I took a pair of brand new unwrinkled dress pants in for hemming. The hemming was fine. The attitude from the young girl up front was not. Also, when I picked the pants up after the hemming, they were wadded up on a pile of other clothes and very wrinkled. The young girl put them on a hanger, wrinkles and all, handed them to the receptionist and said I hadn't asked for them to be pressed... I told them both that there hadn't been a single wrinkle in the pants when I brought them in a week earlier. The young girl acted as if she hadn't heard me and disappeared into the back of the store. Luckily, the receptionist had a conscious and seeing that her boss had disappeared, gave them a quick press. She was the only saving grace of that place where I will not be returning. One "star" only for the brunette receptionist. Zero stars... for the rude young girl who seems to hate people in general... or her job... or both. read more

This is the only cleaners we use. Today we had a very unprofessional and disappointing experience however. We rushed to get there to pick up an item, and walked in the door at 5:51 pm. The young girl working there saw us coming and walked quickly into their back room. She then opened the side door and said sorry I already counted the money there's nothing I can do. We said we were paying with a card and she no sorry we're closed. The open sign was on, and the hours are clearly listed on the front window. When I went back to knock to get the owners information one minute later she came out looked at me from inside and didn't say a word or open the door. She walked back into the back room. While we were leaving a man was walking up to drop something off and was also very upset that she would not open the door even though the open sign was on and the hours are clearly listed. Very disappointed in this experience. There are a lot of people out there currently who need employment, hopefully they will find someone who is more caring of their customers in this wonderful community. read more

I took a blanket to be cleaned, which was a little pricy but to be expected. I also left to pair of ladies slacks to have a small amount of elastic added to the back waistband. I was partially to blame as I did not ask the attendant the price. She seemed clueless about alteration prices and said someone else did it. In retrospect I should have requested a price prior to having them done. How much could they charge for two 9 inch pieces of elastic ? When I picked them up the manager said the price the 2 alterations was $35. I could not believe it ! I questioned him and his reply was ghat she had to buy the elastic. The job was very poorly done and I could never wear them without my shirt tail covering the waist. My comment to the owner was I will never darken the place again. Way to go with customer service !! read more

The first time I used them I brought a sweater that came back with black streaks all over it. They were adamant that they didn't do it...until I pointed out that I could not have possibly created this pattern of spotting...on the back, front, sleeves ...everywhere. They took it back and got most of them out...but since I bought the sweater in France...it had a lot of sentimental value. When I told the owners wife, she was not only unapologetic, but arrogant! I promised myself I would never go back. Well, I went back in with a few sweaters. I brought them on Thursday morning and they were promised to be back Tuesday afternoon. I went to pick them up at first they had difficulty finding them. There was also a man standing next to me who's items they could not find and they informed him they would call him when they found them so I was a little apprehensive. They finally found them but one of the sweaters was not ready because they said they were going to treat it for stains and I could come back in a day or so and pick that one up. At this point I wanted to look at it, which I did and could not locate any stains. It was all wrinkled and they said They did not have time to steam it (which I thought was actually how they clean things) if I wanted to I could take it home today. Given my past experience I opted to do that. Even though the sweater was all wrinkled and not cleaned after 5 days, they managed to charge me. Once again they were unapologetic and actually nasty. After reading the previous reviews it seems that the things that are consistent are their behavior and their absolute lack of any customer service skills when there are problems. I took a dress to this cleaners to be hemmed. They chopped at the dress, hemmed it by machine, and ruined my dress just two days before I was supposed to wear it. They charged me over $50 dollars for this and refused to give me the dress unless I paid for it. I had to take it somewhere else to get it repaired and ended up paying more then the dress was worth. I would never use there service again and I do not recommend them to anyone. read more

They stated they do alterations but I don't think so, not if you want a good job and/or a reasonable time frame. My partner had suit pants hemmed. It took several weeks and then it was a shoddy job. Unfortunately, he did not try it on prior to wearing it to the wedding he needed it for. I dropped off a jacket to have the broken zipper replaced. I figured I wanted to support local business and everyone deserves a second chance. They stated it would be ready the "week of December 19th". I called and was told by the gentleman on the phone that he did not have time to talk to me, look for my jacket or find out if it was repaired. I stated that he had promised it that week and I wanted to know if it was ready. He told me to call back later. I did and received no answer. I went in today to pick it up. The staff working could not find the ticket and stated that the jacket must be at the owners house because that is where all the alterations are done. I explained that they had now had my jacket for over 3 weeks. I requested the address of the owner and informed the staff that I was leaving town and needed my jacket and I was willing to go to the owners house to pick it up. She then looked again and found my jacket. No identifying information was on it so my ticket would not have helped find it anyway. The zipper had not been repaired and the woman stated that the owners were out of town and could repair it when they returned. I told her no and informed her that I was not pleased due to the need to have my jacket fixed prior to my trip this weekend. She tried to make excuses by saying that the owners/tailors were booked up. I suggested that when people drop off things to be altered, that they be given a realistic time frame and not to take work in while they were out of town. Bad service, bad attitude, bad quality. Do not waste your time!!! read more
