i loved every second of this tour. I went with me and my dad for 2 hours. our tour guide, Travis, was excellent, and helped me, who was a complete beginner, learn how to use the controls and everything essential for the journey, and going up some of the hills had great views with many photo opportunities. I would definitely recommend this tour if you would like a well guided experienced that goes at your own pace. You do not have to go on any part you dont want to, also, which is nice. Had a great experience for a Bachelor's trip. I was only able to book up to 4 ATVs online, but they were more than happy to house a party of 7 when I called in to book it. Travis was our guide and we all loved him. We went for the easy difficulty since it was all of our first times. Initially, it was a slow start and a little boring, but things started to rev up 5-10 minutes as Travis kind of saw how we were keeping up. At the end, our friend in front (behind Travis) was completely caked with mud, which was hilarious to us. It rained the day before, so it made sense why. The rest of us had specs of mud on us and it was easy to clean/wipe off. Overall, it was a great experience. Would love to return one day with a higher difficulty. read more

I was trying to plan an event here and I emailed them directly asking them if they take large groups. I even told them how many people and they directed me to their waitlist and asked me to submit through there. I then do as they request and they respond back with "at the Bay Area location for sure it will not be possible". Me thinking maybe we have too many people maybe it's the date? Had such an amazing time! I highly recommend this adventure for beginners or those who have an interest but don't know where to start. We got there 20 minutes early as suggested in our email to ensure we did all the paperwork. There isn't great cell service there so make sure you do what they suggest before arriving so you're not scrambling on your phone to sign things. Our tour guide Fidel, was great! Gave us great views and took amazing photos. We were not familiar with how to drive ATVs and Fidel was very patient with us and made sure we felt safe. Even as we went high up the mountain. They gave us helmet liners along with sanitized helmets and gear. I suggest wearing pants and maybe something long sleeved if you have a tendency to get cold easily. Where do I start??? It was my first time driving an ATV which learnt was the same as a quad car . I digress.... I had a wonderful experience from the beginning through the ride and all the way to the end. Fidel was extremely patient with me despite being the slowest driver in the area . He let me drive around at ground level until I felt comfortable and confident enough to ask to go up the hill. Now THAT was exhilarating. Words cannot explain how you feel when you reach the peak and take in the view! Downhill was something else! An adrenaline rush but Fidel kept peeking at his side mirror to make sure I was OK. He also drove at may pace which helped and made it less scary and very enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this place for someone who has never driven an ATV before. Had such a great tour with Silvia and Enjoy the Mountain! The whole check-in, payment and waiver process was completely contactless and done prior to our visit. The equipment they provide us (disposable helmet liner, helmets, gloves, goggles) were all sanitized prior. Despite us being the last tour of the day (330p), all of our equipment and vehicles worked without fail and were up to any task for the ride. Silvia was an amazing guide as well! We signed up for a 2hr beginner/intermediate ride. I asked to start in the beginner sections for the first hour then to get more challenging for the second hour and she happily obliged. She also took photos for us and the company sent us photos after our trip later that evening so we could keep both hands on the handlebars. We started at the bottom of the hills for a bit to get us oriented with various kinds of terrain before we went up in elevation into the hills for epic views and trails. We always felt really safe and had such a great time. We can't wait to do it again and conquer some more challenging trails next time! If you're in the area, definitely try it out. It's a fun experience even during these COVID times. *P.S. the park is just 30min from the Livermore Outlets, so make a day of it by going there first for some good shopping then ride it out after read more

I was so excited for this. My solo adventures are something I always look forward to. I had this booked a month in advance and since I live in the city, I also booked a hotel stay. I was scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Late Thursday afternoon, I get a text saying "Due to unexpected circumstances, we are not going to be able to perform any tours there during this weekend. unfortunately we would therefore have to cancel your reservation and perform a full refund, sorry for the inconvenience. please allow your bank several days to process it on their side." There was no mention on efforts to reschedule or rectify wasting my time. What's really crappy is this is the only place that pops up on Google to ATV in the Bay area. This was back in 2016, but I apparently never finished my review. Better late than never, I suppose! My boyfriend and I had only gone ATVing in Pismo Beach before and had never ridden 4x4s up and down trails on a mountain. I honestly didn't know what to expect looking at some of the "trails" on the mountain because some of them were near vertical drops (luckily we didn't even come close to those). Our guide, Rob, was super thorough during our orientation in the beginning, making sure everything fit as it should and stressing the importance of following carefully on the trail as there were parts that were narrower/steeper/more slippery. He led us around on the flatter, practice areas to help us get accustomed to the ATVs and handling the rockier terrain. We made 3 ascents and descents, with the last one being the steepest and highest climb. Before heading to the last one, Rob had us do a practice ascent and descent on a slightly less intense (but still fairly steep) trail to make sure that it was something we were comfortable doing. read more

