Adorable French Gelato shop in Brickell City Center has the most deliciously unique gelato! Lavender, Black Vanilla, Hazelnut and other gelato atop an Artisanal Flavored Cones was a sweet ending to our day! I love that you can build your own bag of a variety of treats from candied fruits and caramels to macarons and calissons! Worth checking out if you're in the area!!
Once I walked in I was greeted and offered samples of ice creams from the case. I tried the lavender and knew it I had to get it in the macaroon since I've never had it before. It was awesome! Highly suggest to let it sit before biting directly biting in as it is really cold.
5 star food, 5 star service, 5 star ambience Fantastic gourmet gelato / treats shop in Miami's glitziest shopping mall, pricey but worth it, especially for the great service. 5 star food: Their gelato macarons are almost a religious experience seeing god / buddha / whomever. The cookie portion is so rich it's almost like chewy raw cookie dough but frozen, and the gelato is among the best I've ever had. Everything is actually made in France and imported. 5 star service: Both counter folks were very sweet and funny. They even explained which color was which flavor, because I had forgotten my glasses. Both had good suggestions for the next visit too. 5 star ambience: Located in my favorite shopping mall Brickell City Centre, Roy de France definitely makes you feel like Louis XIV himself. Inside it's slick but classic design with soft lighting. Outside it's the best people watching in Miami (highly recommend the little tables by the glass railing).
Definitely an upscale ice cream and candy store in a high end mall. On the expensive side. They also feature macarons , gelato including a black vanilla. I tried the cappuccino, good. They have also a small selection of French wines and champagnes.
A hot day in Brickell City Center calls for some delicious gelato! I'm glad we ran into this unique gelato shop. I tried their Black Vanilla and their Lavender flavor. The lavender was very good. I did like their vanilla but it stained my mouth pretty badly. I'm not sure I'd have this flavor again.
Cute little ice cream and sweets place in Brickell city center. Not cheap.. but well made quality and delicious. That 10$ ice cream sandwich in my picture in between macaroons and blue. Was by far the best ice cream sandwich we ever had and well worth the 10$. Perfect bites, not messy, luxurious and delicious
Lovely gelato place in the city center that has gelato with charcoal cone/also has vanilla charcoal gelato. They let me try all the flavors and I liked pistachio the best. Got to top it off with a crème brûlée macaron as well!
Crazy, amazing sweets shop! Come here if you want to find a sweet gift for someone. Or come here for a sweet treat for yourself! We had this hazelnut ice cream macaroon treat. So good.
Went in for a quick cone and it was delicious! I got cookies and cream gelato with a black vanilla cone. Cute shop and nice cashier, I was in and out quick. I really wish I would have tried some of the candy they had. I would return if I had the chance. Only giving 4 stars due to the cone being nearly $10 for one scoop.

Roy de France offers macarons individually for purchase at around 3 dollars per piece or you can buy a set for more value. They had pistachio, cookies and cream, and rose petal flavors. Overall the macarons were very good; the filling was creamy and sweet. I will admit though that the texture was a little off in that the macarons were bit too cake-like where I'd prefer more of a chew. Otherwise, still very good macarons and a cool place to check out.
Very tasty, but very pricey for the amount sold - definitely fun for special occasions! Regardless of price, I am eager to come back to try one of their gelato-macarons
I was waiting to pick up someone and saw this place to get gelato, so why not try it. All the reviews said try the black vanilla and I got that and cappuccino, which was better than the black vanilla. First I walked in 2 people were in apparentlyba deep conversation behind the counter and the cashier jad head down on the phone. I just browed the offerings until I was acknowledged which was when the conversation ended. I was the only customer in the shop. Once unburdened the lady behind the counter was nice and let me try the cappuccino and the cashier managed to check me put and say thank you. All small things, the Gelato is the reason for going. It was good, not great, but good. I love Gelato but this seemed to lack flavor but it could have been my combination. Also it's frwnch Gelato and maybe it's not the same as Italian gelato,may e I should have gotten the macaroon stuffed with ice cream. Would I go back, probably, if I'm in the area to try the macaroon with ice cream in the middle.
Love this place located in brickell city centre! They have really good GELATO & MACAROONS!!!! I try to go once in awhile definitely if I'm in the mall I won't miss it. I usually get a cone with 2 scoops of amazing gelato ( chocolate ), they also have good candy, It's a bit pricey but it's BRICKELL. The service is always good and so is the atmosphere the place is decorated really cool and makes it pleasant to be inside. Highly recommended!
After dinner and wandering the outdoor mall, we decided to look for dessert. The Macaron ice cream sandwich was a perfect treat. My partner opted for an ice cream cone which was also good. The waffle cones seem to be made in-house and were the perfect consistency. The ice-cream was also great. They also had candy and other sweet treats. The person who served me at the counter was extremely nice, she explained the chocolate and macaroon options and helped me pick out a great set. The store itself is rather small, but it a great selection. Only giving a four star rating because that macaroons were a bit too dry for my taste. Definitely wish the woman working would have been a bit more welcoming and maybe would have let me know what are some good flavors instead of treating it as if I was walking into a Dairy Queen. I got pineapple sorbet on a lavender cone and a passion fruit macaroon. Wish she would have told me the signature cone I wasn't sure how that worked I guessed because I wanted that type of cone. Probably won't be back here. Was good but not worth it the flavor was ok as well. Nothing amazing read more

