Pugsley is long hair, with layers and layers, and gets messy pretty fast in the winter. Usually, we just wait until the summer and I shave him down. I have 2 yorkies. One is 3 and the other is 6. I have tried so many groomers and been so disappointed when I picked my girls up. BUT NOT HERE! THESE LADIES ARE THE BEST! It was the first time I felt my dogs were safe and in good hands when I left. My intuition proved to be right. They did an excellent job cleaning and trimming. I think it's the first time they actually looked like a Yorkshire terrier when I picked them up. It was the first time a groomer actually filed their nails after trimming them. The others said they did and charged me too, but when my legs got all scratched up when they jumped on me I knew they hadn't. MOST OF ALL, IT SHOWS THEY TRULY LOVE ANIMALS. I FEEL THEY TREATED MY DOGS AS THEY WOULD THEIR OWN. I WOULD GIVE THEM 6 STARS IF I COULD! If you're looking for a dog groomer try River Road first. You will look no further. These ladies are great! They get my 13 year old wiener dog in for his baths and nail trims ASAP which is so great and they are so gentle with him. The grooming salon is also very clean and there are no funky smells like some places! All in all a great groomer and really fair prices! read more

We took our three small dogs in to get their nails done and could not be more happy with the service we received. Normally our older dogs get grumpy while having their nails done but neither one was grumpy and their nails were done perfectly. The groomers were so nice to take walk ins for nails and we will definitely be bringing our long haired dog back for a haircut. read more

When we moved to Oakdale we were blessed to finally find this very caring team to take care of our two girls. They are smaller dogs, and one can be quite anxious, but they do not mind going in at all as they are greeted by the groomers there as their best friends. They will help me get them back to the car, they are always on time or better with their commitment, and I know they truly care. They are wide open to input on how you would like your dog hair cut or any special needs. They even helped find a spot on one of our dogs that when we took her to the vet he was able to remove and follow to make sure it did not turn into cancer. I highly recommend them. read more
