tuna. Tuna on a pizza might sound odd but our friend was pleasantly surprised and pleased he went outside his comfort zone. read more

Wonderful outdoor seating with awnings. Very nice wait staff who helped us in English. The pizza (Dolce Vita) was really good and split, it filled us both for 11euro! Table costs 5euros but well worth it. read more

What a great pizza. The crust was super thin the way we like it. I wish you could get pizza like this in the states. The 4 cheese pizza was amazing and super fresh. The Aperitivo (happy hour) is great and not to be missed. I would actually go on and suggest the Riva aperitif I as the best in town. Riva is open all year round and tends to be open even when other restaurants are closed during special days. The pizza is great and one of the best in Como area; the service is very good although sometimes when full it slips a little. read more

The perfect pizza!! We have tasted several different types of pizza in Italy and this one is (by far) our favorite...thin, crispy crust with just enough topping (yummy)! Went there twice...had pizza, pasta and salad...everything was delicious! read more

The service is terrible!! Pesto was good. Spaghetti with pepper very plain. We waited outside for over 15 minutes to just ask for a table with waiters going past us multiple times. I asked for a table as a waiter was passing and he said one moment please (rudely) and never came back. Another couple walked up, someone came right up to them and offered them the last table outside after we had been waiting for 15 minutes. Finally we got seated inside when the bartender told one of the waitresses to seat us. Another waiter plops menus down loudly (the one who told us one moment outside) without saying anything. Our waitress took our order and we never saw her again. It was by far the worst service we've had in Italy after going out to eat over 15 times already. Never going back. read more

this has hands down been the best pizza we have had in italy thus far. The crust is so thin and crispy...so good! Portion size is huge and very reasonably priced. we got this recommendation from our air b&b host and it definitely lived up to our expectations. We ordered the marguerita pizza with double buffalo cheese which was superb. We got the pizza with speck on it which was decent but the flavor of the speck was a little over powering. Overall, a great place for lunch...would def try to stop in. read more

Came in for quick bite after a work day. Visiting from US and finally dropped by on this trip since there was no waiting. Pizza is more of a flatbread and is good but not amazing. Since I was inside on second floor, I was able to watch a World Cup game. I will likely try other places before coming back again. read more

Pizzas were excellent. Thin crust, great presentation, right amount of cheese, fresh ingredients. Great price options for the wine bottles. Very enjoyable terrasse. We had a simple cream sauce pasta, chicken salad, prosciutto pizza, and prosciutto and mushroom pizza. All dishes were good. read more

This review has nothing to do with the food at this establishment, I have the utmost confidence that it would have been delicious. This review has to do with the service. The service is absolutely awful. The staff was insolent and lacked even the slightest bit of punctuality. First, they forced us to wait 20 minutes upon being seated. I was then appalled when they would not let my fiancé and I order just drinks and a single pizza to share, mind you we would have ordered multiple drinks a piece that would have amounted to at least a 50€ bill. The server then told us "is no possible" and "you take up table". There was no line or wait, whatsoever, in fact the restaurant still had open tables. I have never been treated with such disdain at a restaurant in all my life. I have never made a Yelp review, ever. I also do not use harsh language, but... FUCK THIS PLACE. read more

Was underwhelmed by this restaurant. The map makes it look like you can see the water from the restaurant, which is not so. There is also limited outdoor seating. It took a long time for us to get seated and helped. Once we finally ordered food it came out quickly and was good, but nothing to write home about. We had pizza- easily could've been split between 2 people, neither one of us finished ours. Very thin crust and lots of cheese on the pizza compared to other Italian pizzas I've had.
