It's a place where powerful storytelling, artistic innovation, and human connection converge. I left the theatre inspired, moved, and already planning my next visit. The theatre is modern, comfortable and very well designed, with excellent views of the stage from any seat. The theatre itself is stunning, with a beautiful, classic interior that adds to the whole experience. The space manages to feel both grand and intimate, with a thoughtful design that invites you to slow down, observe, and soak in the welcoming energy. The staff were outstanding! Very helpful, courteous and professional. A perfect venue for an unforgettable show. The place is so well maintained that it really enhanced the experience!! Annie certainly lived up to expectations! Tears, laughter and dancing- what could be better? There is so much talent in the cast of Annie. The cast brought so much heart and energy to the story! The cast were just unbelievable and made the show what it is. This heartwarming holiday musical is full of hope, resilience and heart! It's so energetic and wholesome. From the catchy songs to the amazing cast, this production will leave you smiling long after the curtain closes! Amazing talent, wonderful story, beautiful music! Pure joy from start to finish! After more than 2 hours, when it ends, you just want more! Can't speak highly enough of it! Words fail me to describe the spectacle we saw that evening. Everything about this show was magical. Days later and I was still whistling the songs. The show is contagious! It is impossible not to smile, sing, or swing your head at the rhythm of the dances. An unforgettable experience that unites joy, nostalgia and the excellence of Richmond's Gateway Theatre. From the first note all the way through to the end, this is an unforgettable show. I could easily have walked out of the doors and back in for another performance. We were all up and dancing at the end and came out of the theatre with big grins on our faces. I recommend without hesitation. If you haven't grabbed your tickets yet, don't wait until "Tomorrow" - get them now before they're gone! ...and expect to be singing some great songs on your way home from the show!

I remember watching it myself many years ago when I was a young girl and as she and I have read quite a few of the "Anne" books together, I felt she'd enjoy the show just as much as I did.  The show was wonderful but I was a bit put off by how late the performance started. Start time for the show was supposed to be 1:00pm but the show didn't actually start until nearly 20 minutes. I was also not impressed with the system for getting refreshments during intermission. The lineup to get a drink/snack was insanely long and didn't seem to be moving. My daughter and I gave up after awhile and just back to our seats. I noticed a sign which indicated that one could pre-order drinks for intermission. I wonder how many other people saw this sign. I think it would have been nice if they'd advertised that option a bit more.  Overall, an enjoyable experience. We came to see the show so that's what mattered most and the show was wonderfully done. The experience could have been just a bit more enjoyable though if the show had started on time and if there had been a better system in place for people to get refreshments during intermission.  Service: Fair Parking: Paid parking Location: 6500 Gilbert Rd., right next to the Richmond Hospital

We came by on a Friday afternoon and purchase the $20 package for (if I remember correctly) 105 "points" to play with. Each machine can take anywhere from 12 to 21 (there may be a higher cost one that we missed) "points" for each attempt. I will say that we VERY quickly went through the $20, and the hubby ended up getting another $20 reload and asked if one of the games could be reset. The employee was very nice and helped reset the game, and we were (eventually) able to win one of the plushes! It's a clean area, and it seems to be a favorite for groups of friends and couples. The plushes are cute, and some are available for purchase (if you just have to have it!). I wouldn't mind going back again, though my heart dropped each time the claw grabbed the toy and immediately dropped it instead of moving to the chute with it. :') It's in the Aberdeen Centre, 2nd story!

I so wish I could transport this school closer to my home! Head Master Tseng is great! My son…read moreloves going to school and has blossomed so much. From day one, he jumped right in on the day's activity and had a blast. I love the fact that the main language taught in Cantonese which we speak at home. (but the staff is also fluent in mandarin and english too and will communicate with the kids in all languages if necessary.) The staff been very flexible and accomodating, especially since we were only visiting for a short time. The monthly rates are incredibly reasonable. Though it's a small facility, its pretty well laid out. The daily curriculum provides music, storytime, topic of the week, art and meal time and much more. I had my son there for just the mornings, but in 2 hours they do so much. Yet the information and learnings really stick because my little guy comes home telling me stories and singing all the stuff he's learned that day, and from the day before and the day before that! It's a structured program and somewhat strict, but still incredibly child friendly. All which I wanted. Each of the activities and learnings are done as a group, so if there are any laggers, the teachers would help push them along which encourages the kids and those that seem ahead of the group are ackowledged which really helps their self esteem and gets them out of their shell. There's usually another teacher and/or aid there to help with the students and regardless of the number of students, they always seem so well under control. Parents are required to bring lunch/snack for their children and the staff will help heat, set up and even feed the children and puts away the dishes to lunchbags. They're open 7 days a week and classes start at 10am-12pm and they continue with afternoon sessions as well. There's other classes for art, music and mandarin, which would be interesting to take up in the future for my son. Aside from academic, music and art, I'm so grateful that they reinforced basic concepts that I teach like good manners, respect, patience, proper hygiene too. I'm saddened that I can't take this class, the school and the teachers back home to CA with me. But I'm looking forward to our next visit and so is my son.