Love this place located in brickell city centre! They have really good GELATO & MACAROONS!!!! I try to go once in awhile definitely if I'm in the mall I won't miss it. I love it!!! I got the black vanilla with lavender in the black vanilla cone. Staff was super friendly and patient with me when I was really indecisive so they helped me pair some flavors together. It was so good. Would recommend and come back again :) read more

The gelato flavors here were great. Even the cones had very interesting flavors. I'm definitely impressed with this place as gelato and treats of these kinds are usually neutral to me when I write reviews. Does the French do it better?! Hmmm... The hubs and I shared the black vanilla gelato with a red velvet cone. Black vanilla (made with charcoal) was definitely a fav in our group, but all the flavors were really good. The cone was also surprisingly tasty. It was thin and had some slight flavors. It's not at all like the thick waffle cones at some ice cream/gelato places. Aside from the 12 gelato flavors and 6 cone choices, the other treats looked amazing. One friend bought lots of treats. She let us sampled the chocolate bag (grapes covered with chocolate and sauterne wine) which was really good. There were also macaroon ice cream that looked super yummy. Overall: Le Roy Rene is def unique and worth a visit again. For around $7, you get one small scoop of gelato ($5.35) and a handmade cone ($1.60). It was worth it though. Le Roy Rene is located on the 2nd floor near Zara at the Brickell City Centre. read more
Yummy gelato! I ordered a medium 2 scoops cup, one scoop cookies and cream and the other pistachio. The cookies and cream was amazing. The pistachio was ok. Only wish the scoops were bigger. Kind of slacked on the size. Overall really good. read more

Delicious!! Located in the City Centre shopping area, Roy De France is so conveniently located. We were in Miami for the weekend and went twice. They have some delicious flavors and unique cone flavors like black vanilla. We really enjoyed the macaroon ice cream sandwich combo but it's very sweet. Overall, it's a great shop for ice cream on a hot day (which is everyday in Miami). read more

I had their gelato, very smooth and delicious. The passion fruit sorbet was soooo smooth, and fragrant. Not sweet at all, very tart just as a real passion fruit tastes, and perfect to balance out with a macron. OMG the macrons are the best. Trust me go for the passion fruit macron. read more

Excellent place for that sweet craving. Many delicious and sugary sweetness to choose from. The shop is small but offering many selections. The lady there were very patience with our family. Took the time to answer our questions and provided samples. We ended up getting the cookie monster, black vanilla, and lavender. All were delicious and not overly sugary! read more
Stumbled upon this cute gelato shop while walking through city centre, and had to try it because they had a lavender flavor (my favorite). The 3 scoop option is the best deal, so I got lavender, hazelnut, and cotton candy. Sadly, the lavender scoop was the worst one. It tasted more like vanilla, and had absolutely no lavender flavor to it. The hazelnut and cotton candy were good though! And the workers were very friendly. read more

A great spot for a tasty cool down. I shared a signature cone - 1 scoop of cappacino, 1 scoop of dulce de leche in a red velvet cone topped with a rose petal macaron for $13.59. There wasn't a huge amount of flavors, but the variety ranges from recognizable chocolate, cappacino, etc. to light/creamy pistachios and lavenders, to visually adventurous black vanilla and tasty dulce de leche. The cones come in a variety of flavors as well. The red velvet had both the taste and fragrance of red velvet so the flavor is definitely there. Great crunch, didn't get soggy from gelato. This is clearly a specialty shop with high end desserts and high quality ingredients - the dollar value is worth the bites if you want to treat yourself. read more
Cute little gelato boutique inside of the heart of Brickell City Centre. In addition, they offer a variety of chocolate and candies which is an amazing addition for those chocolate, gelato and candy lovers! The girl up front was super helpful and knowledgeable if any questions we had. It is not Max Brenner Chocolate shop but it's one of the few selections we have for chocolate options. I tried the Black Vanilla with Lavender Cone. Loved the ice cream but not so much for the cone plus it was a little stale (huge no no). Very friendly atmosphere! They have many vegan selection and gelato is kosher! Zak the Baker and Le Roy Rene should create something epic! Very much recommended for those gelato lovers! read more

I don't typically eat gelato but this place blew me away. Lavender??? I didn't know lavender gelato was a thing! The taste is light but so good! At the shop they let you try two flavors before choosing what you want. I definitely recommend! read more
