I think she was frustrated that I'm not a moron who accepts her lazy B.S. When I got my first pair I was told a replacement pair was substantially less, maybe 100 or $150, which makes sense because for a replacement pair you don't need a consultation, molding, etc. So, not only was reception wrong in the services they could provide me they tried to charge me extra, and hung up instead of providing an explanation for a reasonable inquiry.

I have been trying to help my mom put in a new order for bras for 9 months. After calling and leaving messages that went unanswered, I sent an email in November 2024 and received this message from Ms. Walker: Hope you are well. We did receive and placed your order. We will call you when we get it here at the shop. Since then I have called and emailed over the last 9 months with no response. I even called several times just to ask for an in-shop appointment to place our order, but again we were ignored. We stopped by the shop earlier this summer and were told we needed to call to make an appointment. Medicare covers new bras every 3 months, but my mom has been reduced to using worn out bras since the winter. My mom is also entitled to a new prosthetic, but we cannot get anyone at this business to respond to any of our requests. Though we initially had a good experience with this business, the runaround and lack of communication in the last year is inexcusable. During my mother's next appointment with her surgeon, I'll be asking for recommendations for a different provider and will strongly encourage her not to send her patients to this business anymore.

Small, female owned minority business. Doesn't get much better than that. Erica spent almost 2 hours with me to ensure I found something that fit comfortably and that I love. From the first time that I met Terry and started using the AOP facility I knew I was in a much better place. I was getting a better brace, but also dealing with someone with passion and knowledge about his profession and a genuine care and concern for his clients. The AOP office is professional, clean well organized everyone there are welcoming. They are super responsive and always call back really quickly if for some reason you have to leave a message. We saw Cindy as our clinician and she was absolutely amazing! She always made us feel at ease at each appointment and helped us through all the adjustments and changes. She was very responsive over the phone and via email whenever we had questions. At one point we were having some fit issues with the helmet and she randomly called to check in before the weekend to make sure we were feeling good about everything. It was so nice of her! My biggest recommendation...if your doctor recommends it, I'd go in for the initial appointment. They're super helpful with figuring out insurance coverage and typically the younger your child starts, the shorter amount of time they will need to be in the helmet.

I called numerous times, left voicemail messages, never heard back. Finally, I walked into the Grass Valley office and staff there informed me I was scheduled, gave me the date and time. I still didn't hear back from Sabrina. When I reported for surgery at the hospital in Sacramento, the check-in desk didn't have me scheduled for surgery. The Registrar asked Dr. James, who was in the OR, and he apparently told her that his office hadn't notified him about me. There is a complete breakdown between doctor and office staff here. Will never go near the Northern California Orthopedic Association again.

If you don't look like them, you know the type, then they aren't friendly to you. I watched and then experienced this disparity in the interactions with "like" people in front of me and then myself.
