Came here for the first time this past weekend for a baseball tournament…read more Positives: -Friendly people working -Good parking (though we had early game) -Clean restrooms and grounds -Well behaved pups allowed -Stadium seating -Food/restrooms right next to the fields -Full bar if that is a plus for you Negatives: -Turf has seen better days, but repairs to areas have been made in most areas and about the norm for most of these tournament fields in the bay area -Usual high prices for food and not allowed to bring own food in -Must go up and down stairs around the snack building to get to the adjacent field unless you walk further behind the building to the center of the complex and then back over to the fields - just a weird set up to not have a level transition around the building and adjoining the fields

Beautiful fields for softball tournaments with maintained bathrooms and a clubhouse where you can…read moresit inside in AC and still watch the games. That's all a plus. They make a big deal about the fields being replicas of major league stadiums but I've been to many major league stadiums and I didn't see the resemblance. It's regularly 90-100+ in Manteca during the summer and they prevent you from bringing in Gatorade for your kids who are playing, sometimes in back to back games, on turf where the temp is easily increased by another 5 or 10 degrees. Sounds dangerous and highly irresponsible, especially for children who are not used to living in or playing in this heat. There also just isn't enough shade built into the facility. The clubhouse gets packed and so do the few shaded areas. Since those are the only spaces that are ADA, they are also the only spaces where you can wheel and store wagons to cart chairs, umbrellas, coolers of water etc. So the clubhouse spaces between tables and the shaded walkways outdoors are packed with wagons and people trying to avoid the sun/heat and then no one can easily get through. You have to go through the clubhouse to get from one stadium to another if you have a wagon, or walk all the way around in the scorching heat. It's a fire hazard really. On their website, it says you cannot bring outside food either but when you get there, after driving for more than an hour, you learn you can also bring fresh fruit. Well thanks. Would have been good to know that before we headed here and left fresh fruit at home. The website rules also say you can't have music. We played between inning music and walk-up music all season but left the speakers at home because of the rules. When we got here, other teams were playing music. We learned that the rule doesnt apply to youth. Again it would have been nice for that info to be clear and available in the planning stage. Lastly, you can't bring in food but their food court is expensive ($33 for two orders of chicken tenders and fries with a small drink) and there aren't enough options, especially for those with dietary restrictions or just an interest in not eating fried food or pizza. This place has a lot of promise but needs to shift from an "if you know you know" mentality, since it draws people from hours away who will only know if it is on the website and clearly stated.

I lived in a very violent part of the city, so going to a place to escape all that while being able to study, hang out with friends and make new ones was amazing for my youth development. Fast forward to now, and I had move here to Central Valley with my family, after finding out through a Chamber of Commerce flyer we had one right here in Manteca. I went over to meet the staff and learn about what this location had to offer. For a membership price of $60 a year, my kids had access to homework assistance, STEM activities, Taekwondo 2 day of the week, Local Sports such as basketball, soccer and football. You couldn't find a better placed $60 dollars, and I know this as my children spend way more on Robux and Fortnite skins. I had also learned the staff is trained to handle children with ASD and ADHD which is another plus for those parents who aren't certain about putting their children in an unknown setting. They allow a day pass trial before you sign up so if youre curious to see how your kids about it, have them check it out and then talk about it on the car ride home. There are tremendous social benefits to being a member of the Boys and Girls club, and this location's staff is very friendly and welcoming.

This is my experience as a parent to other parents, I am not in need of a response from any person affiliated with this place. The director and the owner lady (her picture is seen here as owner) are fake frauds. They smile and say all the correct things until they no longer like you. When attempts were made to work directly with the teacher, it seemed great, but not to these two ladies, next day I was asked by them to meet so they could tell me bluntly we are going to dismiss you and your child from our center, sign here, let's go collect your child's items. Okay bye! A household with two working foster parents. This was a foster child. Oh yeah, It was a no go to have a county social worker visit child at the site...huge red flag. Can't begin to express the hardship they made me go through when asked if my child could be given albuterol for asthma. Christian compassion?! What a joke. I pray their ministry is better than the practice of their child care center. God bless this place, for they know not what they do.
