Each driving instructor here is kind, calm, and honest, at the end they want you to pass. They will give you pointers on where you did well and where you can improve. The professors that I've had so far have been super helpful and also super caring. The cost to come to WVC isn't expensive as going to a university. You can get so much help with financial aid and other departments here at Wenatchee Valley College.

To attempt to reach a live body for information or instruction is futile. Staff remain on reduced or non-existent work schedules, many teachers still sit at home in their sweats teaching classes, and there is an overall air of apathy from anyone you are able to get in contact with. My daughter almost missed her graduation as a result of negligent credit evaluation even though it was reviewed by three different people. Certainly, there are a few gems here, however, you have to look hard and it may not be worth the time, frustration, or expense to try to find them. Try Central Washington University instead. It is exceptional by comparison.

As a runner, this is a bit of a dream because I can run four laps in lane eight and know I ran 1.10 miles (distances are provided to 0.01 mile accuracy). In today's day and age where technology and electronics can be a bit glitchy, it is nice to have exact distances that are not open to fluctuations like a treadmill that miscounts distance. If one is super ambitious, they can even measure the distance(s) around the track by lane on their own, which is a fun exercise in measurement. The track and field has views of the middle school, high school, and some of the physical ridges nearby. Makes for lovely scenery while getting in some exercise. I suppose one downside could be the lack of shade around the track, this can be a big deal if it is a clear, sunny, and hot day in Cashmere.

In the bumping town of Cashmere, there exists a high school, Cashmere High School. The school has a…read moremarching band. On warm summer evenings just before classes start up for the year, the music of the marching band can be heard wafting through the streets surrounding the school. When I visit my uncle at that time of year we like to sit outside on a patio, and the sounds of the marching band provide a real-life soundtrack in the background. The campus is nice, with a large parking lot provided right outside the front entrance. When I visited the campus on-foot one Saturday, a bus for sports was waiting for athletes. There was ample space to load/unload and abundant open parking for the student-athletes. The campus is tucked a little off the main road(s) in Cashmere, which is nice for reducing background noise and distractions during class.

He has attended…read moreTEAMS for one year and we have witnessed his excitement and passion for the teachers as well as the curriculum! Healthy snacks are provided during each 3hr session and he always has a fun art project to share with me. My husband and I participated in the Parent Education Workshop, through which we learned techniques for positive communication, potty training, etc. and are experiencing impressive results! We are looking forward to celebrating our son's fourth birthday party at TEAMS (that's right, they book birthday parties)! Our family is so grateful to have TEAMS in our community.

TEAMS does a wonderful job of providing a safe, comfortable, and fun learning environment for young children. They can grow, explore, and flourish in a world built just for their young minds. Joy and her amazing team of teachers work hard to make sure every student gets to have their best day at school, each and every time they go. The curriculum is absolutely amazing and worth taking a look at. Sometimes it may strike an idea for an outside of the school family activity that fits the theme of her friday session, that we can do together on the weekend. My  child  shows  confidence  in herself and the art she creates and brings home to me. Proudly displayed on the fridge, she will tell me about her friends and teachers. After being in the house during the pandemic for most of her life, the socialization is so important. Thank you TEAMS!!!
