All we got were rude emails about how I was not on the lease and shoudnt be there with the girls. And although I shouldn't have brought my second (12 lb ) dog over there to aid with training the pup, my girls, who are terrified of the alligators out there in the ponds, are already upset that they have no other person or animal to walk with them and their one dog. In essence, It's not like an apt complex, but more like Alcatraz. Except you are the one paying them big bucks for your own incarceration (for being stupid) letting them now dictate your life, who you see, who to associate with, watching your every move, with whistle blowers and leaf blowers ,literally, constantly going on and off around there, complete with a moat with live alligators to keep both man and beast in check. Too bad they are still living in the dark ages. There ARE authorities to keep wild animals in check and relocate them these days called GAME WARDENS. For rthe safety of people and their domesticated pets, somebody should call on them!!! This is not Alligator Adventure!! Or maybe it is, the wannabe version. Is this their only claim to fame, to help them mainly pull the wool over the eyes of society's most vulnerable, and most funded by the government, and about the only ones they can verify to even stay there.

Constantly spending my own money to kill dozens of nests on the building. They were affordable when i rented unsure how the pricing and management has changed. Its not all that luxurious to be honest. Definetly not worth the pricing they put on it. But its a lot nicer than everything around

There is literally hair stuck to the paint on the shelves. I called management and they sent maintance over to deal with me. I told them to have the manager call me. My sons feet were black after being on carpet. We have been here only two days, so I pray it gets better and they correct there mistakes. If I don't change this post, that means they handled it terribly. Who paints over long black hair??? Carpet is filthy and they said they cleaned it. If this is true then why are my sons feet black and there are spots everywhere. I am starting to feel like no one has time for you here. Oh and best of all, after 20 minutes here last night a neighbor walked out and had his pants down? I'm not sure what his problem was.

Let me start by saying we only tried this place because some nice people on the beach recommended it, I will say its location at Sunset Beach can not be beat! However unless you plan to sleep on one of the lawn chairs at the pool (which we debated) I highly recommend you skip it! We stayed in Room 113 and arrived around 10:15pm. My phone had died on the way in so the first task after opening the room was finding an outlet so that I could charge my phone. Maybe not the best choice... I couldn't get any light to turn on because apparently they weren't plugged it, the hairballs I encountered were larger than my fat cats that I left at home, and the shear amount of dirt and toilet paper was enough to turn your stomach. I did finally find an outlet beside the very dirt toaster oven. There was a microwave but I wasn't brave enough to look inside. The second thing I had to do was find the restroom... another unfortunate need. The shower curtain was COMPLETELY black with mold and there was hair in the shower. (GROSS!) Last but definitely not least when my husband turned down the bed the king size bed had been left with a Queen fitted sheet and flat sheet. Yep folks, just when you think it couldn't get any worse we tried to adjust the fitted sheet only to find the most apprehensive, disgusting, and unsanitary mattress pad that was crusted with yellow stains of God knows what! Lord help us if we had had anywhere else to stay we would have left immediately. Needless to say out of desperation my husband and I huddled on one side of the bed (the "cleanest" side) clinging to one another and shared the one pillow I had brought from home. Did I mention we sprayed the entire bed with Lysol before we laid down. We neither one slept a wink and arose early just to get the heck out of that cootie infested room. We spent all day on the beach and around 4pm decided to go back, carefully not touch anything and rinse off (don't worry we wore flip flops and used our own towels) and GO HOME. Leaving our last night unused but thankful to go home to our clean beds and house. I did send an email to Sloane Vacation Rentals who manages the property and they did call and say that someone from management would follow up. No one from management has followed up. Unless you want some type of cootie or std I would highly suggest NOT staying here and wasting your money. It was soooooo gross! **Also wanted to add that there was an unknown blood or fecal substance on the light switch in the bathroom. Don't worry it is pictured below.

Ancient dirty ac unit in bedroom- really only cooled the air, did not dehumidify. - the whole place reeked of mildew when I entered - filthy floors - stained bathtub can't ever look clean - hideous kitchen with very very old and very dirty stove/oven. I had planned on cooking which is why I needed a kitchen. I made coffee only. a new stove 24" wide is not so very $$$ - get a new one! - badly chipped and rusted microwave. Replace it - they are not expensive! - no wifi or tv for first 24 hours - no working outlet in bathroom the only good points: I did not see any bugs, the dishes and bath towels are new.

Chris, The Manager and Vanessa, The Assistant Manager have gone out of their way to help with any situations that come up. If I ever needed help they would do what they could for me. The maintenance men, Matt & JB, are truly efficient and timely with any repairs. I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a friendly, family oriented, quiet place to live.

NEVER MOVE HERE
