I called immediately when that was discovered and it was an answering service. So I emailed the company right after that happened, Justine the following day spoke with my husband and mentioned she would give us a credit but not a refund. I reached out to let her know what happened and she said the policy is the policy we were lucky to get a rafting credit with them. I am not able to raft (health reasons) I was booking for my family and it was an honest screw up on the internet booking that I tried to resolve right away and was unsuccessful at it. I find that to be poor customer service, I would not recommend as it was not very professional and left me with a poor taste regarding the Company. Justine said she was one of the owners would reach out to the other one and get back to me in the same day regarding a card credit vs rafting and what was fair, I reached out via email as she did not respond that day, she came up with the same answer of rafting credit. My husband had booked with another Company that was the location we were looking for and we just wanted are credit. River Riders!!!!! Three words... SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! I can't wait to bring people back to this place with me. We had the most awesome experience EVER! well, i cant' really say "ever" because it was our first time but, it was WAAY better than we even expected it to be. The guides are a TON of fun and are very charismatic, talkative, and helpful. If you do the morning session(9:00AM), you come back to table full of food. If you do the afternoon session (1:00PM), you start off with a table full of food and then grab all your gear and hop on the bus and head out to your destination. River Riders provides bootys, wet suits, life vests and...almost anything you could think of. If in doubt, just give them a call and ask, they're VERY helpful and will try to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Questions and concerns are also taken care of very well by the guides. You're more than welcome to bring a waterproof camera but there are professional photographers waiting to take your pictures. Buddha was our guide and he was a ton of fun to ride with. Thanks Buddha! TIP: - leave your expensive jewelry at home or in the car. if you take a splash in the water, you might come out without it. If you're willing to risk that then..SURE wear your jewelry =) i can't imagine how many diamonds are in those rivers. - bring a bottle of water in case you get thirsty - WEAR SUNSCREEN! if you're going without a wet suit during the hot hot summers. read more

Our family of 5 (including three kids ages 12, 14, 15) just rafted the Wenatchee River with River Riders this past Saturday morning and had a great time. Charlie was our guide and was fabulous. She pointed out wildlife and was very knowledgeable on the river. The kids were able to get off raft at several locations to swim and they even stopped at a great little spot for some snacks and fresh fruit. What a beautiful river, it is so clear you can see all the beautiful rocks and fish below. We first considered tubing, but are so glad we did the rafting instead. The river is pretty calm right now so we are considering requesting Charlie again to raft the Tieton River in September for higher grade rapids. The icing on the cake was a lovely lunch after we returned from the trip. I would definitely recommend River Riders. They were very thorough on the front end about rules and safety and we knew we were in good hands. read more

Great experience! This is our second time booking with River Riders and they did not disappoint. Allie was our guide - outstanding! Knowledgeable, interesting, and safe. This was my third time with River Riders and my wife's first. For me all three times have been awesome. Twice on the Wenatchee and once on the Methow. Lunch is filling and tasty. Buddha is by far the funnest guide. But the others I've had, Tiana and I forgot the others name, we're great as well. Safety is important to them. And the guides know what they are doing. Even though the water levels were record low, our guides managed to make it a memorable and family fun event. Our guides Brad and Mike were knowledgeable, friendly and patient as we navigated down the Wenatchee river. They had a fun time planned with snacks and a yummy lunch waiting for us when we were done. We had the world's most beautiful day on the Wenatchee River, rafting with family and friends. Our guides were Mike Bloom and Sean (sorry Sean, I didn't catch your last name) and they were very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We selected the afternoon trip because we didn't want to freeze in the morning, and we chose right because the weather was cool and crisp in the morning yet sunny and the perfect temperature in the afternoon. Before the trip started, they fed us a fantastic lunch of BBQ chicken, hot dogs, and fresh fruit and veggies. Our trip began on one end of Leavenworth and ended a few miles down river. After "Cupcake Rapids", we got out of the raft and we each body-surfed down the rapids before jumping back in the raft for more fun downriver. We stopped again to jump off of a huge boulder, and a third time for a picnic of snacks (lemonade, fresh oranges and pineapple, and cookies). The trip was exhilarating, and perfect for a group of all ages (children thru senior citizens). Our guides were extremely patient with the kids and prepared for all contingencies. We have used other tubing companies over the years but decided to try River Riders. It was the most disappointing trip of our experience. We were told that the trip is normally two hours but could be shorter if the river is running fast. The key word is 'if.' River Riders suggested that the trip could vary from two hours to one hour, definitely leaving the possibiliy open of a two hour tubing trip. IT WAS 45 MINUTES! As experts on the river, they could have just been more honest and direct and told us to expect a short tubing trip. They did not. We travelled three hours for a 45 minute trip. We will never use River Riders again. In addition, we had a younger female "guide" who was sarcastic, lacked humor and treated everyone like children. We also had an annoying older women "guide" who kept telling us after the trip that the trip worked for other people. I had to clarify that it did not work for us. We were also given wet and cold life jackets, and a broken ice chest. We will return to Let's Go Tubing! read more
