I stopped by Bianco Gelato while staying in Coconut Grove in Miami. I ordered the vegan dark chocolate gelato, which was excellent. It was rich, creamy, and tasted just like regular gelato even though it had no animal products. That was a nice surprise, since vegan desserts can sometimes fall short, but this one did not. The gelato is definitely on the pricier side, but that is not unexpected for Coconut Grove. The quality came close to matching the price in my view. They also give a complimentary cookie wafer with each gelato, which was a nice touch. The shop itself has a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. It was a bit hot outside when I visited, so I chose to sit inside, which was comfortable. The staff was also very nice, which made the visit even better. As a tart froyo lover, the yogurt passionfruit was amazing! We got two scoops (yogurt passionfruit and lemon sorbet) which was the perfect refreshing combo. We were looking for an after dinner treat and found this spot near by. Great little spot. Friendly staff, clean shop and a variety of flavors. I ordered the pitascho Gelato, which was refreshing and tasted really good. I especially loved the prices! We walked away from another spot because I just couldn't see myself paying a ridiculous price for a small cup and the price here was great! Not only that, I did sample the coffee flavor at both shops and this spot definitely had the best flavor on the coffee Gelato, but since I love pitascho I went with that. But yet here we are....on top of that they have some of the worst customer service! These people are so miserable and non friendly. With no pistachio in sight I chose the blue milk and cookies (yes blue like Cookie Monster). I could taste the blue food coloring; however, there are a lot of cookies mixed in. They have a wide assortment of Gelato that you can get in a cup or a cone. They also have popsicles, smoothies and brownies. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. The assisted me in deciding what I wanted to go with. They have some unique flavors. I was intrigued by the Grapefruit flavor. After tasting the sample I was given, mmmmmmm, I decided to go with that. I will admit that the scoops are a bit smaller than normal, so you may want to buy one size bigger than you normally get. They do have a bathroom which was helpful for me personally, but prices are high or somewhere in the neighbourhood of average considering the fancy South Miami neighbourhood, but considering the reviews and how excited everyone gets about this place, I have to put a three-star instead of a 4 because it's just so overrated, despite being a nice element of the neighbourhood. Honestly, it's not my thing at all, and there were icy crystals inside the gelato which means it wasn't fresh. Cute little ice cream shop serving very tasty gelato. I must admit, each flavor I tasted was absolutely delicious. The coconut flavor came with coconut flakes and was very smooth and creamy. The cookies and cream flavor had nice chunks of Oreo cookies embedded in a blue batter (apparently infused with some sort of algae to give it its color) with a taste that reminded me of when I just to dunk my Oreos in milk as a child. Located off Commodore avenue in Coconut Grove, the shop looks like something from Martha's Vineyard a nice and peaceful interior. The main concept here is organic and natural flavors and man you can taste it with every scoop. The best part of this place they give you the nutritional facts for each flavor and how many scoops is recommended. After sampling several flavors I decided to choose the butter pecan with one scoop. Saw this ice cream store by chance. It is not a very bright store. They have some special flavors like sea salt and milk (forgot the name but its blue one). I got two spoons of creme flavor, which is like vallana but better.