"Enjoy the Mountain" was a perfect way for my daughter and I to spend a Sunday on a mini-adventure. I wanted to do something with her that was fun and a bit different. Our tour guide was fun, energetic, she took good care of us and took lots of pictures for us. They took all COVID-19 precautions and the equipment was top quality. We went all over the mountain and had a great time! The bonus was when my daughter said, "mom, that was super fun, can we do it again and bring our friends next time?" Mom points! If I could give less than a 1 star, I would. Not worth the trip - do not book the adventure. Overall experience was awful. The ride is marketed as a chance to explore the hills but we did not leave the parking lot on our so called "adventure". Instructor told us the hills were closed but plenty of back country riders were heading to the trails. Despite being 1 hour experience from 10am -11am, our "tour" started at 10:30am and ended at 10:58am. Even the two extra minutes to 11am was too much for our instructor to give us. Staff was not friendly or flexible and directions to get to the site were EXTREMELY poor. read more

Five stars?! Yeah right!! Take that up to 50000! This place is absolutely amazing ! First of all, the guy taking us out on our tour was very kind and outgoing, he gave us a very good briefing before we went off on our great adventure. My mom accidentally booked the reservation difficulty at beginner even though I have been before so I asked the guy about it and he said he would play it by ear. We started off slow and steady in the lot and then we worked up to the trails and faster speeds. We ended up going up a big hill that was very bumpy which was very fun. Our guide took us to a great picture spot on top of this pile of logs. He was taking really great pictures all throughout the ride. We ended up going really fast up and down these hills and bumps. The last time I had been ATVing was about 3 years ago and this was a GREAT reintroduction to the world of ATVs. We had so much fun the hour that we booked felt like 1 minute! Time flys when you have fun. When we drove home my mom called me upstairs to see her computer. Our guide had personally shouted out me and my friend in an email. They were very nice and said that we were the most ideal customers they could wish for! We will definitely be back for more adventures with them and completely recommend this place. read more

We had the BEST time with Enjoy the Mountain ATV Tours. I bought the 2 hour 2 single ATV ride in the Bay Area/Carnegie location as a surprise for my fiance's birthday. Everything was great! From the easy email communication to the exact location link- we knew right where to go and when to be there. Fidel was our guide and he was AMAZING! It was only my 2nd time on an ATV so I was a bit nervous and Fidel was patient, professional and helped build my confidence. We explored the beautiful open-area for 2 hours with gorgeous views and some awesome adrenaline rushes ;-) By the end of the tour we sad to get off the ATVs and wish we could've stayed longer! 100% RECOMMEND. Should be -5 star if Its possible, and they should rebrand as "Enjoy the worst mountain tour". I was referred to them through some friends so I went ahead to book the tours even when I saw quite a few red flags during booking time. They don't answer their phone (stated in their websites), and they only responded to messages, then they asked for two photos in addition to all regular staff, one is my ID with my picture, the other is my headshot with three fingers pointing horizontally. Like who does that, treating your customers like criminals. Hope I had stopped then. When we are on our way a few minutes later than our appointment, they started to question us where our whereabout is, like they are my boss, like I have to check in on time because I paid them in full ALREADY. Its nice to remind, but not to condemn and they sounded like condemning all along. We started the tour ok, female guide seems to be nice but got impatient as time goes on while one of us is having problem controlling the ATV. Guide took us to the top of the mountain, one of my teammates told the guide to go slow and she was afraid to loose control going downhill. The guide went ahead and just drove away (returned 10 mins later after our incident). My teammate was very slow but she hit a rock and lose the control of the vehicle, the vehicle turned 90 degrees to the sideway and went down the valley, while my teammate was able to throw herself out of the vehicle before its too late. The guide returned 10 mins later and we told her what happened (We paid for insurance in advance), instead of comforting the injured one, the guide started condemning us, accusing us for misguiding the injured one and demanding us to go down the valley to get the vehicle. We refused of course citing we have already paid for insurance. She then started calling her team. One guy showed up 10 mins later with an ATV, and she want our injured one to ride that ATV downhill (didn't she just crashed one 20 mins ago???) My teammate insisted to walk down by herself. I want to escorted her downhill but the guide won't allow saying I abandoned the vehicle if I do that. She wanted to push the vehicle down if I don't want to ride it (it would make a lot of dust if I drive it down with my teammate walking on the side). So instead of calling a rescuing team and haul us downhills, she showed how reckless, careless she was and make it very dangerous and smoky for us to go downhill, all in the extreme awkwardness. To be honest, I fear they would start beating us on the mountain as she showed anger and rudeness to us. If it was not because we don't have good cell connections, I would had called 911. read more

Booked an order less than a week before and then had a death in the family which required me to need to rebook my reservation for several weeks ahead. This company had no compassion or flexibility, and I gave them multiple opportunities to make it right. They wanted to charge me a 58% rebooking fee on top of the fees I already paid! Any good company has flexibility in their policies for situations like this, whether it's written in your legal terms or not. They had plenty of notice to fill my slots (2 weeks), and were just trying to get another $200+ out of me. Such a shame. Learn good customer service! If you're thinking of booking, I'd recommend taking your business to a company that treats people better. read more

First time on an ATV; it was a good intro class. I ride a motorcycle and riding the ATV is different. It was fun and I will ride ATV's again. There was a variety of terrain to have fun on. The OHV park is the park and you'll have the opportunity to try different routes. It can be dusty so wear a mask of some sort or wear what they provide. read more
