W were really disappointed at the customer service this visit, so much so we will not be doing business with Riverbend in the future. A trip to get some rock should not be an ordeal. We recently purchased a new home east of Cheyenne and have planted over 30 trees and 50 flowers or shrubs. with no problems as they are all on a drip or sprinkler system. We found 4 Blue Spruce 3' - 4' trees that we liked at Riverbend so purchased them. Plating them as all other trees within 3 weeks one started to die then the other 3 within a week or two. Called Riverbend twice and ultimately received a 15% discount on any further purchase from them - no apology offered. I found it interesting that we had a problem with winter kill on a couple of trees purchased from Lowes, even though it was outside of their 1 year guarantee they gave us an 80% discount on a couple other trees. Hands down my favorite go-to place for plants, flowers, and pots! Wonderful selection and variety. Love that I can pick out all my own flowers and pots for a planter or make a quick stop by for a gift of a hanging basket. River Bend makes it easy with everything right in one place. If I could rate any lower, I would! I have been looking for bleeding heart plant for a couple of weeks and thought I had found a little gem in this place when I found it here. Not only did I search out and find the plant on my own, I also had questions and planned on purchasing a large boot decorative ceramic planter and birdhouse as well; however the associates were so unfriendly and unhelpful I left with just the plant. I planned on returning another day so I could possibly speak to other associates, and I tried not to take the lack of customer service personally. I took home my plant and it was dead a couple days later. I did everything possible and every other plant that had been planted in the exact same space with the same soil same water and same sunlight requirements has flourished. My boyfriend was kind enough and volunteered to exchange the plant for me on his way home from work. He arrived there (in uniform) and explained what happened and asked about exchanging or refunding. The associate was not even the least bit apologetic, she was rude, rolled her eyes and then called the manager (or whoever was supervising) and they very rudely told him, "we don't do refunds or exchanges and we are about to close." They are over priced and have crap service. I wish I would have read other reviews before coming here! Look at the questions posted, that have gone unanswered by them, they obviously don't care about losing customers. I truly don't know how this business still exists read more

We ordered 10 tons of 2" stone for landscaping. 2 years previously it had been well screened. This load has lots of fill dirt in it and needs washing out. I tried calling to take this up and they never called me back. Called in this morning and was basically told "tough, not our problem". No offer for a partial refund just excuses suggesting we should have dug in their stack to see if it had dirt in. The owner accused me of showing a fake photo of the dirt in the delivered truck load. They certainly need some customer service training. read more

Excellent Service!! We had River Bend Nursery out to our home today 9/30/14 to blow out our sprinklers for the winter. The man who did the service was very friendly and down to earth. My husband and I called River Bend Nursery, after we didn't hear back from another company here in Cheyenne. So happy we went with River Bend Nursery. Healthy flowers and trees. Have purchased trees over the years and had good success.

Incredible staff...very friendly and extremely hard working. I had my entire yard renovated removing all dead and ugly shrubs. All the rock beds surrounding my small yard were cleaned out, new liner material laid, old rocks returned and a layer of large bedding rocks installed. New plants (Russian Sage) were put in and varied in the beds with 500# dark grey boulders. They also pruned my lilac and planted an ornamental grass I purchased today at Grant Farms Nursery. This late in the planting season most nurseries inventory is low, but you can get great buys this time of year. Me & my Mom couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. It's stunning, elegant, and simplistic...the look we were going for, but it turns out so much prettier than I could have imagined. We'll purchase a few other shrubs when their spring inventory arrives and have their courteous staff plant them. I dearly wish I could post before & after photos here. It doesn't look like the same yard. Riverbend Nursery works to solely please their customers. Thus, any changes the customer wants, they are only too happy to keep changing things as the project continues. I highly recommend them for any and all of your landscaping/yard service needs.
