I didn't realize until I was getting my acrylic nail set filled that this establishment uses MMA and not acrylic on nails. It is illegal to use MMA. Very disappointing I used to love this place. read more

Had a pedicure - was not good. Then a manicure - which was horrible. Staff indifferent and it was a bad experience. I will steer clear.

Been coming here since they opened when I was in high school and the quality of work has gone down significantly. The salon owner/manager is nice and welcoming, the rest of the staff always acts like it's an inconvenience that you've entered their place of business. I got a pedicure and was not impressed by the results. The gel is lumpy in some parts and very uneven near the cuticle. She didn't cut my cuticle enough so she just painted around it. Aside from that when I was done, the lady didn't say anything to me, she just immediately got up and walked over to her manicure station to start helping somebody else who had an appointment and seemed to have no problem communicating with her. My mom was getting a fill and color change & the guy was aggressive and kept yanking her hands to get her closer. She has degenerative disc disease and is in constant pain so for him to expect her to sit forward in an uncomfortable position was unreasonable. Technician was first chair by "reception area". I arrived on time and she was with another client so I went to find a color. Specifically wanted purple. Easy. I came in for a soak off and new set. She said I can get away with a fill it's cheaper, I said ok. I had maybe 2 minutes to look at colors before sitting down, so she told me to look while she worked. I have carpal, medial, and radial tunnel syndrome and arthritis, so that was torture but ok. I told her I like them coffin and skinny, like they were when I came in. She said ok. Answered calls the entire time, wasn't sure if she was making conversation with me or not, it was embarrassing and nerve wrecking. She dropped cuticle clippers and nail clippers on the floor which landed on my food, dusted them off with receipt paper, and put them back!!! When I went to check out I saw my nails and was in horror, asked her to fix. She said it's ok no one can tell. I told her I'm paying for a service, it has not been met. She mumbled and said ok. Halfway into "fixing", she tells me to leave and find another salon to fix her mess, she has other clients coming. NOTE: I was booked for two services, that would be longer than the one provided. Time should not have been an issue. I told her this, so she finished. Didn't ask if they looked ok, if I'm happy, if there's anything else. Random price given ($55 on phone for soak off and full set, paid $45 for fill. Even lookin like that.) poorly ventilated salon. I typically tip 30%, this is the first time I didn't tip. Even after her "fix", there are lumps, bubbles, the shape is bizarre and looks like an eggplant, ends are slanted, the right side of EVERY nail has more acrylic than the rest of the nail. Never coming back, and I will be contacting oregon OSHA and HLO for not washing hands after client before me, for tools dropped and put back from my shoe, no seen disinfectants, and no ventilation. STAY AWAY. EDIT : said I could have refund, I said I live far, did not answer. Zelle and such things exist, but they do demand cash only. Shadier and shadier. read more

Filed below the nail onto my skin several times, aggressively pushing my fingers down and my hand away, swatting my hand down, etc. My nails are extremely painful and bleeding on the sides. I got a dip manicure. I asked them not to do the cuticle cutting cuz I don't like when nail salons do that. I think they did a good job, it's not too thick in my opinion, my nails are also really short which kind of makes them look thicker I think. I don't like the color I chose but other than that they did a good job with everything they even have a disinfecting machine for all of their tools which I appreciated. I would come back. I live nearby and have been here many times for a "quick" eyebrow wax. Today I walked out and I won't be back. I always make an appointment & show up "on time" = 5 minutes early. Every time I've been kept waiting at least 20 minutes, without any more than "have a seat." Service has been fine- but this is my last time. That's the easiest, least toxic money maker in this place- literally 5 minutes for $14, & it's too bad they don't know how to capitalize on it. NMP. Great service and fair prices, I've been going here for years. Love that they can get you in on same day notice or walk in.

Worse pedicure ever. They overbooked or they took walk-ins knowing they had appointments, so they ran me through in 20 minutes. I finished before the lady next to me who was part way through her pedicure when I sat down. I had to show the person four areas where they had left polish and one area where they missed. Then when putting on my sandals I noticed four other areas where they missed so the young person who was cleaning up after their client said they would fix it for me. This was very thoughtful and if I ever go back I would only choose them. But seriously not worth $35 for a pedicure (not gel polish) that my husband would have done better at. read more

I came to this place after seeing the positive reviews, I was in need of a fill and pedicure. The pedicure was phenomenal! Great service and craftsmanship. The fill was a completely different story. First, I asked for a French tip, but we switched gears to just a green when it was evident you could see the fill lines in the acrylic with the French tip. The results were just terrible. The gel is bulky and the shape of the nails is atrocious. See for yourself in the pic, I JUST got them 2 hours ago. From far away, the nail looks fine. Up close it looks like a trainee did it. Had some fabulous service on my Daddy/Daughter date. Decided to treat the kid to a nice pedicure, and boy was it needed. It was a short wait in the entrance way, but once I sat down in their full body message chairs the stress of years of dealing with her mother disappeared. I needed a quick pedi because my younger Sis is getting married and I heard from a few friends they do a great job here. They take walk ins. I went here for a pedicure that resulted in a bacterial infection called Folliculitis. Be wary of cleaning and disinfecting procedures. Also, a much smaller annoyance was that color on the gel palate did not match the color that went onto my nails (probably an old sample or something). The technician seemed irritated by my requesting a change since they didn't match and it wasn't what I wanted. He painted over the original color and it turned out ok but far from what I'd hoped. read more

Came here with a friend for the first time and the man that did my nails couldn't understand what I wanted him to do. I kept nicely trying to correct what he was doing. I finally gave up. I wanted a design from Pinterest and I'm sorry, but this guy had no artistic talent which is fine, but he should have just told me that or let someone else do the design part. Anyway, I called them back after that and asked if someone else could redo the design and they said yes. I came back in and they put me back with the same guy :/ so I just had him put a sticker on instead, which he still struggled to get on and it's all bubbly. The nail technician quality is about a 2Star! They all have dips in the nail after where the nail tip was added. LUMPY! I would normally pay $20 for this kind of work. So this is the third time my daughter and I have had appointments to get our nails done and we weren't scheduled. My daughter went to get a fill done by Rosie before work and she wasn't scheduled. So I contacted the manager Holly and explained to her this is the third time this happened to us. We have lives also outside of getting our nails done and we weren't scheduled once again. Then you ask us to come back at a later time. I explained if this how the business is ran then just post "walk ins only". Holly apologized for the inconvenience and asked if my daughter could come later I explained to her my daughter had work, came home very upset and just said forget it and took her whole set of nails off. Holly said she would compensate her if she would come back and give the salon one more chance to make it right. I asked my daughter if she wanted to or just go somewhere else? After persuading my daughter she said she would try for another set done by Rosie. The manager said, "okay that will be a week from the date." Thinking since they were going to make it right it was better then nothing. I however explained I wouldn't be going back. My daughter preceded to go to her scheduled appointment where she just got a gel overlay no tips and was charged for the nails. I knew that if I didn't go with her they would take advantage of her age and they did. To make a long story short we will never be going back to them. My favorite technician is Li. She's amazing and be sure to ask for her specifically. She's 5 stars all the way! She remembers you by name and remembers what you like and asks about your family. So friendly and efficient! She's willing to try anything and will try to replicate photos. I drive nearly 3 hours to go to her exclusively. She's a happy, hard working mama, so be sure to tip her generomusky. My only hesitation with this salon is they almost demand cash tips. The owners don't want to pay credit card fees on tips. But with excellent technicians like Li, who brings in customers, they should gladly pay the credit fee on tips. read more
