This campground doubles as a wedding venue and camp/conference center. I have been here for both,…read moremany times, and have always had an incredible experience. Camps/conferences: Located in Donnelly, ID on Lake Cascade, this venue offers a stunning view of Tamarack ski resort across the way. The campground is well-kept, clean, and offers lodging for both large and small groups alike. In the summer, they have paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks that you can take out on the water, and in the winter, cozy up in the fireside room next to the fireplace. Wedding Venue: I have had 3 friends get married here, and all have had gorgeous ceremonies/receptions. When nature gives you a remarkable backdrop, it sure does help bring down the cost of decorating. I've seen two ceremonies near the water area, and one out in an open field. Most recently, my best friend got married here and opted to have her ceremony and reception in the open field. Her father-in-law constructed poles to hang lights from over the whole reception area and dance floor, giving this fall wedding a dreamy and whimsical feel to it. Additionally, they allowed the caterers to use the kitchen to prepare the food for this event. The bride and groom also paid a little bit extra so that the wedding party could stay the night in Faith Height's cabins/lodge the night of the wedding, as Faith Heights is about a 2-hour drive from Boise. Overall: Gorgeous and dreamy. A great canvas for event planners or wedding planners to work with!

I was there this weekend for my grandson's wedding. I was excited because the pictures I had seen…read morewere lovely. Sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. First, as you arrive to the venue, directly next to it, on the property is construction, EEK! This was not expected as she had said it would be complete in April 2026. You have to walk down a very steep trail to get to the wedding site itself. Karen made things difficult for the wedding party, at one point raising her voice and yelling. She was going through items in the bride's dressing room. The kitchen area is old, really old. Think green avocado stove old. There were no towels, paper towels etc for clean up or as you go taking care of things. There was no air conditioning. The reception area was stifling and hot. You walk down the stairs to the basement to get to the kitchen and dressing areas. However, it's dark without light and the carpet was very dark. Definitely a tripping/falling hazard. Lastly, we had to pack the trash out with us! Insane! We actually had to haul trash out with our cars/trucks. Karen's behavior and demeanor sadly made everyone uncomfortable, causing the reception to end early, my grandson didn't get his mother/son dance, nor did his sweet wife get her father/daughter dance. The fact that Karen had our sweet bride in tears is just plain awful. I would never recommend the Hidden Pearl to anyone. Too bad, I have 17 grandchildren, she could've had a customer for life.

Let me just start off by saying that the venue is absolutely beautiful, when we did our tour we…read morereally loved it and were excited to have a great wedding day. Here are a few things you should know about before having your wedding here. You are required to haul off your own trash, there is no ac in the reception room so when you have 100 guests it gets extremely hot in there, if the bridesmaids are planning on getting ready at the venue they will need to bring their own mirrors and lights as it is very dark in the basement. Make sure to watch for ticks from the trees above where you have your ceremony. Lastly, i want to talk about the owner... KAREN. Lets just say she really lived up to the Karen stereotype. She was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the entire night. She failed to let us know that we needed to haul off our own trash. She was snappy and rude with our bridal party and guests. I keep seeing reviews about how nice and helpful she was but we got the complete opposite. The only thing she set up was the chairs for the ceremony and the arch. She didn't help with cleanup at all and was nowhere to be found when we needed something. Don't expect to be able to eat while getting ready because that seemed to be an issue with her. She had my wife crying for almost the entire night and made us feel very unwelcome which led to us leaving early. Make sure to lock up your things because she will snoop through the rooms downstairs while you guys are away. You might want to ask her how to flush the toilet because shes too cheap to fix it. It was very disappointing to have our wedding night ruined by the person that's supposed to make it amazing. Its a very budget friendly option for a reason

**The Cottage at Riverbend** is a Beautiful OUTDOOR Wedding venue in Eagle, Idaho. The grounds are…read morebreathtaking on this rural land in the middle of the bustling city of Eagle. The land is uniquely private. The entrance so obscure that you will drive by and miss it except for a Welcome sign on wedding days. This is a good thing to keep your event private and to maximize the space. Once you enter from the street the wedding names will be on a sign with the cottage in the background. You will head down a one car driveway to the back and park in a gravel parking lot. The back lawn is a front to a creek and lots of trees. Wedding ceremonies often take place here. When you are on the grounds you cannot see the surrounding farm, the vegetable market or anything else in most places. Moving toward the cottage is the pot o potty for guests & staff (construction style!!!) , the parking lot and then large tent. Walk through another area of grass. Next is another smaller tent outside the cottage and a couple of grass lawns. Again, tents may vary due to time of year etc. They usual house the DJ and dance floor for your event or it could house the tables and chairs and dance floor. The trees and shrubbery, again, are so pretty. The little pond is also good looking. Weddings are so different depending especially on your wedding coordinator and also the vendors you hire. Pay special attention to where the sun is depending on your time of day & time of year and plan the set up of chairs, tables, eating areas not to mention the flowers accordingly. The ceremony and eating is often set up in the sun so be aware depending on the time of year. Make sure to remember to think of your guests and warn them of the need to wear flat shoes or chunk heels or wedges to traverse the grounds parking lot and porta potty. Let them know if you will let them in the cottage to use the restroom or to get out of the sun or if it is off limits. Again, the wedding coordinator may make this decision but be aware it alters the guest experience. Their website shows a plethora of photos of the grounds so check it out for an idea of offerings and other events. But they don't do it justice. It is more beautiful in person. The look of the event and pictures are dependent on what you choose catering wise, coordinator wise, clothing wise and whom your vendor is for supplies. It can be as informal or formal as you wish. The sky is the limit. The Cottage at Riverbend gets 5 stars for just the gorgeous, serene, enchanting outdoor space that it is to hold your wedding or event. There are plenty of areas for guests and wedding party to roam and lots of greenery for pictures to be taken with. Lots of memories to be made here
