The first time, we were really pleased. The only downfall was that when the sun was really beaming, I guess the heat and humidity caused the smell of urine. I guess you have people that just close up the cabana (cabana #1) and urinate at the back of the cabana. The second time we figure we would try it a cabana reservation. Some things just need to be given another try. AGAIN, cabana #2 also reeked urine. Then we saw that they really don't clean the cabanas. They just restock them for the next use. Suggestion to employees, PLEASE.... clean and I know it may sound crazy, but mopping all around and underneath the sectionals should help tremendously.

Number 2 was that there were so many things to do in the park we were never left wondering where we wanted to go or what we wanted to do. Ron who rented us the cabin was so helpful and pointed us in the direction of some maps, the waterfall, and even a cool abandon old Castle that was a short hike away. We are not one to hike very often, however this was a great place to getaway and unwind from the hustle of work. So if you are not planning a beach vacation and are looking to mix it up a bit maybe a cabin in the woods might be your thing this year.

It was perfect for me to capture a sunset on the front deck. Everything you need is included in the bath and kitchen. We loved the jacuzzi tub. You can relax in it and see the lake through the windows. The beds were very comfortable. The tv didn't get very good reception, so we rented movies from Redbox. The internet was strong enough that the kids could play games on their laptops. We were there through the week so we were the only people there until check out time the last day and others started checking in. It was quiet and peaceful. I plan on visiting again soon.
