After discovering functional medicine several years ago, I've always hoped to find a primary care…read moredoctor who truly integrates that preventive, holistic approach. I'm really glad I finally found that with Dr. Singh. This is the first time I've had a primary doctor who focuses on prevention and takes a comprehensive view of all aspects of my health. She genuinely takes the time to get to know me as a person and as a patient, rather than just a yearly visit. She dedicates as much time as needed--often scheduling multiple appointments to make sure everything is thoroughly covered--and she's always accessible for ongoing questions and support. Everyone in the office is kind, efficient, and very helpful. I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Singh and her team, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, personalized, and prevention-focused care. I look forward to continuing my care with Aspire Health.

I saw Dr Singh for several years, I was having countless symptoms and very scary health issues. Dr…read moreSingh is not a functional medicine Dr in my opinion. Once I went to a real functional medicine Dr they discovered what the cause of all of my health issues was in one visit. I really enjoyed seeing Dr Singh, unfortunately she prescribed me a new medication at every visit. Prozac, Wellbutrin, adderall, Xanax, etc. A functional medicine Dr does not polydrug their patient to mask their symptoms. Then came my 4 year long journey of withdrawal due to Dr Singh abruptly taking me off all the antidepressants she had me on. She has done this to 2 other people that I know personally, and they have suffered equally as much as me as a result. When I realized that I was in withdrawal, her only response to me was "want me to send you another prescription for Prozac?" I stayed off all the meds and finally made out of the withdrawal hell, battled severe withdrawal symptoms including depression, suicidal ideation, panic attacks and horrific akathisia just to share a few and I now feel strong and amazing and I am returning to warn others and perhaps educate the Dr herself of the damages that overprescribing can cause. I think Dr Singh has good intentions and I really loved the aspire health model. I suffered so much from the effects of her negligence that I would feel terrible not speaking out.

I've never written a review in this category but feel compelled to do so because Dr. Margaret…read moreOkonkwo at Kidstown Pediatrics is a really great pediatrician. You may be thinking, who cares? But you know what, a lot of moms are unhappy with their chlidren's doctors and for once, I've found a wonderful one and wanted to share it with the world! Geez...I sound like some crazed lunatic, but I had a pretty rough week with my daughter (she has some creepy rash) and Dr. O helped us out big time. Other pluses? There is never a wait, she always calls back when you have questions, the practice is uber clean and the nurses are nice. Which is a nice change in an industry chockfull of dirty waiting rooms, hour-long waits and wicked help. So if you live near the Design District and are fishing around for a new doc, go here. All my friends go to her as well and love her to pieces too.

She's ok. I went to…read moreher for years. You expect a pediatrician to be friendly and connect with your children. She does not. She always referred to my child as "Hey, kid!". I don't expect her to memorize every child's name that comes to her practice but this is just one example of her impersonality. Henry, the dog and her staff are friendlier. Her staff, by the way are accommodating and patient. She is a straight shooter. Down to business. No warmth,no cuddles, no rainbows and no goddamn bubbles. Get in and get the hell out. Again no problem with her staff. I will never forget how she scolded me when she discovered that I did not realize that my child was autistic. How the eff am I supposed to know?? Smh. I have a new pediatrician now and the experience is way better. And the practice I go to now is BUSIER. But when my pediatrician sits down with my child I see leprauchans and a pot of gold. And no my pediatrician DOES NOT know my child's name by heart either but she CONNECTS with me and child during our visit. Therin lies the difference. I hesitated to write this review for years because of all the glowing reviews. But now I see I'm not the only one. She's not horrible but one can do better. Meh. Oh, but the one good thing, about her is that she is not focused on prescribing unnecessary medicines/antibiotics. I'll add another star just for that.

Dr. Alvarez was wonderful, professional and caring. Unfortunately, my experience with PA Lourdes…read moreLopez was the complete opposite. I brought my baby in for what I felt was an urgent medical concern and I found PA Lourdes Lopez to be rude, dismissive and unprofessional. She did not perform what I felt was a thorough examination of my daughter, and her manner toward us was lacking in compassion and respect. Because I was not confident in the care my daughter was receiving, I left and took her directly to the emergency room. There, the hospital staff properly evaluated her condition, treated her and resolved the issue. While I am grateful for Dr. Alvarez and the care he provides, this experience with the PA was extremely disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality of patient care and communication in the future.
